Hello all, our class is having a debate about affirmative action and one of the arguments made against it, is that it demeans minorities. I wanted to get a general survey from minorities and ask, first does affirmative action demean or offend you in any way? and if does, why? Also, if you guys have any sources to back up your answers it would be great if you wanted to include that :) thanks!!!

Ok so I met this guy in the past week and like at first I thought he was flirting with me like even other people thought that he liked me.... ok so I finally started to like him back and he even asked me for my number and then he texts me later and he said he was into someone so I kept nagging him to tell me who and finally I figure out it was this other girl. Well after he asked who I liked and then he like even knew I liked him so I said yah it's you but now everything is gonna be totally awkward. So apparently all this time I thought he was flirting with me but I guess they were just friendly gestures. But now I have to see him tomorrow after telling him all of this and I don't know how to make everything less awkward. What should I do?

I have to do this biology Pokemon project and I have figured out everything so far, except for the karyotype. We are supposed to have: four chromosomes, 4 genes with two alleles labeled on the chromosomes for the offspring. I kept trying to research karyotypes but I still don't understand it?? How would I set this up. Thank you! You can just make up the phenotype and genotypes for the examples.

So the first day my throat was sore, the next day it was really really sore, the next day I was a lot better, but then the next day I felt nauseous and I threw up, and today I feel a lot better and am just coughing. I had no fever throughout this whole thing. What did I have?

I am doing background research and am trying to prove that where there is more population and people there will be more pollution. i have literally been searching for 2 hours and cant find an article to back me up. can u find any sources that will help me prove this besides Wikipedia.

So this has happened before but not this much. There is like this clicking-feeling, like something is clicking in the back of head each time i take a step. I am doing a report on Homer, in a few sources I have found that his parents were Epikaste and Telemachus, but weren't these mythological creatures? and isn't Homer a historical figure. Am I wrong, are Epikaste and Telemachus real people? Thanks!

So I'm thinking of starting a tutoring club at my school because everyone says I am a good tutor, and I just love to see people happy when they understand something. My school already has an after school tutoring thing but it sucks, the people are just in there so it'll look good on transcripts. Do you think it would be weird though to start a homework tutoring club if there's already one at our school?

So I have a cold i think. Well my nose is stopped up and my throat hurts quite a bit, I am also a little light headed. I don't think I have a fever. But when I got up this morning I felt awful so I stayed home. Should I go to school tomorrow and just suck it up? Or should I stay home one more day?

SO today in class my teacher was calling on us randomly to answer questions, which really freaks me out because that is my worse class and I was really worried she was going to call on me. I am a really anxious person btw. So today(happened last year too and really anytime I get really nervous about something) my heart started pounding like triple the normal rate, my hand and arms started to shake, I was literally shaking and then I started getting goosebumps and I felt a little light headed. It went away after she stopped doing this. What happened?
