  • Viagra question, are sexual urges always turned off?

Hello I have recently taken Sildenafil (possibly known as Viagra) for the first time. I was very worried about it and because of this I have put off taking it for over a month. I took it at about 12 midnight, and I didn't notice any effect for the first hour. I was actually expecting some sort of sexual urge to develop, but there was none. After a few hours I was able to experience a sustained erection but without any sexual urge by just rubbing.

This morning I'm feel a bit hemmed in mentally, and rather confused, and I'm wondering if that's a normal side-effect of the Viagra? I did have some alcohol a few hours before I took it though. I also noticed that my heart was beating harder than usual and I experienced lots of skipped beats and a tingling sensation on my lips, and a bit of difficulty in getting to sleep. I had no sexual urge, just the erection, and I'm not sure how satisfactory that is, but certainly better than nothing I suppose. I did mange an orgasm but it took time. Do people who take Viagra normally have sexual urges with subdued erections, or is the 'zero' sexual urge I'm experiencing normal for Viagra takers? Also, why am I only allowed 4 tablets a month on the nhs? What happens if I want to have sex more than that, can they be bought?

  • I gone too far with her..?

I met a girl through Facebook and within days of chatting on Facebook she implied that she wanted to be my girlfriend. Within days we were saying that we loved each other, and calling each other love, and leaving messages on each others status that we are in love. We chat every day, constantly calling each other love. Se has put on her status that I'm her boyfriend. The problem is that she lives in a different country, and I have now, 2 weeks later, decided I don't love her at all, but she definitely has the hots for me, there's no doubt about it. She says she want to live with me forever. I do want to be her friend but not a boyfriend. She wants me to travel to her country to meet her family, but I am not willing to go, but I haven't told her. I suppose I have been a bit foolish, and it's made me quite ill.

My question is, how do I let her down without upsetting her or breaking her heart? What do I do? I just would find it very difficult to hurt her feelings. I just don't know how to let her know, she'll be upset and possibly very angry with me.

  • Is there a God, or should we only believe in ourselves?

I'm already very sceptical about Jesus Christ the only begotten son of the Father, but can we simply believe in a God or should I be sceptical of this persona also? I have heard him being described as a loving old man in the sky who understands, loves us and looks upon all of us at the same time, and knows everything from the beginning and has always been and will always be?

Are we better off dismissing what we can't see or not, after all Muslims believe in a God as do Hindus, Christians and Catholics of course?

Is it right in this day in age to believe in the unknown or can we be happy just believing in ourselves?

  • Why do women like men?

This has been asked a few times already I know and I'm not trying to belittle women because I know they like the guys equally to the other way round. What I'm really asking is do woman's minds work rather differently when it comes to love than men's, and might they be seen as slightly perverted in that regard compared to a man? Women are attractive we all know, but men can't really boast the same. Women have said to me it's the personality they like and looks don't really come into it. They also joke about liking men's butts, but what is attractive about a man's butt? They seem happy to go out with much older guys and happy with other races, men they really go for are often seen as rather unattractive to a man.

So are women slightly perverted as the norm? Again, I am not trying to belittle women here, nor have I got anything against them. I'm just curious as to why men are seemed so attractive to them when women don't flick through men's porno mags like a man would look at a woman's mag?

I think that I have got my point across here, I'm trying to learn some more, so answers are gratefully received.

  • Why do people believe in Jesus?

The fact is that he hasn't come back, he went away and left people in trouble, people only wrote about him a long time after he died. He was suppose to pardon everyones sins but people go on sinning.

If he was a redeemer, then why has the worst atrocities been carried out a long time after he has died?

  • Did Jesus exist or was he a fake, like a forged £20 note?

It is now the 21st century, and can we infer, from what we have discovered, that Jesus didn't actually exist; he was created entirely out of the fabric of people's imagination, or was he a character who was actually the same as everyone else, but people believed that he was the Messiah when they wrote Matthew Mark, Luke and John, and therefore concluded he performed miracles when he didn't?

Basically can we now in 2013 conclude that he was a fake?

  • Does Christianity get less and less relevant and believable as time goes on?

I live in England, and I get the feeling that, when I'm watching the TV and listening to people's thoughts, that people believe less and less in Jesus and God the Father, and the possibility that Jesus will return to judge the bad people of this world.

Any thoughts on this subject would be welcome.

    Will Jesus be coming back

  • I have a tv arc function and a Samsung soundbar?

I was wondering (as I'm new to soundbars), what is the best way to connect the soundbar and subwoofer. I have connected my HDMI arc socket on my TV to HDMI out on the soundbar and it seems to work, and it sounds good, but would it be better to connect an optical cable as well, or instead of the HDMI cable?

Also, which would be the cheapest method as I will have to buy either a new HDMI cable or an optical cable, or both, as I'm using the HDMI cable from my DVD player?

  • What do Hare Krishna's think of animals?

I've been told at a Hare Krishna meeting that some Hare Krishna's dread coming back to this earth as an animal when they die, as for them it will be like a punishment for wrong-doing when they were in human form? If being an animal is a punishment, what do Hare Krishna's think of animals?

Would they in principal have pets?

  • Is Hell better than Heaven?

In the 80s it was fashionable to say that hell was more fun than heaven. My question is: were they taking the p..ss out of christianity, were they ignorant of the truth, were they atheist, or did they actually believe this to be true?

  • It's Halloween, I'm scared :(?

It's 31st October and 7.33pm, I'm sitting in my house all uptight and worried about who's going to knock at my door, and whether they'll go away or not if I don't answer, and what voices I'll hear out there. I'm scared that they'll leave some graffiti or something out there if I don't answer. The worst evening of the year for me. There seems to be so many kids about this year; I noticed them on my way home.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

  • I have a trough in my garden?

Hello there, I have a brick built trough in my garden, it measures 3m long by 35cm wide by 40cm deep. For about a year it was about ⅔ earth and ⅓ decorative stone with a weed stop fabric in between. It looked very nice. I noticed some dirt in it in the summer and when I had a closer look, there seemed to be an ants nest in it but I never did much about that. However, about a week ago I noticed that there was a weed growing from it, and when I looked closer I noticed that a lot of the stones under the surface were covered in black dirt particles, and some dirt had also formed on the weed fabric, where the weed had planted itself. Yesterday I decided to investigate further and I removed the stones, some were very dirty, others were not, and I did notice that a lot of dirt had come up over the top of the weed fabric at the edges. I also found some worms in the stones, but only a few ants, but I did notice some earwigs under the stones and a few centipedes also. I decided to investigate the soil as well and noticed that there were a lot of worms thriving in the soil which was very clay-like and sticky and had a lot of broken paving slabs in it, about 50/50. Today I decided to go further and remove all the soil, and although it was very hard work, I managed it. The trough is now empty and it does have a base, so the worms were not able to escape.

My solution is to put back ⅔ pea shingle, then a weed stop divider, then ⅓ decorative stone on top. I'm hoping that when the soil is gone, the ants wont nest and the worms wont burrow and then I will not have any more dirt. My question is, does anyone have any suggestions, and perhaps a better idea than that for how to have weed and dirt free decorative stones in the trough, which will look nice and wont cause anymore bother to me? I'm worried that my solution might not be the best one, but I can't think of anything else. I have thought of putting ballast under the stones, but I think that the ants would nest in that?

  • I hate my brothers, they are so different from me, what can I do?

I'm only seeing them because my mum is still alive, I don't want to hurt her feelings and upset her, she has enough problems as it is. I would rather not have anything to do with my brothers. I hate them and their wives. They are so different from me. They have set their children against me, and when they invite me to events, it's just to take the p.., and humiliate me: that's what I think anyway. When my mum dies I wont want to have anything to do with them I'm sure. It's only my mother that's keeping us together, it gets harder and harder to bring myself to meet them, I just can't stand them :(

  • Can anyone be a Hare Krishna?

I've seen lots of Hare Krishna's in London where I live, and they often try to sell me their books and invite me to their temples etc.

Can anyone become a Hare Krishna, or do you have to be truly a devotee to participate; i.e. can you be a Hare Krishna without actually believing in everything they teach about?

  • Is smoking really all that bad for you?

(Compared to drinking, obesity, prescription drugs etc). Well if a little bit of what you fancy does you good, why such a big problem?

No one ever talks about the bad effects of being overweight, the serious problems associated with alcohol on the liver, kidneys and brain, or the serious side effects that dependence on prescription drugs have and their related side effects, some of which are permanent.

I think we need a more open minded society, or should I simply say government.

I'm fed up of seeing those nasty photos on my cigarette packets. Why don't they stick them on bottles of spirits, wine and beer, as well as cakes, sweets and biscuit tins?

  • My computer is sooooooooo sluggish?

I have a Toshiba laptop i think it's called a power-book but it's not very powerful as on the Internet it can be tediously slow and 'sticky'.

It has a 1.3 processor and 2 GB RAM, it has Norton anti-virus on it as well. It's windows 7, 64 bit.

The computer is still under it's Toshiba manufacturers guarantee, so should I take it back to the shop or is it more to do with the slow processor? When I use the web cam to record myself the words don't come out right, but the microphone is sound. I really don't like this computer.

    (Don't tell him that though).

  • Am I on my own to complain about a scratch?

I recently paid £400 for a new cooker and it was scratched by the electrician when he installed it. It's a very thin scratch about 5 inches long with 2 small gashes at each end, but it is at the side of the cooker and at the top so it's possible to see it. I'm really bothered about it.

Am I being a bit fussy to complain to try and get the scratch removed without me having to pay for it? Is it normal to want to complain over such things, and am I right to do it? Would other people do the same??

My feelings are when you get a new cooker you don't want it scratched before you even use it. I'm upset about it and angry with the electrician. The electrician is denying he did it but it couldn't be anyone else because there's also a mark on what he scratched it on, and it's just out of it's box.

  • Does anyone think that the health risks associated with smoking are overkill?

I enjoy the odd cigar, I find it a very pleasant activity and it doesn't seem to do me any harm. Why should I have to look at warnings, high taxes and photos of sick people on the wrappers every time I smoke; we all know the risks, so why all the constant aggro? Surely there are things in this life that are just as harmful such as obesity, alcohol and lack of exercise? Does anyone agree?

  • Does anyone else eat sauce and mustard on it's own?

The taste of it seems better on it's own (in small amounts), but I recently noticed that I went through a whole bottle of heinz barbeque sauce in just over a month.
