Lately, I've been hearing both positive and negative comments on Muslim women, especially coming from teens about them being oppressed, beat, stoned, being a husbands property and tortured. So, I wanted to know what you guys thought about them wearing headscarves, dressing the way they choose to dress and in general, about them?

I will be participating in the IB program at my school junior year of high school. Insh'Allah. I also wanted to take AP English and to take college courses to earn college credits, while still in high school. If I'm taking IB, am I allowed to take AP English? And since I'm doing IB, would it be difficult to do IB and take college courses?

I am planning on participating in the IB program, If I graduate with my class and I was wondering If it was harder than AP classes? Is it much work? I've heard that if you do IB, you barley have time for anything and you have to give it your 110%. I'm planning on doing it because I'm planning on going to international universities such as U of T or an ivy league school such as Columbia or NYU.

If I graduate with an IB diploma, does this increase the chance of universities accepting me?

If I graduate with an IB certificate, does this still increase the chance of being accepted or is it a lower chance compared the the IB diploma?

*I'm a minority, so I do have a higher chance of being accepted anyways.

If I graduate with my class, I'll be able to go to my local community college and earn college credits, be apart of the IB program, and bring up my GPA really high. If I apply for college, I have a higher rate of being accepted because I'm a minority.

If I graduate early, I leave school early and start college with a 4.3 GPA and 300 volunteer hours. I still have a chance of getting into colleges because I'm a minority.

Which would be the best option? I plan on taking AP English Junior year, regardless of early graduation or not.

I don't use public bathrooms at all and especially, school bathrooms. I honestly find it to be really disgusting and it just grosses me out. And the smell too! I try to hold it in, but sometimes I can't help it. I'm seriously scared to use them ever since my cousin told me about crabs at a really young age. How about you?

So one day you guys happen to talk about your past and your potential tells you that they had sexual partners in the past and they've changed, would this change anything? I use to really hate math, but I really like it a lot now; it could possibly become my favorite subject. I use to have a C in that class, now I have an A. I guess that happened because he moved my seat, I got a better view and now, it clicks in my head.

Everyone says that "ZOMG I hate my parents and I can't wait until Ieave this hell hole" and when they do turn 18, they still live in that "hell hole". So I was wondering, are you going to move out at 18 or are you going to wait? Why are you planning to move out at that age? And if you're planning on attending college, are you going to apply within state or out of state?

I'm probably not going to move out when I'm 18 because by then, I won't be able to financially support myself with bills and stuff like that. I'm probably going to save up by getting a job by 16 and stuff like that. If I did get a scholarship to my dream schools, I'd move out in a heartbeat. I'm probably not even going to bother applying within state, I hate my state.

If you don't know what IVF is, it's in in-vitro fertilization. It usually happens when a couple can't have a baby natural, they do this process. All they do is combine an egg and sperm outside the body and if it's successful, they put it inside the woman's body. Do you think that they're considered "real" babies and is it haram to do this, if you need it?

I think that they're considered real babies. It's a human egg combined with a human sperm. That's what happens without IVF too.

*I'm not pregnant or trying to either, just clarifying that!

My guidance counselor is encouraging me to take geometry over the summer, so I could get ahead of my classmates in math. I'm currently in algebra 1 and I'll be going into algebra 2 next year. The thing is that she told me that this class is remedial and it's not taught like a normal class. I'm not bad at math at all, but the thing is it's not going to cover the entire book within 7 weeks. I want to take Spanish, but it's also not going to cover much. If I take Spanish over the summer, I'll be able to earn 4 more credits than my classmates. If I take geometry, I'll be able to take Algebra one, but I won't be able to earn more credits. If I take Spanish, I can easily get a tutor and pass with an A. Which one should I take over the summer and would this help my GPA get higher? I currently have a 3.0.

My friend and I are freshmans. She has a 2.3 and I have a 3.0, but these are the quarter 2 grade point averages. She's always talking about how she'll never be able to make it to college and reach a 4.0 GPA by senior year. I told her that she does have time to kinda start over and she doesn't believe me. I do agree with her that the work is different, but she still has time. Do you think she's able to actually get to a 4.0, if she earns all A's? And is she still able to get into her dream school, UCLA?

I always try going shopping after holidays because they're usually on sale meaning more stuff to buy! I usually go to forever 21, Charlotte russe and payless. :)
