  • Did Jesus bail on us?

Well, here is my question. I've been thinking on it for a week and i want to know your opinions.

So Jesus died for or sins, a tragic sacrifice he made so we could be saved. Jesus, being the son of god surely knew about heaven and what awaited him, paradise. So his sacrifice was to go to paradise, leave all humans behind and say he did it for them? To me that sounds a bit like flying to Barbados and saying "He guys I only drink this cocktail so you can be saved!". So what do you think about it?

Oh, and i don't need answers that tell me that Jesus did't exist, or stupid quotations from Job, or that whole believe non-believe feud. Just an answer about what you think.

  • Why do Americans still call themselves Italian or Greek?

A lot of Americans (US) still cal themselves Italian, Greek, Dutch, French or whatever.

First of all, why do you call yourself (for instance) Italian if your are more then 3rd or 4th generation American, you don't speak the language and share very little of the culture itself?

Secondly, why is it important to know if you are 1/16 Greek and 3/5 Portuguese? I can understand it if you are 50/50 and your parents are actually born in France and Germany that you call yourself half French/German, but to go as far as 1/16th?

I am not judging here. I just find it interesting, so please share your point of view.

  • I have a test with one condition and three outcome variables. What statistic method should I use?

I have a test in which people see three different kinds of advertisements (type A, type B, type C). Afterward I want to see which of the advertisements they could remember. So that gives me x of A, x of B, and x of C. Now I want to determine if there is a difference between the three variables. So what test do I uses?

I cannot use an ANOVA because I want to test three variables against each other, and not three conditions within one variable.

I was thinking of a paired t-test, but I'm not sure about it..
