  • What do all four of these movies have in common: Inception, The Departed, Serenity, Crazy Stupid Love.?

What do their plot, story lines, character development, and themes have in common? I'm not looking for anything relating to crew or cast members like DiCapprio being in two out of the four. I'm looking for ideas as to what the four movies (all four) have in common. For instance, they all have multiple main characters, not just a main male and female lead. Things like that, but also things that relate to the stories they tell, such as they all involve love stories in one form or another.

  • What are my best options for a flight to, and a hotel in, Seattle, near CenturyLink Stadium?

For the December 2nd NFL game between the Seahawks and Saints. I've been looking at packages on Kayak.com and Priceline as well as a few other sites, and for flights from LAX to SEATAC airport plus hotel for about a week from Wednesday November 27 to Wednesday December 4, the best I've come across was a little over 600 for a decent hotel close to the stadium, and as far as a ticket to the game I've found them for as low as 130. Got any suggestions as far as comfortable, economical hotels near the stadium? How about cheap flights? Will prices go down between now and then, should I wait? When's the best time to buy? From what site/source? And how about tickets for the game? I'm not necessarily looking for dirt cheap, crappy motel, but am looking for something on the low end at around or below the prices I've already found. What are the best options? Oh, also I'd be looking for a seat in the handicapped section of the stadium. I've got a wheelchair.

  • What programs should I download with Photo Shop from Creative Cloud?

Today I decided to finally get acquainted with Photo Shop for the purposes of creating some fictional maps to go along with a published work. Never tried it before, and I'm a little confused. Photo Shop is now part of something bigger called Creative Cloud, is that right? And Creative Cloud has several different aspects to it, like Adobe Ideas? I'm wondering exactly what parts of the Creative Cloud would be worth downloading for what I want to do which would include drawing maps and blueprints of cities, towns, buildings, ships etc. complete with legend symbols, terrain features and so on. What plan should I go with? Buying individual programs, or just going with the whole package? And it seemed like with the full package they want an annual commitment, does that mean they charge one whole year at once, or do they still charge in segments, one payment per month?

  • When it comes to World Building while writing fiction, where do you like to start?

I've spent some time creating a fictional futuristic universe that involves the human race surviving on generation ships after the earth dies and am curious as to whether other people have a specific process or formula they follow that helps them stay organized and efficient during the process.

  • Got any brilliant stories from history that knock your socks off?

I recently read about how Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and how during war time he sent random books to British soldiers held captive by the Germans and beginning on the third page of every book so it wouldn't be discovered by prison guards looking at page one, Doyle poked pin holes beneath letters, as a way to deliver messages to the inmates about how the war was going on the outside. This story seriously amazed me and got me wondering, do you know any historical tales of incredible minds like this?

  • How do I link to a paypal account from YouTube?

On my PayPal account I've created a 'Donate' button and have the code for it, but when I try to paste it as a link in a YouTube video, or post it in the info below the video, neither method works. In the info it comes out as the really long code, not the neat little 'Donate' button. And it won't let me put it in the video at all, as far as I can tell. How do I do this?

  • Would you recommend being a member of Triple A, or a different club while road tripping across the USA?

Which club would you say is best to belong to? Does it make a difference? Would being a member of multiple clubs help?

  • I did a search for the Latin translation of the word "Right" and got the following. Is it correct?

legitiums, iustus, vox vocis, rectus, dexter.

Are these correct? It was a random dictionary site that I've never used before so I want to be sure.

  • In Doctor Who is it ever explained in the early episodes why Time Lords can't prevent World War?

I've recently finished season one of the revived Doctor Who series from 2005, and begun season two. I've wondered, have past episodes from the original seasons ever dealt with the question of what exactly the Time Lords are/were capable of preventing/causing such as a world war? Or are there episodes from season two or beyond that I haven't gotten to yet that deal with such issues? In the 2005 season, there was talk of preventing 'World War 3." Why is it beyond the doctor to stop Hitler from rising or the Titanic from sinking or the people of Pompeii from being buried by lava and ash? I know there was the episode where Rose screwed things up by rescuing her father from getting hit by that car, but how is the Doc able to prevent some things but not others? For instance going back before Rose's father was hit and telling him not to park in that spot on that day in his future?

  • A few Magic the Gathering questions about cards with certain abilities?

I'm looking for the names of cards with the following abilities:

    Cards that grant extra turns.

    Cards that grant extra lives.

Cards that increase your Mana pool/basic lands aside from the one basic land allowed per turn.

Cards that allow a player to search their library.

Mostly I'm looking for blue, black, and white cards that do these things, but red, green, and colorless are also helpful. Thanks!

  • Who is the biggest fictional asshole or witch (with a capital B) in TV shows or movies?

My favorites would include Dr. House, Sawyer of LOST, & Jayne of Firefly. Excluding those, who are others that you love to hate or hate to love, or just straight up hate. Not looking for down right evil people as answers, although they could fall in the category of jerks as well, but more so semi-good guys/gals who are just mean, ruthless or rude. You're more likely to get best answer if you can name a female character, as I think they might be more difficult to come up with.

  • Can you come up with a first and last name using all of the following letters: Maureen Jill Sidney?

Every single one of the letters has to be used. At least once, and no more than once and it has to be a completely new name, none of the original names can remain intact.

  • How do I add a discussion board to a new Facebook group?

I created a group about 2 years ago & it has a discussion board on which several topics have been posted. I created a new one fairly recently and all it has is the wall to write on or post video/pictures etc. There are no tabs at the top of the group page where I can navigate between 'Info', 'Wall', 'Photos', & 'Discussion Board'. In fact, in the new group I can't even write up a description of the group under 'Info'. Both groups are set as secret & I've changed that setting in the new one to see if that would open up a discussion board but no matter what I set it to, nothing new happens. Why?
