  • How long until an animal is considered abandoned in Indiana?

So, I'm thinking about boarding small exotic pets. My biggest concern is that someone would abandon their animal and I'd have no idea what to do with it. So, my question is, how long after the date the people were supposed to pick the animal on, after no contact from the owner is it considered abandonment? I live in Indiana if it helps. I thought it was three days, but I don't have a clue. Thanks!

  • Good rat names?

Hi! My girl, Turbo just had her babies March 24th. Ten!! Lol. I checked, and believe there to be four boys and six girls. I already decided I would name one boy Templeton(Lol) Spencer, and Sherlock, and one girl Missy, one Amy(since their fathers name is Rory) and another Clara. So now, I need one more boy name, and three girls. Any ideas?!

  • Is this a hooded rat?

Would this rat be considered hooded even though the stripe doesn't go all the way down? And what about his blaze? Thanks!

  • Pea-sized lump right under/next to my nursing cat's teat?

I have a queen that just had kittens five days ago. The kittens are healthy and being taken care of and fed, but there's a lump about the size of a pea right under her nipple. She had bloody diarrhea a couple days before she had her kittens, and still does, but she does let them nurse. Is this something I should worry about? Could it be the beginning of mastitis? And will I end up having to bottle feed the kittens? I just noticed the lump today, and have tried nothing. She's a first time mommy, and she turned 1 in May. Thanks :)
