  • Anyone know a good custom dress maker?

I m looking to cosplay Glinda in her Blue Bubble Dress from "Wicked" this April, and I was thinking of working with a custom dress maker online since I can t find the dress already available to order anywhere else (Etsy, AliExpress, EBay, no where).

Has anyone ever had personal experience in ordering a custom dress online? Any reccommendations? I m looking to spend as little as possible, though I know this dress has a lot of detail, especially with all the sequins. I know from going to a bridal shop once that they gave me an estimate of $750 for a replica of Anna Kendrick a gold Cinderella dress from "Into the Woods," though that was mainly because there was a time crunch involved. So, I expect Glinda a dress would cost around the same.

  • Why can t I access certain folders in my Photo Library on iMovie?

I ve made a few videos on iMovie before, and I ve always been able to drag videos and photos from specific folders I had made in my iPhoto Library down into the timeline. I just updated my software, however, and now I don t have this option. When I click "Photos Library" under the Libraries tab on the left hand side. I can choose from "My Albums," "Albums," "Years," "Collections," "Moments," "Places," and "Shared" from a drop down menu, but I don t have the option of going into specific folders I made under "My Albums" in Photos. How can I access these albums in iMovie so I have an easier time navigating through my photos? There is no sense of organization in the current choices I am given in iMovie, and it is driving me absolutely insane.

  • What are some good documentaries about events taking place in the 1960's-1970's?

Some that I've liked are "Edgeplay: A Film About the Runaways" and "Jonestown: The Life and Death of the Peoples Temple"... what are some others?

    Preferably on YouTube or Netflix.

    Thanks!

  • Are you allowed to bring a purse on New Years Eve in Times Squre?

I came across an article that said bags were not allowed in Times Square "period" on New Years Eve, and that security wouldn't let you past the barricades if you had one. However, when researching it further, I found people saying both that they were allowed and that they weren't allowed on different sites. What is the official policy on bringing bags into Times Square? I assume it's subject to size, so here is my exact bag for reference:

  • How do I make a product on Cafe Press?

I'm new to designing and making products on Cafe Press. I uploaded two designs so far, but I'm not sure how you make the actual products. When I first started, I was asked what products I want available in my shop, so I chose a bunch of shirts, hats, t-shirts, and all that stuff. When I uploaded my first design, all that happened was that my design was uploaded. With my second design, the site automatically added the design to a tea light candle holder, and I'm not sure why or how it did that. I should also note that the two designs are almost exactly the same, except for what they say (both are black, with white font, meant to be put on dark clothing). How do I add these designs onto the products I want to?

Also, I'm having a recurring issue where I cannot access my shops. It did this the other day, and I haven't checked since now, and it's doing it still. I'll click to access my shops, and I get an error message saying, "We're Sorry, You've Encountered an Error!", and I know it isn't an internet issue.

    Help? Thanks:)

  • How to repair peeled-off leather?

My friend had one of those name tag stickers on her jacket when she was visiting my school, and it ended up peeling off some of the color on the jacket. Her jacket is real black leather from France, so I need to know if there is any definite and good way of repairing the jacket without risking the chance of making it worse?? No adhesive from the sticker is on the jacket still, but it did manage to take some of the black coloring off, and leave a few white specks. Help??

  • What is the name of this cartoon?

I watched a cartoon in French class today off of YouTube, and I didn't get the name of it. I'm not sure if it was a French cartoon, or if it was just put into French. The main character looked a bit like a cross between a penguin and a bear, and had a little bear friend that doesn't speak, but makes noise. In the episode, the main character's dad is washing his car and playing loud music. Inside the house, the main character is trying to wash a window, and then starts chasing the bear & spraying him with a spray bottle. Then the bear gets on a vacuum, and the two characters accidentally knock down a pot and it breaks.

What's the name of this cartoon???

  • Is there a law regarding DUI and server responsibility?

I'm writing a paper for drivers ed where I need to come up with two ideas for drunk driving that are not yet in use. One idea I had was that if a person is charged with a DUI, then whoever served them the liquor should also be penalized. For example, if someone goes to a party, and they are later found driving home drunk, then the host of the party should also be charged in some way.

I'm not looking for opinions or anything, I just want to know if there's already a law regarding this idea, because I couldn't find one.

    Thanks:)

  • What are some good things to put in a gift basket?

I'm having a Christmas party in a few months, and I'm trying to figure everything out in advance. I'm going to have at least ten girls (ages 14-15) at the party, and I want to give each of them a gift basket filled with some nice stuff. I've only really been able to come up with beauty products so far (nail polish, Bath & Body Works, etc.), and I would like to be able to put some other NON-BEAUTY gifts in the baskets as well. I don't want to just put little crappy things in there, and I only really want to put in home-made things if they're really unique or useful. Any ideas?

I'm on a bit of a budget here, so the cheaper the better.

    Thanks:)

  • What movie is the song "Janie's Got a Gun" in?

I know the song was in "Not Another Teen Movie", but this isn't where I heard the song, because I haven't even seen that whole movie. I think it was in a movie where they were doing karaoke, but I'm not sure. I feel like it could also be in an animated movie. What other movies is "Janie's Got a Gun" in????

  • Help with Cafepress...?

I'm a little confused with some of the rules for using Cafepress to sell a product. I see rules on their site that says you can't use a picture of a celebrity, but then I see people selling t-shirts or something with pictures of celebrities. A friend told me that there are certain movies, tv shows, businesses, and such that you can work with on Cafepress, without it being against the rules. I figured I'd go to the main page for movies and tv shows and see what they have listed, but I'm finding products for tv shows and movies that aren't in the lists. What exactly can or can I not do, because I'm totally confused right now? I guess what I'm asking is can I really just make a t-shirt or whatever for any show or movie?

  • What type of phobia(s) is this...?

I have a phobia of situations that I feel like I can't get out of. For example, as much as I love amusement parks, and rides, I do not like "dark rides" or rides that are in an enclosed building or such. I also don't like to be completely or almost completely surrounded by something. For example, even though I've never been around one, the green screens they use in movies totally freak me out.

I'm wondering if these phobias go hand-in-hand or not, and what they would be called or considered?

On Wikipedia, it says "Agoraphobia is the specific anxiety about being in a place or situation where escape is difficult", which makes me think this might be what my phobia is called.

  • What haunted hotel is this?

I remember watching a show on the Travel Channel when I was little... I think it was "America's Most Haunted Hotels". They showed one hotel where a young woman (dressed in red, I think, and might have been an actress or something?) jumped or was thrown over the mezzanine balcony outside her room (on the third floor?) and was found lying in the middle of the lobby. I think she had been arguing with someone, but I'm not sure. Also, I think it took place somewhere between the early 1900s and the 1940s. I've been searching and searching online, but everything I find is not the right hotel and/or story. Help? It's driving me crazy!

I specifically remember that the inside of the hotel was similar to the Grand Floridian in Florida. Like, how the hotel rooms exit out into a balcony area where you can look down into the lobby. Here's a picture for an idea of what I mean: http://0.tqn.com/d/goflorida/1/0/p/_/wdw-resort-gr...

  • How to avoid cracks forming in clay?

I bought this 10 pound box of natural clay a few months ago at Michael's, and it says on the box that the clay air drys. The last time (and only time) I used it though, I left it to dry only to find cracks in the clay. I tried wetting the areas where cracks were to fix them, but when it air-dried again, there were more cracks. What can I do to avoid cracks forming again?

  • Is there something I can use to hang up heavy pictures and wall hangings?

I have a bunch of framed 24x36 posters I want to hang up in my room, as well as some smaller wall hangings that are also pretty hefty. I just painted my room, and don't want to put holes in my walls. Is there anything I can use to hang these up without damaging the walls?? I heard about the 3M things, but I think my hangings are too heavy for those. Help? Thanks:)
