  • how to convert garage - garage door to remain in tact?

how do they seal off a garage door for a conversion without removing the garage? we would want to still have the appearance of a garage and the option to relatively easily go back to using the garage door if a new owner chose to do so. our garage does not form a tight seal along the sides so there is a big draft. it also does not form a seal along the bottom. i assume you add in framework, put insulation in and drywall it... but how is the framework protected from rot?

  • recipe to use leftover sloppy joe and potatoes?

I have a bag of tri color mini potatoes I need to use. I would also like to use up a bunch of leftover sloppy joe meat. Looking for a good recipe that will use these together. These are fancy little potatoes that I don't NOT want to make mashed potatoes out of. I want something where the potatoes will be sliced or diced and maintain their nice texture.

  • can i mix gravy into additional new gravy?

i made gravy yesterday with a little of the fat from a roasting pan with chicken roasting, and the broth from boiling the gizzard, etc. the gravy is now refrigerated. i'm going to make more gravy tonight with the rest of the fat that is left in the roasting pan and and some broth i'll make with a mix. can i mix the 2 gravies together, or will there be a consistency issue? if so, should i make the new gravy first and add the original to it, or start with the first gravy and add to it?

  • how to choose a surrogacy agency?

I am beginning to seriously consider being a surrogate mother. I have always liked the idea but now that I am done having my own children, it has become a legitimate option. All of the articles I find just say to check backround info on the agency before applying, but I'm not sure where to start.

  • can baking soda keep baby pool water clean?

we have a pretty big blow up pool (non-filtered) that the kids are now using daily since it's in the 90's and we have no a/c. i've read before about using baking soda in pools, but i think that was in conjunction with chlorine, etc in a filtered pool system. what can we do to try to make the water last longer since we can't afford to run up our water bill filling this thing with new water every single day.
