does anyone know of snakes that are the size and thickness of ball pythons but dont just sit there and they actually move around. i mean they dont have to be super fast i just would like one that moves a little bit.

I want a pet that i can just take out and hold when i want and that is like maybe one week i want to hold them everyday then the other week i wont want to take them out at all. And when i do take them out it will probably be a short amount of time. you can list any type of animal like reptiles and all but its more of a question for fuzzy animals because i know most reptiles dont even want you to touch them and others like bearded dragons you can handle whenever you want. i heard mice would be a good choice but i would like some more options

I want a mouse but i want to know if you have to interact with them a lot like hold them and all because i like mice but i only really wanna play with them every once in a while like probably a few times a week for a short period of time but i also might go a week and play with them everday so it would be inconsistent and there might be a week i dont want to take them out at all. i would have a few females so they wouldnt be all alone. i did try looking up this question on google but couldn't find anything. also i know that this is how much i would play with them because when i was staying with my aunt she had them and thats how much i played with them.

Today i found a lump on one of my dogs legs and i know that can be serious and he needs to get to a vet. But my dad is on a business trip and doesnt get back for 4 days and i texted him about it and he said wait until he gets home. If it is a tumor, can it grow in 4 days since i know the earlier its caught and the smaller it is increases the chances of it being cured. Can i wait or do I need to tell him he has to go to a vet now. If thats the case i could ask my grandmom to take him to the vet and pay for it but my dad has to pay her back.

I dont support chain petstores because of how they treat their animals and that i dont support buying animals. if i work there would i be making them money? Would i be helping the animals? Because i want to work there so i can teach people about the animal before they go buying them and unintentionally abusing them, them ending up in shelters or dying. But would that be hurting them because if i work there im supporting the store to keep breeding more and selling more?

I want to adopt a flemish giant rabbit and have it be free range but I do have a dog and he tries to chase rabbits while on walks. Idk if he wants to harm them tho because he chases my cat but when he gets up to her he never hurts her. also because of their large size i was thinking it would be different. the rabbit i am looking at is 14 lbs at 3 years old but I am trying to look for one even bigger. even if he doesnt hurt the rabbit would it be too stressful for her to be around him because he might chase her

i was wondering if i can turn off his uvb in the day from sunrise to sunset so i can play with him and not disturb the amount of uvb light he needs and then just put him back in and turn on the lights at sunset til sunrise

I want to switch my dog to raw food and in videos they say dogs should have fish oil supplement so can i just feed fish? also how often

Today I took my dog to the dog park and before that he was not licking his paws at all and then we came home and I'm not sure if he was licking his paws or not I wasn't paying attention and then 20 mins after we get home my dad leaves and then my dog kept licking his back paws over and over anytime he's awake but stops to sleep but will wake up just to lick. He's never done this before except when he skinned his right paw but running in a tennis court but his paws are not skinned at all. They are not red in between the paw pads and I tried getting a close look and I saw a little cut in between a paw pad and I went to check the other paw bc he is licking 2(both his back paws) to see if there was a cut there and I think I see one but the lighting isn't good and he bites me hard when I check so I think I'm hurting him. If the licking continues tomorrow I will call the vet but I just wanted to see if you guys knew anything so I can help him sooner or so I don't have to waste money at the vet if it's nothing

I really want to switch my 1 year old male aussie to raw food but i tried feeding him a piece of a raw burger one time and he didnt even take it from my hand and i put it on the floor and made sure he saw me put it there and he didnt eat it so I dont wanna waste all this money buying a scale a grinder all the meat and everything else just for him to not eat it. So basically I have three questions, 1: if he doesnt like the food should i just leave out the food until he starves himself to be so hungry to eat it since raw food is the best food for them or just give him back his orijen dog food. 2: is there anyway i can test if he would like the raw food without buying all the products like try giving him a chicken leg or something 3: this is just a side question. if he does end up eating the raw food do I have to grind up the food and mix it with fruits and veggies or just give him the meats regular and not ground up. Sorry i asked a lot u dont have to answer everything if you dont know

If I have a dog do I need to get two? Since dogs really love people I kind of feel like they don't because they have us but then again I'm not an expert on dogs. But I also know that they are pack animals and thrive off a pack so they should have more than one of them or do they see their human family as their pack? To give you more info because I know this answer can be unique to the situation but my dog is an Australian Shepherd and so I go to school and while I'm there he goes to doggy day care with other dogs(I haven't done this yet but this is my plan on what to do) Then I would come home and and give him his exercise and play and all so I would be with him doing stuff like every second. The thing is though my dog he likes other dogs but he likes his space like he will like a dog but if the dog keeps following him he will growl and snarl he only does that with male dogs tho and not girl dogs and I think that's because he is more interested in mating with them but that was before he got neutered so idk if it will be different now. He never really plays with the dogs that much tho and he only ever played with a little puppy because she kept playing with him and he will play through a fence but not in the same enclosure like at a dog park. He won't bite tho just warn them to get away. And when he hears a dog bark while on a walk he will run fast. So idrk if he even likes dogs so if any of u guys know this stuff plz tell me.

I was looking up all cat breeds and saw tabby and domestic shorthair listed separately. I thought that tabby was just a color or pattern that a domestic shorthair can have. Am I right or just dumb and the website was correct?

every grey cat I have ever met has been mean. I had never met any mean cat until my cat had babies and it had a grey one that just came out the womb mean asf it would hiss and scratch since day 1 and corrupt its siblings that were nice except for when around him and then some stray kittens all were nice but one gray one that hissed at me. I do not mean tabby grey cats or grey with some white or other color I mean full grey cats like Russian blues and other cats that aren't that breed but still are full grey like them. If you have a cat or have ever owned a cat or met a cat of that color please tell me ur experiences so I know if all of them are from the devil or not

Theres this stray cat I feed. I go up and see her 3 times a day one for breakfast one just to see her and I bring a bit of food and fill up her water bowl since it gets warm and then for dinner. Shes very friendly and even the first time i saw her she came right up to me so shes definitely not feral also because she is chubby and doesnt live in a group. I went up to see her and she was panting since its really hot out. I want to take her to my house with air conditioner but I will have to put her back outside in a few days if I take her inside because I have a dog and right now hes not here but will be back in a few days and hes not good with cats. So i feel like its mean to take her in and then just put her outside because thats obviously been done to her before. So my question is should I bring her in for the few days or just leave her? (I am going to list a petfinder ad for her but I doubt she will get adopted in those few days.)

there is stray cats in my neighborhood and I want to feed them but im only a kid and therefore dont have much money and my dad refuses to buy them food. So if i fed them they would be getting stuff like friskies cat food which I know is very poor quality and not good for them. They obviously get their food from somewhere or they would be dead so should i leave them or feed them the poor quality food?

It is legally hers or thats what she said bc i dont even know if a dog can legally be someones. my dad bought the dog tho can i do anything legally other than ask pretty please as shes said no to several times note this is important as she mistreats my dog. not anything so serious that the dog would be legally taken from her but she puts him either on a short leash in the cage or not able to leave one room all the time. the dog fears her as she will yell at barely anything and sometimes hit and throw the dog but no marks i can prove also she barely gives it exercise and hes an australian shepherd that needs tons and when she goes on vacation she will leave the dogs home for days in a room with no care. I know thats illegal but thats the only thing other than hitting and i cant prove it

my dog doesnt hurt her shes just scared. But i was thinking maybe a crate would help the cat feel more safe because i dont want her to be so stressed. im not gonna lock her in i mean just keep it open and put a cover so she feels safe idk is that stupid or will it help?
