Not myself right now
If you know you are the type who is easily conned by spouses & lovers, how do you ever learn to trust your?
own instincts again & not be overly suspicious of others in the future?
2 AnswersMarriage & Divorce9 years agoWasn't it the Romans who crucified Christ? Or was it Jews? Or Muslims?
I honestly don't remember, sunday school was a long time ago, but this answer:
ALL MUSLIMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF OUR SAVIOR JESUS AND THE TWIN TOWERS
made me wonder.

I really thought it was the Romans.
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCurious about the inner workings of Yahoo answers - approximately how long does it take from when a posting?
is reported until a violation notice shows up in your inbox. I just received one that is so old, it seems it must have been lost in the mail...
This doesn't seem to be the most efficient way to deal with things. Is this the normal practise?
1 AnswerYahoo Answers1 decade agoIs there a known gene or an identifyable disorder that can explain?
The whole nosey or butt-insky thing we humans do?
Like everything from gay marriage to interracial dating, to chubby chasers, to insulting career choices, to abortion or whatever...if it isn't your relationship or your marriage, or even your career choice, why should you care?
So, I'm wondering if there is something physical to explain this phenomenon. Anybody know?
2 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoOkay so, all regulars on R&S have heard of FSM, but?
Has there ever been a donut god? I mean outside of Homer Simpson & the forbidden donut.
Just curious.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI want to have a religious experience?
I am honestly not even fussy about which religion. I am aware that people who don't believe in any form of religion will advise to take drugs or what not, so there is no need to post that suggestion.
Believers of any faith, what would you suggest to induce a religious awakening to someone who was interested?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHas anybody ever questioned whether or not they've ever actually been loved by another?
Somethings have happened. Had me taking a hard look at my relationship. Even had a look at previous ones. Now I'm not really sure if any of them were love.
Has anybody else experienced a moment like this? Is it a normal thing when your world is shook up? Will it pass?
8 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDoes emotionally unstable really mean "relationship not possible"?
Lots of people answer different situations with things like "she sounds emotionally unstable, find someone else", or "he's got issues, run away"
Is it the general belief that when the other person is messed up, the smart or appropriate thing to do is leave?
Are there circumstances in which you should stay with an unstable partner?
Just curious...
4 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoQuestion for people who have or do cheat?
You may be the only ones to help me understand this...
You love somebody, but you have sex with somebody else. Why?
So cheating ends the relationship. You call you ex to apologize for hurting him/her...why? I don't think the motivation was trying to get back together, no attempt made to do that...just "Sorry, never wanted to hurt you"
So if you didn't want to hurt your ex, why cheat? Why not just say, "Okay, I think I want to date other people..."
5 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoOPINIONS WANTED: RE: Break up?
Okay, relationship crumbled. 3 years common-law. Lots of ups & downs. Current situation fits just about every broken heart cliche.
This isn't my first time going through this, by no stretch of the imagination, but here is the question part:
Each time I have a serious relationship fail like this, it feels worse than the time before. It seems a bit like the weight of every break up is on my shoulders all at once.
Has this happened to anybody else?
I am working through all the crap, I will survive, blah, blah, blah, just feel so very hurt & lost right now...but I am concerned by how much worse it feels every time.
If that is normal, for it to get worse with each loss...doesn't there come a certain point where a person should just give up on it all together?
For details, I'm 34, strike 3 on marriage or married type (common-law) relationships, not to mention all the other break-ups.
5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoIs "omenosis" the word of the day, or what?
I have never heard this word before today, now suddenly there are questions popping up about it...I've seen tonnes of answers using it. In all fairness, they seem to be from the same user...
Is this what happens when certain folks learn a new word?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDavid Carradine - fans or well-wishers?
Too much information about his death, yes or no? I find it a bit disrespectful to air some ones dirty laundry after they are dead, how about you?
13 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDoes anybody remember a TV show named Stingray?
If so, can you tell me the network? It starred a Canadian actor named Nick Mancuso.

When I ask a question, the community always gets to pick the best answer, but I see on other questions - answer picked by asker. What am I doing wrong?

6 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoWhat is the stupidest thing that has happened to you at a cashier?
I was at wal-mart & the cashier said I had to sign the back of my credit card. So I did. She then had me sign the reciept, also infront of her. She then compared the 2 signatures (remember I signed both in front of her) and said they didn't match & would have to get her supervisor's permission to take it. What's your dumbest ever story?
