Raghuveer Pratap Singh is a popular punk, who holds kangaroo courts,abducts, murders through his associates. He has robbed many people of their hard earned money directly/ indirectly. Though the media is well aware of his deeds, they still calls him "raja bhaiya"(timesofindia, mid-day, times now, aajtak and many other of them)

my question is when the media brings attention to atrocities committed by politicians/ citizens, why is the hypocricy of calling the punk in his glorified name rather than his original name.

hi i have downloaded couple of serials via torrent. i have both the videos in divx/ avi/ mp4 format as well as the subtitles in srt format.

the problem is in few episodes the subtitles are sync with the video. but in other, they are either forward or lagging in the video. say for eg: a character is saying "what are you doing", at 01.0 min then the subtitle will appear either at 00.50 sec or 01.50 sec - the timing is not exact just an eg.

is there any software to sync both the video and subtitles, as in the scenario given above, instead of editing in word and entering the exact frame and time (which is a very cumbersome task by the way)

this is a bit lenghty and am sorry in advance if i had inflated a small scenario.

I have XP installed in my pc and I have been using 80gb IDE hard drive with 3 partitions. I tried to add a 250gb sata drive to increase my disk space. after installing the sata drive, both bios and os recognized the sata drive. so far no issue. Planned to divide the sata into 50gb partition (5 partitions).

Right clicked My computer and selected manage. A box opened (computer management (local)) in that i selected disk management. Right clicked the sata disk and selected new partition. defined 50 gb as space and primary partition which was highlighted by default and below that was extended partition (can select either the former or latter) and logical partition(not highlighted)

(already i have c drive of my ide as primary partition and other 2 drive are logical partition in my ide) after confirming the choices i selected to format. hardly the format was 50-55% complete, the pc shut down. on restarting got error msg in red font "computer is overclocked press any key to continue, default settings will be loaded". system restarted without any file loss. then i selected extended partition and formatted without any trouble. then i right cliked the newly created partition of sata (50 gb) and got an option to convert to logical drive which i succeeded. now i want to create other partition - but on clicking partition, i am getting just primary partition highlighted while extended/ logical partition are not highlighted.

my worry is if i select primary partition and the same scenario repeats (after reaching a particular % the system restarting and displaying the red font error msg "computer is overclocked press any key to continue, default settings will be loaded")

please let me know how to proceed further of creating extended partition for the remaining space of my sata drive

i have seen different people who are either honest or practical. can a person be both honest and practical at the same time.

why do we have very less number of female comedians compared to a large number of male comedians

few days back i saw an english movie in TV. Guess the movie had just started cause. A cruise ship is sailing in an ocean. Passengers are dancing in the open deck while a woman is singing to live band. A small girl around 10 years dances with an old man (presumably her grandfather/ uncle/ caretaker etc). Next the camera pans to the wires which are decorating the deck with their bright lights. Then a man comes to the deck and unknowingly triggers a fatal chain reaction - he does something which causes the light wires to snap up. The wires cuts through almost every1 in the dance floor except the little girl. Every1 is shown falling to the ground with their body sliced by the wire (Remember the laser effect in Resident Evil1 while entering the Red Queen room).

The girl is horrified by what has happened and is hugging her grandfather tightly. After a while she raises her head to only see his face being cut by the wire at his mouth - thereby killing him. Seeing this the girl screams in terror and the screen goes black.

Can any1 recollect which movie is this

am in a relationship with a girl. she is hindu and am a muslim. we have been together though we want to marry each other and live together, there are few issues. can u suggest a proper way for us to marry while retaining our religion without conversion (dont say registrar marriage pls).

i want to monitor the data downloaded from net as i want to keep it under check. is there any software or free ware that allows the user to monitors data downloaded and give a reminder once a predefined limit is crossed.

say for eg i have a plan where i have 2 gb free download per month. i should be able to define a reminder at 1GB. once 50% is used, i should get a reminder that 1GB is used, so that i can have a close watch on the balance 1GB. this is the scenario. any idea folks

in some places, the people get married only to some1 from their own community and they dont marry a person who is not of their community. by the way, everywhere in the world a community is similar to a family.

having said that, when the people actively support or encourage community marriage isnt it similar to marrying your sibling/ cousin thereby committing a sort of incest.

though the concept of prequel/ sequel is very slowly catching up in indian movies, why do indian movies dont have a prequel/ sequel concept. they start a story and finish it in 2-3 hours. neither do they enhance the end of the movie and make it into other movie as a sequel nor is the begining giving another begining thereby creating a prequel.

Am a big fan of Rocky series. The dialogs are also too good as is the story and performance of each actor/ actress.

But I find all the Rocky movies have a similar story line. Some of the major are given below.

1. A reigning boxing champ challenges Rocky for the championship match

2. Rocky is always calm and stuck to ground without any arrogance or pride or ego or other such things inspite of being a ‘rags to riche’ story and is always humble and soft speaking in heart and body.

3. The opposing champ is a coloured guy (save ivan dregor from Russia in part 4 and tommy gunn in part 5).

4. The opposing guy team, (coach/ manager and others) are also coloured

5. Only the physical exercise done (running, swimming, weight lifting, punching the bags is shown and the diet consumed is not shown except a glass having 4-6 raw eggs in few parts.

Can u explain these similarities?

snakes which kill their prey by constriction or by injecting venom, always swallow the prey head first. why is it that way

how were years calculated in the olden days. i mean how did ppl arrived that this year is yyyy, next year is yyy+1 and so on. as long as i remember all the treaties signed in history has the date of the war and the date the treaty was signed. how did they found what is their current year.

my question might be little freaking for most of you. we all have read in our school days about what is BC and what is AD. But how was it arrived. for the ppl in th BC era like Alexander, Cleopatra, Ramses, Ashoka, how did they calculate the years. how did they know "this year is a", next year is b'.

and another part is how did or how are the years calculated, like say for eg: renaissance happened between 1300 to 1700. industrial revolution happened between 1800 to 1900 how did the ppl at that time know that the current year is x, and next year is y and so on.

my question might be a little freaky, but ur answers will be highly appreciated as am not able to find the solution for this question,
