My girlfriend told me today that she sees me as more of a friend than boyfriend and girlfriend.

We are both 19 years old and we've been together for almost 2 1/2 years. We've never had trouble getting along and have really had a fantastic 2 years together. I don't treat her as a friend, I treat her as a lover so I don't know how it has got to this.

Her parents have been putting pressure on her and our relationship together by giving her ultimatums such as saying to her she's not allowed to move away from home until she is married, and that she isn't allowed to go on holiday with me until she is married.. okay, i'm sure there are many people who say the same, but this isn't what she wanted. She had already told me what she wanted to do in life.

We have been planning to go away together for quite some time now, but ever since her parents, specifically her dad, said she's not to go unless she is married she has abandoned the idea entirely and pretty much denies ever wanting to go. Also she wanted to move in with me eventually, not in to too distant future, probably when we are both 20. But ever since her dad told her she's no allowed to unless she is married she has denied wanting to move out. Also she has discussed marriage with me before, and she always said she wanted to get married on a beach... then ever since her dad told her she is to get married in a church or not at all, she denies ever saying she wanted to get married on a beach and only wants to get married in a church.

Personally I say move in with the person and marry them when you're ready... 19 is way too young to even be discussing marriage in my opinion.

I know she doesn't want these things, because she was absolutely miserable when she tells me, but she is afraid of falling out with her family so she seems to rather do as they say to make them happy than do what makes her happy and risk falling out with them.

After her dad tells her these things, she then gets her whole family of about 13 people all discussing it together and telling her the same thing. And basically, after this happens, she goes really funny with me. Her dad told her to go on a break with me and she did for example. This time she has said that she sees me more as a friend.

What gives me some hope is that her words were: "I see you more as a friend than boyfriend and girlfriend, but I don't want that, I want to see you as my boyfriend", and she claims she doesn't really know what she feels.

She was supposed to come over tomorrow but I called it off and told her I need time to think - I'm just not sure what to do. Would she really throw away 2 1/2 years over this?

I have tried to see if i'm doing anything wrong, but despite a few minor issues there's nothing. If I do anything wrong i always make sure i make up for it and so that good times outweigh bad times.

The only problem with her really is her over-controlling parents, but i've always tried to get along with them and not let any problems they have with me get in the way. Now it feels like they are causing problems...

This weekend and last we had a really good time, and it was just after our break and she missed me so much, and she admitted she loved me... but as soon as her family discussed things with her again she told me she is having mixed feelings and then this comes out.

If she definitely just sees me as a friend then I'm calling off our relationship... but i have that bit of hope that i can fix it.

What can I do?

Does anybody know what environmental impacts and concerns arise from the process of annealing?

The question i am answering is as follows:

With a regard to ferrous and non-ferrous materials, describe which materials are commonly used on secondary machining operations and how the material behaves/performs.

The machining operations in questions include:

• Turning

• Milling

• Boring

• Grinding

• Presswork

I was told i just have to include points about the hardness/toughness of the materials, and also their cutting speeds.

The main thing i need clarification of is the principle of why you would use a hard cutting tool on a tough material, and a tough cutting tool on a hard material.

And also, why hard materials require faster cutting speeds, while softer materials require slower cutting speeds.

I do not know why these are true.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and any other help anyone can give to help me accumulate an answer would be appreciated too!

My girlfriend had a nightmare last night. I'm wondering if anyone could give their interpretation of it.

The dream was set at a house, in an overgrown garden (completely fictional). Supposedly she was with me on my bed in this garden.

She described to me that there was an "ugly scary monster", which was a naked, bony green girl with long grey hair. The house itself had told her that this "monster" was going to kill me, and my girlfriend had a dinner knife and fork, with which she defended me with, and killed the monster by chopping it up.

Like the house and garden, the monster didn't resemble anyone she knew.

She also mentioned we were running around in the dream at one point, so perhaps being chased by the monster.

My bike was stolen recently and i have been told by my family members that they all will put in some money for me towards a new one.

First of all i must make it clear that i have contact with all three people i mention here, however only my mum does not know i have any contact with my step-dad whatsoever, and trouble will break out if she were to find out.

My mum told me she will get me some money towards a new bike. shortly after she texted me this information, my step dad texted me telling me he is giving my mum some money towards a bike for me.

My dad said he will also put some in towards it.

My mum texted me later in the day telling me she is able to get me £90 towards a bike. I assumed that my step-dad had given here £45, and that she had matched it, so it makes up to £90 - which is fair.

My dad said he will match it if he can which would make £180 total - not bad, sounds good so far.

However, this is where the missing money problem comes in.

About a later after the most recent text from my mum telling me she can get me £90, my step-dad texts me saying he has left £150 with my mum to go towards a bike.

This means, not only has my mum not put in a single penny towards it, but she has taken £60 away from it. My step-dad only did this for me as i have known him for all but the first 2 years of my life and not for my mum at all.

It saddens me that she would do this. It wouldn't have been as bad if she said she had £150 for me, because although that means she wouldn't have put in a single penny herself, at least all of my step-dads money would reach where it was meant to go. But that unfortantely is not the case. And not only that... she'll be taking all the credit for it, even though i know the truth.

Because the way my mum is, if she were to find out that i have contact with my step-dad, it is likely that not a penny of the £150 will reach me

Now my question is: How do i get her to grant me the remaining £60 of the money that was intended for me to replace my stolen bike?

I need to cause the least trouble possible

My dad said he will tell her that my step-dad has texted him saying he has left £150, which so far seems my best option because it means she won't necessarily know i have contact with him... but it can still potentially go wrong.

Its pathetic that i'm even having to post this question, as i would much rather just say to her "i know that's not your money and that you're keeping £60 for yourself", however i would rather cause as little trouble as possible else she will do her best to make my life hell.

There will be a time where i won't care if it causes trouble.. however while she is my parent and not just my mum, i can't afford to cause trouble.

in about a months time will be my girlfriend's and my first full year together. Therefore I really want to make a very special and romantic evening for her.

I'm planning on bringing her over in the evening, cooking her a meal myself rather than paying a man £20 to do it up the city centre, and then having a romantic bath together.

I want to make it a truly sensual experience for her. I want to make it pleasing to all her senses to give her an evening she won't forget.

I have some ideas Such as the obvious candles, and i'm open to ideas and suggestions as I want to make it as special as I possibly can, not just to Mark a year together, but she deserves to have a wonderful treat :)

I am stuck on one question for my physics homework. The question is:

A pencil 'lead' is a rod of graphite of length 10cm and diameter 1.2mm. A student connects the ends of the lead to a 3V D.C supply and measures the current to be 4.3A

a) Calculate the resistance of the pencil lead

- So here i did the equation R=V/I which is 3V / 4.3A = 0.698 Ohms

b) Calculate resistivity

- Here i had to rearrange the equation: Resistance = Resistivity X length / Cross sectional area

- And i ended up with: Resistivity = Resistance X cross sectional area / length

- therefore it would be 0.698 Ohms X (Pi X 1.2mm) / 100mm = 0.0263 Ohm.m

However i know that graphite generally has 3-60 Ohm.m, and i don't see how this is possible... have i gone wrong somewhere?

It's not that i can't have it tonight, it's that i just don't want it tonight. I guess i'm just not in the right mind-set for a party today... that and i haven't got everything ready for a party

My PS3 won't load up games i put into it anymore, and the icon doesn't show up.

I have 3 possibilities:

I bought resistance 2 from CEX (computer entertainment exchange) a couple of days ago, the place seemed dodgy, but i thought i'd give them a go since they did sell cheap games. And it's only since i put the disc on that i bought from them that my ps3 will no longer play games - coincidence or were my instincts right, that they were dodgy?

Also there was the 3.7 update today, and yesterday everything was working fine, but since updating it will no longer play the games - coincidence?

Or perhaps it is all just coincidence and just so happens that something happened to the reader at that moment.

Although there's a little more too it:

I updated, and then put the resistance 2 disc which i bought from CEX in my PS3, and it entered the game as it should, i saw the resistance loading symbol and went in the other room while it loaded in. I came back in and the screen was completely blank, and there were no loose connections between the PS3 and TV.

I left it for a little bit and still nothing so i decided to Hold down the on/off button on the front to turn it off for situations like this. The green light began flashing as usual, but it kept flashing and the blue light stayed on. Eventually i had to just had to switch it off at the back hoping it wouldn't cause any loss of data.

I switched it back on, the XMB loaded up as usual - to my surprise without a warning message telling me the console wasn't switched off properly, as it usually says that when switched off in such a way. However i put the game back in and it didn't go into the game and the disc icon didn't show up. I tried doing it with games i know work and it's the same story.

So basically i need some help identifying what caused it, and what to do next.

My warranty has run out and obviously i'll need to send it off to Sony - But if it is because the disc bought from CEX can i make a claim so that they pay for it if it's their fault?

Also how much roughly will it cost?

Oh also i have had no previous problems with the console since i bought it new back in september 2008, and it is treated properly, kept clean from dirt and dust, i switch it off properly every time, i turn it off when it's not being used. So It's only this one time and it doesn't seem like it's mine or the consoles fault.

It's my Mum's birthday coming up and all she asked for was a design for a tattoo, so i'm tasked with drawing a design for her, however i need some ideas.

She likes mythical stuff, especially fairies and i will preferably want it to be of a fairy for that reason. So can anyone link me to some good designs off teh internets, or if you're a tattooist then perhaps one of your own designs.

I went on google images but a lot of them don't seem right, so i was just hoping someone could help me find some really good ones.

And btw it won't be a copy of an image, i'm gonna make something new, just i need ideas.

i have my prom coming up, so i bought a black suit, the jacket and trousers, and i also bought a black tie. I was wondering what colour shirt would go well with it, other than the obvious white - i just wanted to have something different.

If there is a colour that would work well with the black suit but with a different tie, then give me the suggestion also, i don't mind buying a new tie if it goes well with a specific colour shirt.

Also any guidance on shoes would be good :)

I'm building a city, and wondered what materials i should use for the building.

I was thinking either coloured wool, since i can make it any colour, or simply using stone blocks, or another idea of using iron blocks. But i'm thinking stone for that concrete feel. What do you recommend?

Recently we've had to cut back on how much we spend on things, and unfortunately for my cats that means buying cheaper food too. We used to give them whiskers, now we give them Go-cat. The elder cat seems fine with the change, but our younger cat keeps being sick - we have had to change brands a couple of times the past few months. The sick is just cat food with some grass in it, so i'm pretty sure it's because of the change

And probably last night, she was sick on the new rug we bought, which is in the Lodger's room, ready for when we get a lodger. The rug was clean and new, and now it's got cat sick dried into it, because i woke up to find it like it is.

So i need help with 2 things -

How can i help my cat to stop being sick so much?

How can i clean this cat sick out of the rug without ruining it?

So my mum has this telescope, which hasn't been used for many years, it's about 5 years old or something. It's a Celestron - i can't find the unit name, but it won't be on the website because all the ones on there are digital ones now, and the one we have doesn't have any digital features. So anyway, i've never really used it before so i need help with it. When i look through the telescope viewing part, there is a big view of the sky, but is blocked by the mirror used to look through it (the viewing part is on the side, not on the back)

And i can't even use the extra magnification because it just gives me a really high magnification of my eye, so i can't even see anything in it.

So first of all, how am i supposed to make it so this doesn't happen - of course i can't just make the mirror piece disappear, but surely they wouldn't have designed it so your view is blocked
