My friend is looking into starting a brokerage account. He will generally focus on lower-priced stocks ($10 max, the lowest he mentioned was trading at about 50 cents) and will start with a $1000 initial investment. I know some places charge extra for small-priced stocks like that. Where is the best place to begin trading? I spoke with one financial adviser and she mentioned Charles Schwab, but I have also heard good things about Vanguard and Scottrade.

I have been reading threads online and a lot of managers don't give Mensans the credit they are due. Being in the top 2% of IQ scores is pretty damn good if you ask me, yet I've heard people say that it doesn't matter at all. Well, as someone with management experience, I know I sure would like to have one of the top 2% of problem solvers working for me.

I just got my windows tinted today (20% all around, except for windshield.) This was done in Florida, because I go to school here for 9 months out of the year. I am a little darker than legally allowed (by about 8%) but I am not worried about that in Florida because it's pretty close. However, I am worried because Virginia law (where I go on breaks) is more strict. I believe it's 50% on the front windows and 35% on the back, meaning I'm 15-30% too dark there.

Do I have to worry about that, considering my car is registered in Florida and my license is from there too?

This summer I want to learn to play hockey. My current skating skills are minimal. I can go forward with falling, but very slowly. I doubt I can go backwards slowly anymore. Link me to some good Youtube videos on how to skate for hockey, give me some tips, and link me to some cheap equipment. The most helpful person gets the best answer. I am willing to put a lot of time into this, even though I work 40 hrs a week I have full access to a roller rink behind my house and some access to an ice rink not to far away.

My roommate and I both got Vizio TV's. He has a 26in, I have a 22in. Each of our remotes works for both tv's and it gets really annoying when changing channels, powering off/on, volume, etc. Is there anyway to make each vizio remote work only for our respective tv's?

I am considering investing in either MGM Mirage (MGM) or WMS Industries Inc. (WMS). Which has a better outlook in your opinion? Please, only those with some experience should answer. I don't want uneducated predictions. I have done a great deal of research on this and have consulted a financial adviser, but I would like to hear some other opinions.

All I remember about it is that a black man and white man switch bodies when they die. One guy's guardian angel bent over to tie his shoe and while he wasn't looking the guy got hit with a bus. I know it's not a lot to go on, but it's been so long since I've seen the movie.
