What is .rft function? I have to take a test and need .rtf function. When I asked the British school what that meant, I was told most computers have it. When I downloaded the test today, it went to nothing, and I didn't get it so I couldn't take the test. I am very upset about this as I am only supposed to get one chance to take the test.

I wrote a cute little children's book I am selling at various local fairs, and I need some help w/ the tax. I am selling it for $12 including tax. Tax in this state is 6.75%. I can figure out what tax is on $12, and I think I can set up the equation to figure out what the price of the book was before tax: x + .065x = 12, but for the life of me, I don't remember how to figure out x in this equation. I am almost 60, so please don't be too hard on me. I haven't taken a math course in about 40 years. Thanks.

Not that I care, but I got a couple of thumbs down for pointing out that the Jews and the Persians (and the Arabs for that matter) all descended from the same man and therefore they do look a lot alike, so Jesus and bin Laden could look a lot of alike (and if the Shroud of Turin is, in fact, Jesus' burial cloth, they do look a lot alike). I didn't say they thought alike or acted alike. Since when do people get to choose their relatives?

There is this feral cat who moved onto my back porch in April. I started feeding him in May. He started interacting with me in July. Winter is coming, and I am allergic to cats. I was wondering if there is any safe way to heat a detached garage that has no electricity. Obviously, I can't use a kerosene heater because the cat will probably knock it over, goodbye garage, goodbye cat. I guess I'm getting attached to the cat, in spite of the fact that I break out and itch every time I pet him. I should probably just give him to a cat shelter committed to finding cats home and not euthanizing them.
