  • What are the real statistics on swinging?

So, I am married 22 years and have recently become involved with swinging. My wife also enjoys it but struggles with her religious beliefs about it. Since we started we have both enjoyed each other and select others a lot. We play as safe as we can and do screen all potential partners. If it means anything we love each other more and have enjoyed our "alone time" together since we started. How many couples really play out there? I have read anywhere from 1-10%. Just curious. You have to have a solid relationship to try it but it is a lot of fun if you both like it. If you want to give us a lecture don't bother, we are in our 40's, pay our taxes, both college educated, and contribute positively to society. Our risk is really no different than single people dating. If you don't agree, I don't want to hear it, its our choice not yours.

  • Why is the us government trying to control us?

I have occasional anxiety and do not want to go through insurance and have the blemish on my record. I take meds occasionally, as many Americans do. However, to get the meds I either have to roll the dice with shady online companies, or go to a doctor who will gladly give me a prescription and put it on my insurance records. Aside from the costs and inconvenience of having to go to the doctor, it is on my record and what will that mean in 20 years? I am educated and do the research. I know the risks and take the proper precautions. I am not looking for heroin, just something to help me deal with major stresses like flying and important meetings at work. What is wrong with our country that we can not get an available medication without getting the government involved? Does the government assume that an adult citizen needs protection from themselves because they are not Intelligent enough to figure it out on there own? Is this not the same government that wants to give money for bridges to no where and buys misc. parts for the military at 10x (or more) than I can buy the same thing for at Home Depot. We are a supposed to be a free society but in reality, we are being treated like stupid children. If you have any solutions please speak up. I am confident there is no good ones other than to vote every current politician out of office and get the government back on the side of everyday people.
