Why is this? Every time i click sign in it just sends me to the home menu. Maybe they are fixing the site?

Just finished playing zombies on black ops and my screen turned black thinking it froze so i restarted it and the game and any other game wont show up on the screen to click i ejected the disk and put it back it but it made this sound. not sure what to do.
