  • Who are the top 5 "Celebrities" you wouldn't mind if they dissapeared from the Screens, for ever?

There are a few "Celebrities" out there who have been around for a while, who truthfully have not Entertained, or amused me with their last or current projects. There is so much good New Talent out there, but they (Hollywood) keep throwing these people in our faces. My opinion is that these "Celebrities" should be happy and thankful that they had their chance to entertain us, and they made their millions, so now they should step aside and let someone else have a shot at Stardom. Go spend your Millions and let us see what else is out there.

    My Lists

    Male:

    1) Ted O'Neill

    2) Jay Leno

    3) Tom Hanks

    4) Tom Cruise

    5) Rob Lowe

    Female:

    1) Whoopi Goldberg

    2) Debra Messing

    3) Nichole Kidman

    4) Christina Applegate

    5) Diane Keaton

I have been watching the video on Yahoo Music all week, and listening to it on my car radio. It is wonderful to see the enormous influence one person can have over the generations, with his wonderful talent.

  • Is it Selfish to claim that Humans are the Only intelligent beings that exist in the entire Universe?

But now the light on the motor piece wont go off. If anyone has any tips, or advice, I would appreciate them!

  • Why is Yosemite NP so "exclusive"?

I have been trying to reserve a camping spot at YNP, and I am not very hopeful that I will be able to get any reasonable rates for a basic camping site for my family.

We were hoping we could go this Summer and experience nature, and all the Amazing things we have heard about this place. So far their web site is targeted to the wealthy, they profile their "fine wine, and cuisine" packages, their sophisticated accommodations, and it just does not sound at all like they want regular people like my family visiting. Why not call it Yosemite Resort and Spa. I am very disappointed and I am very sure that John Muir would be too, he is probably turning in his grave right now.

  • Street Vibrations Motorcycle Fest in Reno, NV, any one concearned?

Due to the recent murder of the San Francisco Hell's Angels chapter leader, the whole biker culture is uneasy right now. I live in Reno, NV, and will not attend this year's Street Vibrations Motorcycle Fest which kicks off tomorrow. I have been going for about 5 years, even though I am not a biker, my husband rides Honda Sports bikes, and he probably will attend. I do not want to be caught in the "fire" if all Hell breaks loose between the Hell's and Monguls like it did a few years back in Henderson. I hope that nothing bad happens to any one, especially innocent people who will attend the Festival.

  • Does John McCain believe that the Presidency is owed to him?

Did he go to war out of love for his country? If he did, then why does he keep making it seem like a Sacrifice that must be acknowledged and compensated? Many men, and women have gone to war for this country, but McCain is claiming that is Sacrifice was much greater than any others, and he must be revered compensated for it. Soldiers who served UNCONDITIONALLY for this country are true Patriots not McCain.

  • Is there, or was there ever a Casino/Resort in Las Vegas, called The Reserve.?

I went to Las Vegas in 1999, with my husban's family. His aunt who lives in Las Vegas took us to a place called The Reseve, it had a Safari theme and a big international buffet. Unfortunately my husband does not remenber where it is, and we don't want to bother his aunt because her health is not very good these days. We have two kids now and I know they would love the Safari theme at The Reserve. I have been looking for it all over the web, but I get no leads. We think maybe the name changed. We are planning to visit LV soon, and I would love it if we could get any leads.

    Thank you!

  • Have you fallen in love with Scarlet Johansson's Falling Down song?

I listened to it this morning, and saw the video. It is great! I love it, love it, love it! I have listened to it all day, I have memorized the lyrics, I can't get it out of my mind! It is so fresh and unlike anyything out there. There is no one out there that I can compare her style to. I am anxiously waiting for the release of her CD on May 20th.

I haven't seen al of her movies, but I now have a great interest in her talent.

I am her biggest newest Fan #1.

I just happen to have re-discovered Timbaland. For a while now Timbaland has been producing some very catchy songs. I love them all. I love all his recent stuff; Nelly, Justin etc...

And he is not bad looking either, has any one else noticed the GUNS on that Man? Even me a wife and mother of a few, cannot help but notice how cute he is. He is like a big huggable Teddy-Bear! I want to see and hear more from Timbaland. What do you like the best about Timbaland?

  • What is your opinion on people who mispronounce their own names. Trying to make them sound more "American"

I set up a job interview yesterday. The man I would be interviewing with had a strange name (I thought). When I went in today he introduced him self and gave me his "real" name. He was hispanic, like my self, so I picked up on his ERROR right away. The add called for a bilingual person, being a bilingual person...I applied for the job. When I picked up on the man's dis-respect for our culture, I immediately predicted how the rest of our meeting would go. Yes he was one of those "book smart" pompus idiot's who think they have reached a point in their life where they can morph into some one else.

People of different cultures mis-pronounce and mis-spell my name all the time, but I don't make a big deal about it. I know I have "butchered" a few foreing names my self. I accept that this happens very often with people of my culture... my own sister does it.

I belive it's up to every one to promote their own cultural values, and be proud of who they are.

    I love the U.S.A!

  • How can we "Keep Tahoe Blue"?

Lake Tahoe is one of the most pristine lakes in the World.

The recent, on-going Angora fire in South Lake Tahoe, has burned so much.

What is going to happen to all the ashes and debris?

Will all that debris remain on the ground, or does it get picked-up?

Are there environmental, clean-ups, immediately after wild/forest fires?

I am concerned that all that debris will run into the lake during the next rainy season, and contaminate it.

    -What can I do?

    -Volunteer? -Yes!!!

  • Should "Environment Awareness Education" be a part of our national school curriculum?

Has there ever been any attemps by any oranization, to "recomend" any such idea to the Government?

-I say we drop P.E, and replace it with E.A.E "Environment Awarness Education"

-Have the kids "exercise" by having them clean up trash around town, by planting trees around town, by volunteering at the local recycling centers, and by restoring and mainting our parks clean.

    -It makes sense to me!

-If there is such a thing out there..... sign me up!
