  • Tips on sharing space with significant other?

I've been living with my boyfriend for about 3 months now. Things are going pretty good except for 1 things- my boyfriend is ALWAYS home.

I love spending time with him but sometimes I really want a couple hours where i'm home alone. I didn't think this would be as much as an issue, but our schedules are totally opposite now.

He works early mornings now, starts at 3AM. So he's only gone when i'm sleeping.

I'm balancing full time work and school, so i'm pretty much gone all day. I come home for a couple hours in between and thats about it.

I feel bad because he's always excited when i get home and sometimes I just want to be alone and decompress. Have an hour where I have no other human interaction.

I've talked to him about it and he understands why I need time alone. But at the same time doesn't get it and still wants to do absolutel everything together.

The other day I got excited because he wanted to go to buy video games. But since I didn't want to go with him he decided he'd go when I left. Cause he likes being home with me.

i feel like im just rambling now. But does anyone ever get frustrated over this? I feel bad.

Does it just take awhile to get use to?Have any tips?

My boyfriend is a great guy, and this is a me thing. but sometimes he's so overly attentive it gets annoying.

  • what to do about roommate avoiding me?

My roommate is a terrible communicator and I am way to nice. She had one main rule when i moved in that i've followed. and I had one main rule: communicate any problems.

Whenever there's an issue she avoids the apartment. I think she hopes if she ignores it, it will go away. IDK. The first time I wanted to talk about cleaning. Her dishes piled up for a week & i'm understanding of busyness but I know if I did that, she would get mad.

When we talked, she told me she had been avoiding me & that's why her dishes piled up. She thought I had drama to talk about, though I was very clear when telling her I wanted to talk: that i wasn't upset, I had somethin quick & easy to bring up.

Well she's avoiding me again. I do try to give the benefit of the doubt but I know she is, the same tension I felt before is there.

I hate it. It makes me feel like **** because I don't know what I do. &she won't tell me. I'm trying to focus on me & not care that she's doing this. I mean hey i have a whole apartment to myself.but it sucks being the reason your roommate/friend won't come home, & you don't even know what you did.

So far i've made her mad doing the dishes (she wants to clean her own mess) and asking her to quiet down (not stop) a party once it hit 5am. I think maybe i embarrassed her in front of her friends. Or i'm annoying her by asking if she wants to hang out, since we dont anymore since i moved in.

What would you do? how do you stop caring your being avoided?

  • do all guys suck at communicating via phone?

So my boyfriend moved about a few cities away. I know long distance relationships are hard but he was so persistent about wanting to be with me i decided to give it a try. The only issue I really have is that he barely texts or calls me. When he does call me it's awesome we can talk about anything for hours. When i visited him it was great and he's super sweet. I totally trust him, that's not an issue at all. but it bugs me he rarely texts me back or calls unless I tell him to.i don't want to be a demanding girlfriend, I want him to want to talk to me. Are most guys like this?

When he was in town he hardly texted me either but it wasnt a big deal because I would still see him at school and be able to make plans later- i know he's not a phone guy. But with the distance, ive made it clear i need more communication via phone/email whatever since he hates FB and doesn't use it. i'm extremely frustrated right now because his cell phone is out of service. I've spent the last few days thinking to myself, i'm not going to text or call him. I'm going to wait for him to text me. And he doesn't even know. Plus i don't understand why he can't find a way to get in contact with me and tell me he isn't going to have a phone for a bit. Is this to much to ask? Or am i overreacting.. his phone went out of service once before so it's not like he doesn't know it doesn't bother me. i feel like fb his brother to tell my bf im annoyed with him. but i don't want to be rash or dramatic.

  • do you think my foot is bruised or sprained?

I injured my foot 2 days ago and i'm trying to figure out if my foot is sprained or just badly bruised. It happened while bar hopping & I'm not exactly sure how i hurt it. I think someone stepped on my foot. Anyways I woke up the next day and my foot was extremely swollen and the right half of my foot was extremely bruised/discolored & my pinky swollen. It really hurt to apply any pressure to my foot and my toes slightly hurt to wiggle as well. I put it up soon as i got home and iced it hard core. By the next day the swelling had gone down immensely and I could stand with mild discomfort, though still hobbling around. Today the bruise isn't as dark but still looks gross, my foots slighly swollen. I've got a pimp walk and theres a small lump on the right side of my foot. I can't afford to go to the doctor until friday and am wondering if anyone has recommendations on what to do for it? If they think its bruised/sprained. I'm kinda thinking it's just bruised. I've been mostly sitting and icing my foot since it happened, while walking around just a bit in my home

  • where to find a boyfriend?

I'm in my 20's and all I do is go to work, home and kick it with the same few friends. I go out to the bars sometimes but I really never meet anyone new. I'm not desperate but am getting a bit lonely and want to meet some guys. Where do you find men? Or how do you get them to ask you out? I wish it was more appropriate to go up to a guy in a grocery store haha.

  • does schizophrenia develop randomly?

My cousin has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I'm having a hard time coping with this, as she's one of my best friends. We're the same age (21) and grew up together. I guess i'm having a hard time because it just came out of nowhere, happened so randomly, that I feel it could still be something else. Plus just a lot of heresay from family members (it's a lot to get into). I've done some research and have read that this is the age range that it comes out. but I also read a lot of things that say people show symptoms during childhood, that don't fully develop until our age. So I guess i just need some opinions, does it happen randomly, just come out of no where?

  • help me find a haircut?

I was wondering if anyone can help me pick out a good haircut/style. I'm almost 22 and my hair is about shoulder length. my bangs hit my nose when straight. I have wavyish hair and I tend to straighten it most of the time. I want something kind of edgy but not extreme attention grabbing, like a 6.5/10 is the highest ago when it comes to attracting attention lol. I like punkier kind of styles but I'm open to something classier or just different. Any help is appreciated thank you, i'm not very good at judging what would look good on me. I've included a couple pics of myself to hopefully help

I don't drink all the time, mostly when my friends wanna go out and I have time. And i've never really got to drink before. But now that i'm 21 it's a bit more appealing buying and trying new beers/liquors etc. Lately, if i've got nothin goin on in the evening I like to drink 2-3 beers, watch tv, just chill out. Get a bit of a buzz idk, it's something to do. is that alcoholicy?

  • basic sewing machine?

I'm looking to get my roommate a sewing machine for Christmas. I don't know much about them and was wondering if anyone could suggest one to get. She likes to do most of her sewing my hand but i've heard her mention many times she wants to get a small basic sewing machine to help with projects or when in a time crunch. I think mostly for secure stitching or something, I'm sorry thats not very descriptive/helpful. I'd ask her more about it but she'd find it odd of me to bring it up.

  • Recommend inexpensive digital camera?

I'm 20 yrs old and looking to buy a digital camera. I've never owned a camera (grew up poor) and know absolutely nothing about the different specifications. I keep reading reviews on amazon but most of the reviewers are either buying it for their elementary school kid who love it, (they probably have lower standards than me) or they're avid photograph takers ( have higer standards) and complain about things I'm not sure I would bother me. What i'm looking for in a camera is: cheap (under 150 preferably around/under 100) and takes decent photos. I mostly just want to wander around town, take random photos and see if it turns into a hobby. Be able to take fun photos of friends and upload stuff to facebook. I live in Western Washington & there's a ton of parks and beautiful scenery.. can anyone recommend me a camera

  • Guy tried to cheat on his girlfriend with me?

this guy i've been friends with for awhile tried to get with me last night. I didnt let him do anything, because I believe cheating is just not ok (he has a girlfriend). I feel like he's completely untrustable after that. Is that a good reason to stop being friends with him? And should I tell his girlfriend? Part of me feels I should just not talk to him anymore and leave it be bcuz its their relationship... But she's very into them, they plan on moving in together in a couple months etc

  • Take out/hide snake bite piercing?

Hey I want to get snake bites but my work doesn't allow facial piercings. They will sometimes let you put clear rings in so it's not so noticable. I was wondering if they have clear studs for that piercing and how noticable it is with them in? and/or if you can easily take them out/put them in and not have it close in a 8hr period
