I have only one cable line coming from outside since i only had internet with comcast before i got tv with them also i did not want to pay for a tech to come over so i got a couple splitters and split the signal. First i got a two way and split the line coming from outside, one to the modem and the other to another two way splitter in wich one split to the living room and the other to the first bedroom. The line that went to the bed room i put another two way splitter so i can also give signal to the next room wich is adjacent to the first bed room. Now the signal is very good but theres a couple channels that lag and pixelate but most of the channels look good. So if i use an amplifier will this fix the channels that are bad

I had comcast internet and decided to add cable tv but i did not want to pay $30 for a tech to come over so what i did is i took the cable that was connected to my modem and connected it to a splitter one for the modem and the other cable i connected it to another spliter that split the living room to the first bed room then connected another splitter in the bed room so i can put cable in the next room is this okay and its working fine but is there anything that could go wrong

Blackfriday, christmas etc

So today i hooked up a plasma tv for a friend. This is what i did, i hooked up the tvs audio out white and red cables to a bose system, that turned out okay, so then basicaly i hooked up a Roku to the AV input 2 and hooked up a bluray player to the hdmi slot and hooked up a comcast cable box with a coax cable to ch 3. So the problem is that i had the tv on AV input 2 and i was using the roku. After i was done i tuned to ch 3 to watch cable, but when i went back to AV2 to use the roku i had no image just sound. I tuned to the hdmi input to see if it would do the same thing and not show an image, so i turned on the bluray player every thing turned on fine, so then while the bluray player was still on i tuned to AV 2 and the roku had an image so basicaly i have to turn on the bluray player first before i can see a image from the roku. Why is this happening anyone please help. Thank You

Yesterday i upgraded to hd dvr service but the gave me a box that didnt have a hdmi port i currently have connected by RGB but can i switch my box for a box that has a hdmi port
