So I just turned 17 and about a year ago I became really interested in photography. It seemed like a simple hobby, but there was a point where I realized this was something I was really interested in. So I bought my first DSLR about a month and a half ago and I've been trying to, I guess, market myself.

I have a website Miketphotography.com and I've posted ads on craigslist [making sure to repost every so often]. I know my age is a big part of why people turn away, but I wanted some advice on how to get my name out there. This is something I'm very passionate about. I carry business cards around when I go shoot street photography, and I take my camera with me 99% of the times I go out.

So I really just want people to know about me so I can actually start making a profit. Any ideas are gladly and thankfully welcome!

I am making a website for a photography business, and I am having trouble creating a contact form.

I am not experienced in flash at all, but I've gotten through everything I've done by reading online and following tutorials.

The site is pretty much done, except I can't figure out how to make the form work.

I'm using AS3.

I have 4 input text fields named "tname" "temail" "tphone" "tmessage"

and I have a button named "submit"

can anyone please provide a code that will help me set it up and get it working? I have been looking on the internet for hours and nothing I try seems to work. I've tried several codes but they just mess up the entire site. So if anyone can provide with a code or some sort of help, I would really appreciate it.

I'm editing video on Sony Vegas pro 10 and have been editing it since last night. [of course, I stopped and started again] but now, all of a sudden while I'm editing the video goes to black and no video plays. When I close the program and open it again, the video is fine for a few seconds to a minute and then it goes to black again [I can hear sound and see media generated within the program such as solid screens etc] I tried rendering, and it rendered a portion of it fine, but then the video went to black while rendering too. What can I do? I need this video for tomorrow morning.

I'm using Windows DVD Maker to burn a dvd, but it is taking long and it's very late. If I leave my laptop open, will it go to sleep while burning the dvd? Or can I just leave it burning and go to sleep?

So I want to to a very short film in which there's a plant that sort of 'shoots out' some sort of powder thing. The thing is that it falls into people's drinks (it's a plant someone has at home) and it poisons them. However, I am not sure of how I could get the effect of the plant shooting out the 'powder' without having to build a contraption. I have Adobe After Effects CS4. Is there a way to do it there? If anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free to let me know! Thanks!

I have a laptop running on Windows 7. on my old computer, i had windows vista, and when i plugged in my tablet, the tablet input panel would show up and I could write things instead of having to type. On my Windows 7 computer, however, when I plug in my tablet, it doesn't show up. I downloaded the driver from the website, and it's still not working. Any ideas?

I want to set up a profile for my sister on our netflix account. We want to know if this comes at any extra charge? and also, we have the one-out movie rental plan. Would we have to upgrade to the 2-out or more in order for us to get 1 movie each? Thanks!

My mother is a permanent resident, and she filed form I-130 for both me and my sister. Last month we received the letter of approval, but it says

"The above petition (i-130) has been approved. The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. The information submitted with the petition indicates that he or she is not eligible to file an adjustment of status at the time."

Why are we not eligible?

Is it because my mother is not a USC?

Is there anything we can do?

Soi'm trying to rememebr the name of this movie. It has something to so with a girl who lives with her parents, and there is something wrong with the house and with her stepmother. She tells her sister or her friend about it, and they don't believe her. Then at one point in the trailer the sister or friend said "Okay, now i'm afraid." Also, in the trailer, the girl has a glass of milk, and when she drops it and it smashes on the floor, the milk turns black. That's about all that i Remember, and that the mother/stepmother was evil. Does anyone know the name?

So, we filed an I-130 form about a year and a half ago, and recently we got a letter saying that the case had been transfered to the NBC in Lee Summit MO. Can anyone tell me what this means? what will we have to do next?

I'm working on a film for school. We're turning the story "tell tale heart" into a film. The only problem i have is creating the evil eye. I can't spend much money on it.. does anyone know of a way to do it? I'm working on this tree in blender 3d.. and i'm following a tutorial i found online... I'm trying to add a texture of leaves.. and i'm using a PNG image that has a white background.. but i can't get the background to go away when i apply the texture... when i render it the white background is still there... how do i do it so only the image (without the background) is applied as a texture..?

I got them mostly on my legs. They itch like crazy. I even got them in school so i don't think they're bug bites. i have some in my arms, two in my hands, and one in my face but like a lot on my legs. when one stopped itching then another one came out.. and they're really itchy. Whhat could have caused this?

I used to be allergic to seafood, and then it all went away, but i haven't eaten sea food except for yesterday, and they started to come out like 2 days ago.. help?

i have this laptop. Dell Inspiron 3800 and its well.. old.. it uses XP because i installed it. I went to the system requirements page to see if i could run my pc games on it (like WOW, The Movies) and stuff and it says my cpu speed does not meet the minimum requirements. is the only way for the CPU speed to be faster to buy a new computer?

This is part of the first chapter. Here i explain why the current queen is the way she is. It is all related to her childhood. This is told from a 22 year old's point of view. I'm only almost 15 so you know. Its a bit hard for me since well i have to look into the future about 7 years to see how i'd act. I wanted to do it from a 22 year old's point of view. i just want an opinion about the story itself.

An exerpt from "Forbidden"

Once the king and queen married, a witch who was in love with the king could not stand to see him marry someone else. She decided to put a spell on both the king and his wife as a way to show her anger. Everyone on the land knew that the queen was close to giving birth to the princess, so the witch said, “I curse your first born child. She shall suffer all her life, because love she will never find. Since the smallest glance of her flesh, will make anyone leave their life behind.”

This meant that anyone who saw even the smallest part of her, except for her eyes, would suffer a fast and cold death. Everybody was shocked and scared, but the witch was taken out of the palace. Then the wedding went on. The queen, even though the witch had been put in jail, was still in shock throughout the whole ceremony. She was scared of what would happen when the princess was born.

A couple of months after the wedding, people began to hear a rumor. It was said that a doctor and his assistants had suffered an unexpected death while working at the hospital. It was clear to everyone that it had happened because the princess had been born, but the king and queen both denied it. “Why would the royal family need to lie?” that was the question going through everyone’s mind. The only problem was, that no one could forget what had happened at the royal wedding. Everyone still remembered the curse that was put on the royal family.
