Should we have an electoral college? Why/Why not. You don't have to have a degree to answer this, but a thoughtful answer is appreciated.

And if you think we should not have an electoral college, what are ways you can go about making a change or making your opinion heard in a larger arena?

It says i have no public pictures on my Flickr account, but thats not true. my site has been reviewed as safe and they are al saved as public. i can search them from flickr. any suggestions? i've tried Refresh, lol. And i've waited a week.

What are some techniques besides just hanging them upside down?

ever since the age of 5 or 6 I have episodes where I sleepwalk (haven't done that one since i was a teenager) and also sleep with my eyes open. i frequently have tremors throughout the night (3 or 4 each night). If i wake up in the middle of the night I tend to experience vertigo.

I'm looking for input. Knowledge, experiences? Would you guess these are related? Are they symptoms of something psychological or physical?

I have a fairly healthy track record. i am 20/100 in my right eye (since I was born). I have fetal alcohol effect. I wet my bed until I was 12 years old. I may or may not have expereinced some trauma as a child, but I am not certain. I also saw a speech therapist for 6 years.

produce our own folic acid? it used to just really rack my brain when i took micro, that all these tiny little bacteria can produce it but we can't. they have to spray it in our cereal to get us to eat it... hmm...

like i noticed that the saying "With God all things are possible," is matthew 19:27, mark 10:27, Luke 18:27, Luke 1:37...do you see the 7's? the 27's, the 18 and 19, kinda interesting huh?...there a few others i found but what about you?

why is death so taboo? especially in a small town? my brother died 12 years ago today and i think back and i remember just how people would just stare. nobody said anything, all of a sudden i was a complete stranger. its like they didn't know what to say, so they just stared instead? i remember feeling like such an alien. other people in my town had the same experience. is it like that everywhere? and if so, why do you think people have a hard time with that?

my dream: All pastel watercolor-like colors of cartoon dragons or dinosaurs with wings. they were just hopping through the forest, i think there was a castle in the background and at certain times all the faces of the dragons would sort of come up in really close view but far enough away that i could see all of their faces and they were smiling really toothy smiles. there was probably 10 or 12 dragons. your thoughts? interpretations?

There are people at my work that sit around and talk about people and say really cruel things about gay people. I can't even go near them anymore and a couple times its made me cry. I work in health care and it just irks me that someone who is here to care for all ppl has the nerve to talk about other peoples lifestyles like its so wrong. It makes my blood boil but I don't want to make waves (i'm new). I keep telling myself karma will get back to them but I spend my whole day trying to brush it off my shoulder. do you have any suggestions; virtuous or sublte ways I can go about showing them they are wrong? Or making them stop? I can't imagine what the patients hear.

Did you see the headline about the school in vienna, virginia (a fairfax county middle school) penalizing children for hugging or high-fiving. They are saying it is so that all students feel comfortable and safe. geeeze, i would be super uncomfortable in a school where you're afraid to accidently touch somebody and get a detention? Can I get a big, "whats the world coming to" on this one?

I just picture him laughing his tail off as millions of yahooligans all over the world type their little hands to death, getting all hot and bothered about what they think they know about Jesus and God and all this... lol. lol. I bet God and Jesus and all the saints and anything else that lives up there (or wherever) or doesn't are just sitting, eating popcorn and giggling away at our google searches and bible flipping, trying to find the right verse...lol. i'm sorry but i'm more one to make light of the situation. no offense to anyone. i really do respect all of your opinions and religions and nonreligions. : ) cheers to all the belief systems that get us through life, yah?!

What are some good way back when rituals or traditions you've heard of for celebrating solstice (its a big deal up here in alaska so you'd think i'd know more than anybody lol). I've heard of hanging herbs on your doorknobs and of course having a bonfire which i fully intend to do...but what else?!! What are some old mideval or cool gyspy rituals you've heard. Or even Native American, I'm sure there were some that celebrated the longest day of the year?!
