13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoWhat is the best way to correct an action my dog did?
I was outside playing fetch with my dog when my friend arrived so I can help drive a car that was repaired back to his place.
My dog knows him and the car well (she associates it with her going over his place to play with his dogs). First she wouldn't come to the house when called so I grabbed the leash and waved it from the door, she came running in to get leashed to go with us. I then quickly bolted out the door (with an excessive amount of barking on her end - more than normal)
When I came home 3 hours later I found out she chewed up a bunch of tiles from one of my games (first and only time she has done that) and I shouted and waved the chewed tiles at her and that was it.
Was that an appropriate response or should I of done things differently.
Thanks.

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhat happens to reported answers to a reported question?
I have had a few answers get flagged then while waiting for a reply the question becomes flagged (under review).
Does that mean those 10 pts are lost for good because I got baited to answer to only have someone (most likely the questioner) to flag answers then to dispensary?
Does the answer get reviewed even if the question is removed?
Thanks

1 AnswerOther - Music6 years agoTheoretically, how can time travel be at all possible?
Outside of our standard flow of time which we all currently experience.
With everything moving: (Earth rotating, orbiting the sun, orbiting the galaxy, moving in the universe, who knows beyond)
How can a device allow you to move in time to the same spot even within a second of a difference without causing you to be somewhere in outer-space.
9 AnswersAstronomy & Space6 years agoIs the world leading to a wealth-free socialist/communist society?
With technology advancing and machines and computers able to perform most tasks, will we eventually lead to a society where everyone is equal and the only "work/reward" will be the advancement of society. Such as Star Trek, where most people seem to work on exploring space on flying luxury lines. Or are we doomed to an upper class that lives by forcing on the downtrodden like in Metropolis?
8 AnswersPolitics6 years agoCould my dog be secretly licking her stiches?
My dog was spayed Friday, and the vet used external stitches. At first I used a clear e-collar, but she learned how to take it of by pushing the edge against the wall, so Saturday I got her an inflatable collar, which she tries running away when I am about to put it on (but she did the same with the e-collar). On the first day any time she moved towards the stitches I yelled at her, and since then she doesn't even try when, or at least when I am in view. However I do not know if she licks it when she is alone, such as when I am asleep or out of the house. When I am home I try to keep her in the same room as me, but she keeps trying to leave and go to her crate in the dining room, which until now she has avoided going into for the past year.
3 AnswersDogs6 years agoMy dog acts up while crossing the street.?
I have a year old Samoyed. While walking, she is usually very good (no pulling, sits when commanded). However SOMETIMES when we cross a main street she will become excited and start jumping at me, biting the leash (including the part I am holding onto), barking, etc. She is also been known to act this way after she gets attention from someone she knows/likes, the person is already house or two away. She doesn't always do it, but it is frustrating when trying to cross a busy street.
4 AnswersDogs6 years agoWhat is still wrong with my laptop?
The laptop dropped while open. The screen was severely cracked and lcd fluid leaked. I replaced the LCD screen to the laptop, and initially it was fine. However when the power was cut from the screen, it will now only showed the left half of the screen (the other side black) and was a mirror image so the start button was in the middle of the screen. It is like this immediately from boot-up (do see the whole screen light up when it starts, just nothing is displayed on the right side)
Adding/Removing drivers did not work, nor did a windows recovery. When I plug the laptop into an external monitor, the external monitor looks fine and the display on the laptop shrinks to about only 1/3 of the screen.
Is this an inverter problem, a motherboard problem, a connection problem, a faulty screen problem, or some kind of firmware problem (can't think its a software/driver)
