How do you get smoke odor out of gold jewelry?
Recently (In the same trip to get the clothes in a previous question) I picked up my set of earrings from my parents. Again, since they're heavy smokers it smells terribly of smoke. The earrings are gold (I believe 14k but it's been a while since I've worn them and I cannot see the markings on the gold any longer), 19 years old-ish, and have small diamonds in the setting. I'm not sure if they're glued in or not so soaking them in water is a no-go. How can I remove the smell of smoke from my gold earrings while cleaning them/Sterilizing them?
2 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoHow to get smoke-smell out of handwash clothing.?
Recently I went to my parents house (who are HEAVY smokers) to pick up some of my clothing. Upon picking them up, knowing they smelled horribly like smoke I realized some of these items were hand wash only. So, biting the bullet I put my clothes in cold water in the bathtub with detergent and 1 cup of Vinegar. This didn't remove the smell at all. I tried it again with 3 cups of vinegar and STILL they smell heavily of smoke. The clothing I put into the machine came out fine, still a bit of a smell but not noticeable enough to make me gag. What can I do? Should I put these delicate items into my top load washing machine? Do I need more vinegar? Or should I be trying something else?
3 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoHow do I keep the waves in my hair?
After I get out of a shower and let my hair air dry, it becomes very wavy. But as soon as I brush it the wave disappears and I'm left with straight hair, with only a minor wave. Is there any way to keep my hair wavy like when I get out of the shower, while being able to brush/maintain it so it's not frizzy, knotted, and all over?
5 AnswersHair1 decade agoColour correction question?
I dyed my hair an orange-auburn about a year ago (And it's faded quite a bit). The colour itself is fine, but I'd really like to go back to my natural hair colour, as the two aren't very close in colour. I'm not interested in re-dying it the orange-auburn and I cannot find my hair colour in self-dying products (It's a brown-auburn with bits of red and blonde as far as I can tell), would colour correction let me go back to my natural hair colour? And how much would it cost to get it done with hair that is about 2-3 inches past my shoulders? Thank you <3
1 AnswerHair1 decade agoPiercing my ears again?
About 1.5 years ago I pierced my ears for the second time on the lobe. After a year I had gotten fed up with the fact the piercer screwed up the left ear and made it far too close to the edge of my skin. I removed the piercings and they have been without an earring for 4 (almost 5) months. How long do you recommend I wait to get them re-pierced (a little higher this time).

I've looked at the bodyline website and while their prices are fantastic their 'queen size' is 6 inches too small for my bust. Does anyone know of any site or shop in the Seattle, WA area that would carry Lolita clothes that would fit a 46-37-44" woman?
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories1 decade agoHow can I remove traces of Marijuana from my system within 3 days... see inside for details?
I live with people who tend to smoke pot alot. Sadly, I got a whiff of said pot and am a bit frightened that it may show up in my drug test even though I did not smoke it. Is there anyway, if it IS Indeed in my system, to remove the undesirable particulates within 3 days? I've heard drinking lots of water works but due to the fact that THC is stored in fat, I was wondering how much water I would indeed have to drink? Additional info to determine answers:
Weight: 176
Height: 5'4"
Metabolism: Decent. Not extremely fast but, decent. Average.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated considering it'd be unfair to lose a job because of someone else's stupidity.
