A close friend of mine sent me a link to an item he's purchasing and wanted to know if I wanted anything; I found a pair of ski poles that are 61% off. I asked my mother if I could purchase them and she declined saying 'They're too short' for you. (The recommended TRADITIONAL ski pole size for my height is 44"; the ski pole I'm looking at is 42-40" which is not a large difference in height and is actually recommended considering what I do with my ski poles most of the time, which is the NEWSCHOOL style of skiing, as in, doing tricks and the like.)

However, I still really want to purchase those poles; I have the money, but not the permission. So I'm contemplating e-mailing my friend and asking him to buy it for me as a "gift" which I will immediately repay him for so it doesn't look like I went behind her back and bought them.

Would this be morally incorrect? Can I go through with this?

I'm paying him back, and, my mother, to be honest, doesn't know as much about ski gear and ski related items as I do, but I don't want to confront her about it and seem rude to her.

I'm writing a business plan for school and I have until the end of today to finish it. I know what I want to write about in these four subjects:

The idea/Concept

Market Analysis/Target Market & Customers

Competitive Analysis/Primary Competitors

Strategy/Strengths and Weaknesses

HOWEVER I haven't the slightest clue as to how I should write/format the other steps in creating a business plan which are:

Vision/Milestones

Products/Services

Operations/Management

Financial Statement/Balance Sheet & Cash Flow

Can those of you who understand business well give me a detailed explanation of how I should write all of this, as well as explaining the process of writing the steps I have been unable to figure out?

Hello. I'm 15 years old and am a sophomore in high school. I'm currently home-schooled and take my classes via an online website. I was doing good a couple of months ago but since then I've been slacking off and have been forced to purchase a 2 month extension to finish my work. I don't really have much time left; although the extension expires on December 16, I need to finish before then.

The problem is that I have full access to any website I choose, and shamefully, I admit to browsing other websites instead of schoolwork.

Due to the circumstances at hand I absolutely cannot tell anyone about this as it would result in an extremely severe punishment. (I'm not talking about 'something severe' as in 'no video games for 3 months'. Something much more than that. I do not wish to explain what it would but, so I'm just going to leave it at that.)

So now that you know the basis of my problem, how can I control myself? Is there a program I can access to block any and all websites that do not pertain to my schoolwork?

Any advice is welcome, and thank you very much for reading my question.

Extra detail: It sucks.

I take somewhat decent care of my teeth. I brush at night, sometimes brush after breakfast (I'm trying to make it a habit, but I haven't lately).

To make up for it I brushed my teeth, flossed, and used Listerine tonight. While I flossed, I was bleeding frequently --not profusely, but enough to make my spit red--, and once I finished, I checked my teeth. I noticed a slight light-pink color at my gum line compared to the rest of my gums. I don't look at my gums much frankly, and I don't know if it's ALWAYS that color, but it caught my eye due to the bleeding.

Are these signs of gingivitis? If so, what dental products should I search for? (Other than the obvious floss and mouthwash.)

I also plan on visiting the dentist in the next few days.

I dropped my 3G yesterday night in my house. I have tile flooring but I have a plastic cover to protect it.Once I picked it up I couldn't turn it on or anything. All it did was flash the 'Apple startup' screen-- like when you turn on your iPhone-- it looks like a black background with the apple logo in the middle. I've left it alone since then.

Anyone know what I should do?

Last night I dreamed about being in an ice berg, climbed through a crack to lead outside the ice berg, and took a lady to the red carpet, did an interview with that same lady, then wound up ending up and my old school and play fighting with a friend of mine. Shortly thereafter I saw a girl whom I used to like have a conversation with another girl and told me to stop fighting in a joking matter. Then I whispered to my friend to look at the left wall because it had the numbers "69" and we laughed. I woke up after that.

Seriously. What the hell? I just want a cool dream, not this ridiculous stuff. Is there any way I can have a DREAM that I WANT? I know you can control your dreams but it felt like I was in complete control, or, didn't notice it.

How do you dream about something that you wish to see happen? Does it just come and go as it pleases? Or, is there some process that I can do to dream about what I choose to dream about?

In March my mother is taking me to Mammoth or Brian Head (She didn't specify which one in particular buth those are the two mountains we visit every time we ski.)

Before that, she assured me she was buying me Armada skis and I plan on showing her this one in particular.

I'm also getting new boots by then, but I'm more focused on what I can do to prepare myself physically for the lessons as well as mentally. I'm 15 and have been skiing for the past year. I go skiing every week, sometimes a week and a half. I've spent most of my time on black diamond runs and on occasion visit the park and go off some jumps at average/low speed.

To avid skiers who also are also able to do tricks, how do you prepare yourself mentally at the start of the day? Also, how vast of a difference is it when you switch from beginner/intermediate skis to Armadas/trick skis?

BQ: Ski gear?

I haven't been able to golf for a month (Christmas, shopping, etc.) and when I went to the golfing range I was sucking bad! My farthest hit was only 175, the rest were in the 100~ area and they just kept slicing it bad.

So to those of you who are avid golfers; when you haven't golfed in a while, how do you jump start your skill and start hitting it the way you used to?

It may seem unrelated to the question, but now that I think about it, this often happens during cold weather.

I love to draw anything. Lately I've started a few drawings, but I've lost any and all motivation to finish them! I know I have the potential to finish them, but I also realize I have NO willpower to unlock that potential. The same thing applies to my Tai Chi practices. I take it very seriously, but what with the cold weather I haven't been able to practice it with the same happiness I used to have. So, those of you speaking from experience, how were you able to stay motivated enough to complete projects and such?

Elaborate answers are extremely appreciated! I will thoroughly read all of them, regardless. Thank you for your time.

Were these people deprived of common sense whilst growing up or do they get off on acting like an ignoramus? I have a hand-me-down 3GS iPhone but not all of the settings were erased; I was browsing the iTunes app and clicked on the 'More' tab and now every time l watch a video on youtube, every five minutes it asks me for the password. It also happens when l try to browse iTunes too.

I checked my settings and logged myself out of the App Store but it's still asking for it. Does anyone know how to fix it?

When, you are really enamored with an artist, and you listen to every single one of their songs for a long time, then take a break from listening to them, and you hear one of their songs again, and fall in love with them?

If I'm vague, I'll try rephrasing this; when you listen to a song you really love for a while, then stop playing the song for a while, and hear the song again, and keep playing the song over and over again because you just NOW realized how much you love the song?

Now I don't mind reading the horoscope paper every once in a while; but honestly, why do people assume that every strife in their relationship/friendship with others is AUTOMATICALLY pertained to horoscopes?

Such as: "This man l like doesn't talk to me, I am an Aries. HELP!" She might be an Aries, or PERHAPS she might just be ugly (I favor option 2). Or "What job would suit a Capricorn?". How would any of us know!?

I have McAfee security and I only go to three websites; Bing, Yahoo Mail/Answers, and one other website which will remain unnamed, however I can guarantee you it's secured and safe.

Yet all day today I've been crashing. (Completely frozen, but I'm able to move my mouse. No BSOD, though.)

I've had to press the power button to shut down countless times today. I know it's dangerous but I've done Ctrl Alt Del/Esc.

Would I have a virus of some sort? I've tried doing a virus scan, but as I said, I've been freezing every ten minutes.

May you help me find a solution? Or at least diagnose the problem for me?
