Why do lawyers stand up with their clients in the court room?
I am curious to know...and where does the concept originate from, if any?
Thanks in advance.
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics10 years agoI'm getting an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting...but I don't want to stop there..?
I want to continue my education and still be in the Healthcare field. I really like the idea of becoming a certified Master Herbalist because I am interested in the holistic approach to things. But in order for that to happen, most schools (at least the ones I have looked at) require a Bachelor's degree. So my question is, what could I pursue so I can earn my Bachelor's? Any ideas??
Thanks
4 AnswersHealth Care1 decade agoNeed some schooling advice, any healthcare professionals, if you would please, answer!?
I am currently enrolled in a Certified Nursing Assistant class and was thinking about adding Medication certification (so i can pass meds) and phlebotomy under my belt to make me more 'valuable' to my future employer. What do you think? Think it's a good idea?? I plan on continuing for my RN eventually.
Thanks
2 AnswersHealth Care1 decade agoCan a parent sign over their rights to a designated guardian so the kids won't have to go to foster care?
There is a situation going on right now, where there is a possiblity that the parents will be charged with 4 counts of child neglect each, which would be both parents' 2nd account. Instead of going to foster care, would the parents be able to sign over their rights to a designated guardian? The kids have spent a week in foster care already and are back home.
Thank you for your answer.

22 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes anyone know anything about the Hecatine Tradition?
I know that the Hecatine Trad is also known as the Caledonii Trad and it involves the Goddess Hecate. I can't seem to find much more than that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoPagan Hell, what do you think?
This is supposed to be a joke, but if one really thinks about it, it has some sense to it: Here is the site. http://www.turoks.net/Cabana/PaganInHell.htm
Then post your comments AFTER you read it. Thanks!!
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is a good way to explain to a Christian about Paganism?
I'm trying to think of a good way to explain to my fundamentalist Christian mother that being a Pagan Witch doesn't mean I have to have green skin and cackle while stirring a cauldron filled with frog legs and bits of children. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf you worship a dark Goddess, does that mean you should be following the Dark Path?
I'm just curious. I have a Dark Goddess as my main 'mama' *smiles* just wondering if I should be aiming towards a darker path?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf you had to decide who's life you would save...gods forbid, your child or your spouse?
I saw this on a TV show where these people beat each other up over a decision they made. The guy had to choose weither to save his wife or his daughter. He saved his daughter. Just out of morbid and cold medicine drugged curiousity, who would you pick?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBrain tumor? Should I get another opinion?
When I was in high school, which was like about seven years ago, I told my mother about the frequent headaches I was having. Blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, severe throbbing headaches, blackouts, sensitivity to light and sound, all that fun stuff. She took me to the doctor and they took a scan. They told us that I had a mass in my head. It may be cancerous. They waited a week while putting me on steriods to null the pain, I guess...just made me look like a human ballon. and so the week went by and they did another scan. They told us that it didn't look like a tumor and it was just a mass in my head (the size of a softball) that hadn't formed all the way at birth. I still continue to get these frequent headaches, now with more blurred vision. So, the question is, should I get a different opinion???
5 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoWhat is the Wiccan's or Pagan's Version of how the world was made?
Im just curious. I know Christians have their stories and I know a few other beginnings, but I never have found anything about the Wiccan's side of the beginning of the world. Maybe I'm not searching in the right places??
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat do you say to someone who...?
I have a cousin that is going thru a really rough time dealing with his father's death and came up to me, yesterday and asked why I believed in what I believe. I am Pagan. He claims to follow Atheism but I don't feel that he is really so. I think he is just mad at the situation and might as well have just blame it on the Christian God. Since he was raised Christian. So my question is, what do I say to him? If anything?
