i have a wooden front door with a small pane of glass in middle which i think people refer to it as bullseye glass ( circle shape). i have just painted the door but the glass has cracked on it. does anyone know if this small bullseye glass can be replaced as the door is lovely and it would be a shame to have to buy a new one.

as silly as it seems, but the only buffalo i know of is the big animal and they dont have wings ! anyone know what buffalo wings are when seen on a menu ?

my front double glazed window has a hole in it about the size of a tennis ball but it is only on the outside pane. im trying to find out if i would need to replace the whole window which is approx 8 ft wide by 6ft high which also entails 2 small windows up top, or can i just get a replacement window pane. also if anyone has a idea of price. thanks.

Mondeo tddi. Loads of grey smoke when started up and wont stop untill car is moving. I know all diesal cars can have a bit of smoke when starting but this is not right. I had egr valve checked yesterday as it can be a little hesitant at times and thought the smoke might have something to do with that. The man in the garage said it was fine. Any ideas ? It is a 2 litre.

i have a 2001 mondeo TDDI estate. The flywheel needs to be replaced. I have been told it is better to get a kit - flywheel and clutch kit ? I am looking on ebay and there is so many kits out there and i don't know which one i would need for my car. Does mine have a dual mass or solid flywheel.? Please someone give me advice

I have a mondeo with locking problems. The only button that works on the fob key is the open button. When this is pressed, the 4 doors open, and also the windows ??. The boot remains closed - being an estate it has no key lock on it. It will open manually, but most of the time only the drivers door. After about 10 mins into a journey, the rest of the doors will open, including the boot. Recently, it has also decided it will lock me in as i am driving ! Locking up, manually all the doors will lock. Anyone Got a clue as to what is wrong with this - any idea on a price ?? Bought the car so as to put the dog in the boot, and so this is very inconveinient when the boot won't open.

I have been having trouble with my mondeo. It wouldn't start a month ago, so i had a new starter put on it, but was told the flywheel is on its way out. I know that bits can fall from the flywheel onto the clutch and this is the next thing that would need to be replaced. The car decided yesterday it didn't want to start again, so i am trying to find out if a clutch kit contains a flywheel in it or do i have to buy them seperate, and at what cost. Can anyone give me some advice on this. Thanks in advance for your answers

I have a ford radio ( mondeo ). It had the battery disconnected and hence the radio lost the code. I have the code which is 9150. I tried to put it in how the boyfriend thought it had to be done but the radio went off half way through the code. How is this done properley - does anyone know or have a ford themselves. ?

i bought a 2.0 tddi lx 51 plate about 2 months ago. I have problems with the central locking, and now it won't start. I had a guy advise me last night that a tooth might be broken and seeing as there is about 300 teeth on it, the likely hood of it happenng again is slim. Try to start this morning - no start. I rocked it back and for , and after 4 attemps it started - quite hard to rock back and for when you live on a hill !!. I don't want to have to do this a few times everyday incase it ends up flooding the engine or if the whinning noise is it rubbing up against something else. Can anyone advise me on a price of a seconhand starter motor if they have had this problem. Also, is central locking a common fault ?

i have had my sim card through the post, and to get it started i have either got to top up by debit card or get a voucher. I went to the shop and asked for a giffgaff top up, and they said they do vouchers but not that - are they available or is it just any network voucher ?? I want to get started with my sim so can anyone help me in what i need to ask for at a shop.

i had my kitchen tiled, and there was a box and half of tiles left so i thought i would have my downstairs toilet done. As it turns out, i am 1 tile short ! rather than buy just the 1 tile, i have a extension from the kitchen which i thought i could do in the same tiles but am unsure how many boxes to get. There is 6 to a sq/m, and the porch has a area of 2.29 sq/m, plus i need the 1 for the toilet. will i have to get 3 boxes and have quite alot left ?

I am thinking about buying a 2001 mondeo tdi estate. Does anyone know if it has a timing chain or belt ? Also anyone know roughly what the insurance would be - i have 3 years no claims. I was paying £39 with aviva for my clio, is it likely to be alot more than this only im looking at the car tonight and the aviva website isn't back on till tonight and there offices are closed aswell.
