I put the phone down momentarily , someone texted me, also a missed call... But where is the email I started? ( over an hour composing it... I'm stressed)

I started a small business after selling my childcare centres.... I offer daycares and Montessori schools both consulting and staffing services (supply and permanent staff). Initially, I called the business RELIEF Staffing and Consulting Services...but now that push comes to shove and I need to make decisions (i.e.. web site etc...) I'm re-thinking the name.

Any other suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Is it unreasonable for me to expect my 6 year old daughter to spend an hour or an hour and a half (max) playing independently or being on her own within our home? (example....if i wanted to lock my bathroom door and take a long bath then read a few minutes....) She ALWAYS wants to be with me.......and there are times I just need a break... What are your thoughts? Mean mommy?

She struggles financially b/c the gov't pays her aprox $1000 a month....she can work at times (maybe 20 hours a week)....when the attacks hit....its impossible to move...literally....she would like to earn money however if she does get a p/t job...those funds will be deducted from her monthly cheque....does anyone have any suggestions as to HOW she can get ahead in life (without being fraudulent...work for cash??)

Her strength/interest is cooking/ cooking teacher.....any suggestions?? OR how can she get more financial assistance??

I have a neighbour in her 70's....she convinced herself last year at some point that I had an affair with her husband. We are a close knit neighbourhood...everyone knows everyone.....she takes every opportunity to call me names (bit%h etc).

I've ignored her because she is not 100% mentally...but now it's getting out of hand and she's acting this way in front of my children who are 5 and 10 and disturbed about the whole thing.

I don't know if she's doing it for attention....I'm at a loss....

Even though I know she's not mentaly stable....It still hurts everytime she acts this way.

Does anyone have any ideas....tonight we are all planning to get together to do fire works and I'm afraid she's going to make yet another scene....I'm tired of being the bigger person and walking away....I think she continues to act like that b/c she knows she can...and no one ever says anything to her out of respect for her husband who is a friendly italian guy that knows and helps all the neighbours (cuts their grass or supervises the kids at the bus stop....a real nice man that everyone loves and respects).

My parents.....are getting divorced...currently selling their house....my dad...decides to show up at my house at 8am this morning...cat in hand....litter box food etc....he says "this cat is driving us nuts b/c we have people coming for open house's almost every day...." What is your opinion on employers/applicants using video resumes?

I went to a staffing agency that hires daycare staff (they don't charge anything to applicants...they charge the daycare centre).

They offer free video resumes....they tape a 5 minute clip of our interview then edit it and send it to Centres.....they had me sign a release form saying that the video will only be used for employment purposes and that the video becomes their property....is this normal/typical??

I think it's a great idea....what do other people think of video resumes?
