Its not common for me to have a normal dream, but here goes.

Im in my front yard and I randomly find a small silver-haired bat in my lawn. There was a rat looking thing trying to kill it so I took the bat out of the lawn. As of this point, the bat stuck with me for the rest of the dream. There was even one point where I accidentally knocked unconscious for a few minutes. Later on, I was at my computer playing a game that looked alot like Just Cause 2. At this point, I found a 2nd bat in my room. The only reason i even knew it was there was because the bat that I had found originally had found the 2nd bat and crawled over to it. This 2nd bat is a flying fox and never leaves my room. I then get some friends to go somewhere, and I find a bus, and drive it with everyone in it to some giant hotel, where I discover elevator that goes from floors 1-4 but only lets people in/out at floor 1 and 4. If you try to get out at floors 2 or 3, the doors crush you. However, my bat is on floor 3 somehow, so I spent the remainder of the time trying to reach floor 3. Somehow, I got into floor 3 by going around the back and through an air vent. It was some sort of storage room with lots of items and shiny objects and mirrors. Later on, I take the bus I "borrowed" and went home, where the bat that I had found took my to my room and showed me that I have a secret compartment under my bed, where I discover a giant coin sorting machine.

I would LOL and admit that I was wrong about being an atheist. What would you do?

I was wondering how many of you actually know how evolution works and the mechanics behind it. If you do, state your evidence as an answer, and we will see.

this is the 2nd time I am posting this question, as I got no good answers last time.

I can honestly say that I have completely lost count of me having dreams about these giant bats.

I have had dreams with giant bats since 2008 and I have them at least once a week. And they never get old.

It is very rare that the dreams are the same, but they are almost always unique, and almost ALWAYS involve a giant bat of some sort..

Usually there will only be one giant bat in the entire dream. Just one. On RARE occasion, two bats, maybe 3.

They can talk, think, ect.

It is very rare, but possible for one of these bats to actually kill someone, however they have never once actually attacked me.

There is a huge variety of them. But most of the time it will be one specific bat.

They do have names (They tell me they're names sometimes, if I ask them.)

I can ride them and stuff, sometimes I can actually become a giant bat in my dream.

I have noticed that I seem to be the only one that keeps having these bats in dreams.

I have also noticed that I can "Talk" to them, and they will react in realistic ways to things happening around them. They actually tell me things I never knew.

If a certain bat is "killed" in a dream, I never see them again. (Sometimes, however, some bats will just re-appear in future dreams. This is rare.)

And if a particular bat has appeared in an earlier dream, and then re-appears in another dream, they will remember everything that has happened to them prior to this dream, even though I myself cannot.

I have absolutely no idea why this is happening, but it happens all the time.

In almost every single dream I had since 2008, these bats were in it.

I think I am going insane. I really do. I can freaking talk to them... I am at the point where I can not only name every bat, but i can completely describe they're character and how they react to things.

What the hell is happening?

This is Absolutely abusrd, I know how dreams work, and my mind is subconsciously giving me these messages. Yet, the bats will tell me things that I myself could swear that I never knew.

I want to know if anyone has ever experienced a similar situation.

I would also like to know why there is ALWAYS these giant bats in my dreams.

Can anyone at least attempt to explain why this is happening?

We humans have achieved knowledge. We have built machines, airships, automobiles, cities, computers, space shuttles, mars probes, medicine, we have been on the moon, we have found cures for disease, we have expanded our life expectancy, we have constructed artificial mountains, we have split the atom, we have figured out how the sun works, we have unlocked the mechanics of life... and much more.

What has religion done for us? It has brought us war, genocide, false hope, suffering, destruction, and much more.

I asked this question again, because all of you ignored it the first time.

Atheism is the lack of a belief in a god. God doesn't belive in a god, because according to him, there is no power greater than him.

A random, stupid question, I know, but I really would like to hear a theistic reply for this.

Today, I have been yelled at by some woman at a Wall Mart for explaining how evolution worked to one of my friends... over the phone.

She called me a "Spawn of the devil" and that I "Deserved to burn in hell"

Now, I thought this was absolutely hilarious. But right now, I want to know... why do alot of, NOT ALL, people, especially of Christian faith, become so butt-hurt whenever someone doesn't think like they do?

This lady basically raged at me because I don't agree with her views? What the hell? Why do we Atheists have to put up with this? its funny at first but it becomes annoying.

Sometimes, I feel that if I dove off of a building that I would actually fly. Perhaps with large chiropteran style wings?

Sounds crazy and absurd, I am aware of this. No, I am not planning to jump off of anything to end myself, because that is simply illogical.

I just want to know if anyone else has had this feeling, and why.

I have had absolutely countless dreams of me being a very large bat, and flying across the sky, over all sorts of thing. Sometimes I am flying over the ocean, other times over fields and forests, sometimes through a city, and on rare occasion, through the destroyed and burning remains of cities and battlefields.

However, this dream was different...

Im flying through clouds in the early hours of the morning, just as the sun is about to rise. This is common, but what happened after about an hour of flying was very unusual. For the first time, my wings burst into flames, burning and melting away, sending me spiraling to the ground. I try to recover but I realize that it is futile, and I continue to spiral out of the sky, on fire. It seemed as if I was falling for a long time, but just before I hit the ground, I woke up...

Why?

I had a short but wierd dream where I found one of those bendy buses, and then I stole it and drove around in it. Then I did skids and drifts in it and it drifted like crazy! The rear half of the bus went all crazy when I would do a drift. Then I went to my friends house and he got on the bus and sat in the very back and I did more drifts and he got flung from side to side. Then I drove the bus and I accidentaly broke it in half, so I only had half of a bendy bus that I eventualy crashed into a wall, killing myself and thus ending the dream... Interperate please?

This would be great fun as the regular bendy buses where I live don't make accordion noises...

Anyone else have wierd things like this happen?

Its from Team America, world police. Great movie, very funny. It has this song called everyone has aids, and it was hysterical.

pretty short. Its night the whole dream, and i am in some kind of wasteland or desert. I find a building and go to it. Its a hotel of some kind. There is a guy behind the desk with a short beard and he looks like a redneck. i get a room to stay there. Befor i fall asleep in the dream, something causes me to get out of the bed and go investigate the area. So I do. first i go into the lobby. its empty because everyone is asleep. I look behind the lobby desk and find LOTS of guns. Mostly shotguns and hunting rifles. Then i go through a door and find a trail of blood. I follow the blood down a hall and through a door. It lead to a wooden garage. There was an old, rusty pickup truck (the kind of thing rednecks would drive) and the blood trail leads to it. I go to the truck and look in the back. There is a machine gun mounted to it ad in the back there is the strangest (and creepiest) thing ive ever seen in a dream. It was a decapitated head of a giant bat. It looked like it was at one point grey or white, but the fur was mixed with the blood from it. there was blood all oer the back of the truck. blood was coming out of the bat's nose and mouth and also out of where its neck once was. where the head was attatched there was a splintered bone sticking out. The eyes were something that got me. They were black (bats have black eyes) and they were open. it was looking like it was staring at me, and it had a look in them that was so strange. Like this innocent yet accused of something look. Also, the whole head was about the size of medium sized television. I would have had to hold out both arms like a forklift if i had to carry it. Then i turn around and guess who I meat, the guy from the desk, holding a shotgun and aiming it at me. Dream ends.... WHAT THE HELL ALERT!!!!

Also something to take note of when awnsering:

GIant bats like these are extremely common in my dreams. I will often find myself riding on one or being one. Why did i all of the sudden find a decapitated one in the back of a truck?
