So I'm trying to build up my personal "library" but I need help finding some good books. The books/authors I like are: Game of Thrones/George R. R. Martin, Anything by Tolkien, Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series, anything by Anne Rice (except her religious books), J.K Rowling/Harry Potter. I really love fantasy sort of books. I hate romance/harlequin books. So none of that please. Just looking for something adult. Not that childish twilight crap. So if anyone can give me a list of books or series or even authors, that's be great.

My husband's interlock device needs to be recalibrated and we're needing to leave tomorrow for a trip. It says it has 1 day and some hours to be serviced. I've been calling for the past week for a recalibration but the company will not answer or call us back. I'm asking anyone with experience with these devices, what will happen if we just dive off and do not get it recalibrated? Will it lock down and not let us drive it? Serious question here.

Ok so my DVD player wouldn't open for awhile and I finally got it opened only now I can't close it. I took the back off to see what the problem is. Whenever I try to manually close it, the middle part inside the DVD player pops up, preventing the tray from closing. When I pull the tray back, the middle part goes down. Is it supposed to do this? And if so why is it coming up so far? Please someone tell me how to fix it.

Ok so we don't have cable or any channels at all, so I don't need info on that. All we do is watch DVDs using our Xbox 360. So our new HDTV is horribly blurry with our DVDs. Can someone please tell me why? And if there is anything we can do without buying a Blu-ray player? And if we did buy one, would our regular DVDs still look this bad? Or will te bluray player make them magically look normal like the commercial suggests?

In the Walgreen's sale papers it says that all $9.99 toys are buy one get one free. Does anyone know if it means buy 1 toy and get another of the same toy free or if it means buy one an get any other $9.99 toy free? the add is unclear and so is the website.

My husband and I rescued a kitten from our local park. When we brought her home, we noticed her anus was swollen and scabbed. The fur above her anus on her tail has all been rubbed away. I've been cleaning it regularly, but I don't know the cause of her wound. I hate to think someone would abuse this kitten that way. Can anyone think of anything that would cause this?

But I need to stay home with our 8 month old daughter, does any one know a legit stay at home job? Like on the internet that doesn't require too much of my time?

We put a flea collar on our cat a few months back and when we noticed he had lost all his hair around the collar and under it. He also got sores and I don't know if they are from scratching or from the collar. What is a better alternative to a flea collar? We really can't afford the vet right now.

He is never home. He came home one night, drunk and tried to be "intimate" with me and he called me by some other girls name. He said he didn't know her, but I looked on his facebook and he does. He's tagged in 2 pictures with this girl at his favorite bar. I went through his phone and found all this odd numbers and texts at midnight. He told his friends he "ran" me "off. Do you guys think he is cheating? If he is, what do I do to find out? We have an 8 month old daughter and I don't want to leave unless I know for sure.

My 8 month old daughter is teething and she won't nurse as often and she won't eat baby food. She only wants Jello and ice cream and frozen pickle juice. Any ideas of what healthier things I good give her?
