They recommended he see a chiropractor? Will car insurance even pay for that because it was the other fellows fault and I don't see how a chiropractor would be covered when most people's health insurance says they don't pay for them?

Ok My girlfriends kid had some medical needs and we paid for them a few years ago and forgot to sue her ex for half. Child support was paid up and arrears paid off- so the state he lives in closed the case and our state now closed the case yesterday.

Can we re-open the case in anyway to get medical bills paid?

Ok my Brother BUT only owed arrears ( Child grown- order over in 2012) He was paying 200 a month for the past year plus sending in extra money when he could. Custodial EX is in another state that always had the order that said in 2014 January he owed arrears of 900 dollars..Letter of OFFSET was sent from that state I think to the IRS and they took the 900 out of his tax refund last month!

His whole tax refund was over 4000 dollars btw and he did NOT file anything else to stop them from taking more money- he wants this PAID OFF!

Now he is out of work the past few weeks and gets a letter today saying he is 2000 in Arrears??????

This letter looks legit ( but his ex would send a fake so who knows?) it is very threatening saying he needs to send in payments again of 200 a month arrears to pay on the 2000 dollars he owe and give all his work information within 20 days or a warrant will be issued?

Why would her state say he owes 900 , his state says he owes 2000 and what happened to the 1000 dollar offset?

Why would IRS take an odd amount 910 dollars to be exact and not the entire 2000? He has received nothing saying she filed for money for any bills or there were any other fees at all ????

If this GOVERNMENT system was meant to help people - I sure don't understand how? Now I know he can pay out of the balance of the tax return - but should he get some type of audit to verity he even owes this money first? How does he do that?

If he pays it and does not owe it- I fear they will not refund it. He did overpay back in 2007( about 7000 dollars was overpaid to her)- she refused to negotiate and he had to spend way to many hours in the Child support office to get them to give him credit! UGH!

If The United States of America defaults on its bills this could impact our children and grandchildren WAY MORE THAN THE DEBT! Who are RICH REPUBLICANS trying to kid here???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I saw some at yard sales and was wondering if weight or brand name or what what should i look for?

My friend is 21 and on seizure meds and anti depressants. he wants to move out from his parents home. His mom is very controlling and won't let him. He has a lot of trouble with his thoughts and get overwhelmed easily but he is sick of living with his parents and very miserable.

He wanted to go away to a college that he picked out that was very reasonable price and it had a dorm- his mom who is rich would not even consider it- She said he can't make it on his on!

What advice should I give him?

My friends mom won't help him get his life together and he is miserable. I know you might say - stop whining and do it on your own! He is 21. He has an account ( his mom is custodian) of 7000. dollars.

But he lives in a very nice house with his parents miles from town and he takes lots of medications for seizures and depression and back injuries from an accident.But he wanted to get his license, buy a car and move away from his parents!

He didn't have a seizure for 3 months so when he came to my home ( his parents drove him) we were sneaky and took him to get his drivers license. He passed the test and then the next day they took him home. He told them and they did not like it at all but did let him drive one of their cars. He got in an accident which was his fault!

Now of course his parents HATE us and he is being told he will never ever be allowed to drive!!!! He is very depressed. He told his mom he wishes he was dead. She threatened to send him to a a psych ward and then a home for disabled and people with severe mental disorders!

He really is a bright kid and it is hard to know if the medications he takes make his thoughts slow or

if he is someone who is just so messed up he can not function on his own? His mom is really weird with ( what she calls ) ocd but we think she is very controlling and definitely verbally abusive! She takes fits if he refuses to take his meds because of all the side effects!!She has a ton of money and could easily send him away to college ( which is something he really wanted) but she refused to even look at schools and told him he would never be able to make it ( without her of course!) So this situation is sad and she even owns a whole freaking apt building and could rent him an apartment- again she would rather keep him miserable with her! She put her other son away and he lives now on the street and they do not try to help him at all. So I think my friend worries he could end up like his brother if he fights them too much!

What should I tell him to do????? Also if she is the custodian of the money- can she have him arrested for trying to use some to get an apt or take it all away from him???

They still have a lot of bigotry tied to them. One of there leaders is on the View today defending their actions and she stated they are not racist but isn't that kind of what the KKK did also?

Publicly deny- then run around in sheets at night? At their rallies there are MANY known bigots and some carry awful signs with racist pics- yet when they speak on TV they deny affiliation with these people?

They need these people to keep their movement going and i am not suggesting the KKK is the tea party movement but when you allow people to incite hate....... We all know what can happen!!!

First I would retire (again) and keep doing my list of daily chores like I do now. i love flea markets so i would keep going and maybe open a stand or 2. Maybe not really for profit-just to break even and give people good deals. Maybe a sum to a good charity. Take a month to travel and maybe buy a vacation home somewhere.But i would make a real effort not to change much. How about you?
