  • How do I organize hair color in salon?

My salon has a bunch of tubes of hair color, open and in boxes. It's so disorganized, and I need a better way to organize them. Any suggestions?

  • How do I make an origami band out of dollar bills?

I want to make a little band out of dollar bills for my little brother for Christmas. I found tutorials for making a guitar out of a dollar bill, and even pants and shirts. What I'm really looking for is a way to make a drum set, and even a microphone, out of dollar bills. Any suggestions?

  • Why are there small flies by my pedicure station?

I recently started working at a new salon as a nail tech. When my boss bought the hair salon, it came with a pedicure station. I clean and disinfect it after each use. However, I have noticed recently that there are mini flies lingering around the station. They look like fruit flies. I only see a couple a day, but they appear to come out of nowhere. I have no idea what's going on.

  • What's causing scabs around my cats neck?

My cat Cori (will be 2 in Feb.) has tons of scabs around her neck. I've checked the rest of her body as best as I could considering she doesn't like to be man-handled, and I haven't found them anywhere else. They are only around her neck, like a collar almost. She does have a couple itty bitty scabs on her cheek/jaw area. The scabs range in size, the largest being about half an inch in diameter. They look like normal bumpy scabs that anyone would get from scratches, but they're typically roundish and far bumpier. At first I thought it was from play fighting with her momma (who I also have, Daphne, she's 2 and a half), but now I'm not sure. Daphne doesn't have any scabs. I thought maybe it was a food allergy, but they're on a no corn, no wheat, no soy diet. They don't have fleas. Maybe a skin condition? Not sure what else it could be. Any thoughts?

  • What would cause a lump under my cat's chin?

My cat, Cori, just turned 1 year old last weekend and was spayed about a month ago. Tonight I noticed a lump directly in the middle of the underside of her chin. She won't let me get a good look at it, but when I touch it she doesn't seem like she's in pain. There does appear to be a tiny scab on it as well. It's hard, but not too hard. It's kind of hard to explain. It's definitely not squishy at all. I feel like it's too big of a lump to be feline acne. Not to mention she has ceramic dishes. She's just as feisty as ever; still acting like the little hellion that she is. No changes in sleep or eating habits. Could it be an abscess of some sort? She was wearing a collar but kept scratching at it because she hates it. Could it just be from her scratching? I know that the only way to know for sure is to take her to the vet, but it's a little late to be making an appointment right now. (4am my time.) I just want to get an idea of the possibilities and seriousness.

  • Why is my mamma cat being mean to her recently spayed baby?

I have two female cats; a mother and daughter. The mama has been spayed for about 8 months. Her daughter was just spayed today. The mama is being super aggressive to her baby. She's growling and won't go near her. Is this normal behavior? Will she ever be nice to her baby again? I'm afraid to leave them alone together when I go to bed because I'm afraid there will be a fight. The only way to really separate them is to put one in the cat carrier all night, which isn't really nice. Not to mention, they won't be able to go to the bathroom if they're in the carrier. Any suggestions?

  • Who should I be for Halloween that has red hair?

I'm a female with colored reddish-orange hair. I'm not sure who I should be for Halloween. My friends suggested Jessica Rabbit, but I'm having trouble finding a dress that resembles hers that isn't 500 bazillion dollars. (I was hopping for under $25.) I could also make the dress, but apparently no one carries a pattern for a strapless dress with a slit. Any other ideas of who I could be? I'd prefer to wear a costume that isn't incredibly revealing. (For example, I don't mind cleavage, but I'd like to keep my butt covered up.)

  • How do I kill fleas without parents knowing?

After a recent breakup my parents allowed me to bring my two cats home with me. They aren't cat people so this was a tough argument. The kitties finally grew on my parents, but now I notice they have fleas. The older of the two dropped a plethora of flea eggs on my bed. I'm afraid to let my parents know because there is a very high chance that I would have to get rid of my babies. Any idea of what I could do to get rid of the fleas inconspicuously? Flea bombs are out of the question because of the wait period. I have no where to go with my kitties for the allotted amount of time. Not to mention, my brothers are home during the day. They would know something was up. Any input is helpful.

  • What does it mean when my ginea pig is having green diarrhea?

My guinea pig lives with my boyfriend right now. He just informed my that my piggy is sneezing and coughing a lot and "pooping green liquid." Apparently he's eating and drinking more than he usually does. He is also apparently eating his poop more frequently as well. He's lethargic and hunched up in the corner of his cage.

We have three cats that live with our piggy. Could they have given him something? We don't feed him a lot of veggies. Sometimes he gets carrots. I'm pretty sure he gets his timothy hay everyday, but I'm not there all the time so I can't be sure.

I'm not sure what to do. I don't have any money so I can't go to the vet. I really wish I could take him tho. Any home remedies I could try? Please help.

  • How do I improve sex with my boyfriend?

We've been dating for about a year now. When we first met the sex was AMAZING! Possibly the best I've ever had. Now...it's lackluster at best. I don't want to play the blame game, but I really feel it's mostly his fault. He seems perfectly content with a bj and 5 minutes worth of sex. Here I am pretending to get off just to appease him and yet I'm feeling completely unsatisfied. I've tried to talk to him about it but he gets defensive, or doesn't say anything. I've tried to switch up the positions to hopefully make him last longer, but it doesn't work. The biggest problem is that he can no longer last more than 10 minutes at best. What should I do?
