the latest "upgrade" to yahoo mail is absolutely horrible!

how do they seal off a garage door for a conversion without removing the garage? we would want to still have the appearance of a garage and the option to relatively easily go back to using the garage door if a new owner chose to do so. our garage does not form a tight seal along the sides so there is a big draft. it also does not form a seal along the bottom. i assume you add in framework, put insulation in and drywall it... but how is the framework protected from rot?

We are going to see a concert at Carnegie Hall the night before Thanksgiving (Wednesday). We are coming from PA (Harrisburg) and cannot spend the night. What is our best bet for travel? Is there a good place to drive to and then get on the train into Manhattan?

when crocheting with stretch yarn, should i keep the working yard taught or loose, in order to have the most stretch possible in the finished piece?

I have a bag of tri color mini potatoes I need to use. I would also like to use up a bunch of leftover sloppy joe meat. Looking for a good recipe that will use these together. i made gravy yesterday with a little of the fat from a roasting pan with chicken roasting, and the broth from boiling the gizzard, etc. the gravy is now refrigerated. i'm going to make more gravy tonight with the rest of the fat that is left in the roasting pan and and some broth i'll make with a mix. can i mix the 2 gravies together, or will there be a consistency issue? if so, should i make the new gravy first and add the original to it, or start with the first gravy and add to it?

if i download an excel form from a website, i extracted the files... what do i have to do to be able to add my information into the cells?

just curious. i get up on a stool and clear everything and wash it down 3 or 4 times a year but it still looks disgusting like i never did it when i get up there to do it again.

how can i use glow in the dark paint outdoors? i want to do a project and let my kids paint rocks with glow in the dark paint for the garden. the stores only carry glow paint that says indoors only. can i coat them with something over the glow paint that will still allow the rocks to glow while protecting it from washing off?

if i have coconut oil that went rancid (temperatures rose into the 100's in our house and it went bad) can i still use it in soap? i've only made one batch of soap so far, and while it went very well - if this one didn't i don't have enough experience to know if it was the oil or another mistake i might make. thanks!

I'm looking for new kitchen canisters that have a tight seal for flours and sugars, but I want lime green. My stoneware canisters are nice but I want lids with a tight seal. Since they are impossible to find in lime green, I'm considering buying canisters I like that I can paint the color I want. What material that canisters come in would be easiest to paint?

we have a pretty big blow up pool (non-filtered) that the kids are now using daily since it's in the 90's and we have no a/c. i've read before about using baking soda in pools, but i think that was in conjunction with chlorine, etc in a filtered pool system. what can we do to try to make the water last longer since we can't afford to run up our water bill filling this thing with new water every single day.

i recently bought a peg perego high chair at a yard sale (nanna and pappa model) to use at grandpa's house... and i can't figure out how to open the darn thing! it's folded up as you would when not in use.. and i can't figure out how to release the thing so i can unfold it. please help!
