in my database i have created a procedure that initialize the sequence, so if my current value is 5, and I used 10 times NEXTVAL, but i did not commit, the sequence initializer will reset it to 5.

my problem is if 2 packages call this sequence initialization simultaneously, how can i prevent the "Unique Constraints" error from oracle.

so what I want is, how can i allow, (or maybe prevent by adding some constraints) two procedure from reseting the sequence at the same time and thus using the same value for a primary key ?

the job is oracle database integration, it is not DBA, DataBase Administrator.

the only problem i have is when downloading installous, i get an error msg saying i must have an os greater then 3.0.

is there any way to download installous on firmware 3.0.

if not i want to upgrade it, can someone tell me how to upgrade to 3.1.3, how to re-unlocked it and how to re-jailbreak it ??

then some sites like youtube or facebook do not open, is there a way to bypass the firewall.

hello, i have an hp pavilion dv7.

above the keyboards is a touch-pad for the volume, play/pause, and the wireless turn on/off button....

the sound button is working,but it is not changing Color, it should turn to orange when mute, but it doesn't.

the wireless button is always orange"turned off" even when i touch it.

is it a driver problem? if yes how can i find the appropriate driver.

or i should enable the wireless from somewhere?

any help plllllzzzz!!!
