My parents decided to put an alarm system on our house that causes a few little beeps to sound in their room every time a door opens. It's rather annoying and makes it hard for me to go out at night. Is there an easy way to block the sensor?

My best friend and I want to make bracelets that we can sell and give the money to the humane society or an organization that helps stop cruelty to animals. We want to have a little bracelet stand at the plaza, or in front of Wal-mart, or something like that.

Our parents told us you have to have a permit to sell things in public places. How do we go about getting one?

Also- any ideas on how to get our name out there? We really want to help make a difference in our community and animals' lives.

My dad is a great man; he's loving and funny and helpful and very giving.

But he's been going out on random nights of the week and staying away late. When he comes home he's drunk- not sloppy drunk, but clumsy, happy, and unthinking. And he drives himself home.

My mom has tried to talk to him about it, i've heard her yell, but i guess nothings come out of it.

I'm scared for him, and other people on the road, and i'm scared for me because i don't know what i'd do without him.

please, please help me. i want to talk to him about it but i'm scared and i dont' know what to say. i just want it to stop, and i want to be more brave. please tell me what to do.

My natural hair is sort of thin but not terribly, and dirty blonde. Its been this way for a long time and i was sick of it, so a couple of friends and i chose a lighter shade at the store and dyed it. It was the first time i've ever dyed my hair.

It turned out much lighter but almost a yellow color. I hate it. But my hair feels really dry now and I'm scared to dye it again and I really just don't know what to do.

I want it to be a clearer, softer, more natural blonde.

Please, please.. I could use any creative ideas, guidance, suggestions?

I have a really flat belly button. Like it doesn't really have much of a hood over it (the flap part that you would get pierced). The skin above is pretty stretchy and i can pinch it pretty easily but I've heard some belly buttons just can't be pierced. Please help me :)

I was looking at a book earlier that was completely written in instant messages between three girls (characters in the book). The book was for teens and a friend of mine needed to know the title. Anybody know what it is??? 10 points for first to answer!!!!

Okay- i've had this friend for a while, and we always did everything together. We were like peas and carrots. Every year we went camping together and went to the zoo. It was like, our thing.

But lately we haven't been talking as much. i have lots of other friends, and i'm extremely social, and she's just the opposite. She never calls me or wants to hang out anymore, so we're really not friends like we used to be. I've tried to get back with her, but i think it's over. It's just not official; i've never said anything to her and i don't want to either.

The thing is that i love these camping trips and want to bring other friends with me instead. I just don't want her to find out because i'm afraid she'll feel hurt, in case she didn't realize the friendship had ended, more or less.

I really really want to continue this trip with other friends, but i don't want to hurt her. We used to be best friends but we're just not anymore.

What should i do? I want to do this, but not hurt her.

Is there really a virus on youtube? Does anybody know anything about it? I'm worried.

Its pronounced exactly like the city in Italy. Personally i think its very pretty and fiminine, but i'd like to see what the public thinks.

My half sister, who i've only known about for 2 years, is pregnant. This would be nice cause i love babies, but i never see my half sister- she doesn't call, visit, email, write letters- nothing, so i can't REALLY call her my sister.

the other thing is, she totally abuses my dad. The only time she ever talks to him, (who is her biological father, but she has a dad) is when she's asking for money. My dad, being respectful and following his duties as a parently figure to this girl he hardly knows, helps pay for college.

But she hardly says thank you. She never calls him or writes. I think it's rude.

Now she's having a baby and is expecting MORE money. I am having bad feelings about this hardly known, rude, flightly half sister i've only met once.

I don't like that she's abusing my dad and my family. I want to like this baby and have fun with a half-neice, but i know that won't happen.

I feel bad having these feelings for my "sister", but it's hard not to. How do i deal with this?

One of my best friends is a totally awesome girl- we do everything together. we trust each other. we grew up together.

the problem is, i have lots of other close friends and people i like to hang out with, and she always gets jealous and upset when i hang out with other people.

sometimes she gets to the point where she starts an arguement with me and yells.

i would like to talk to her about it, but i don't have any clue what i should say. I'm also afraid she'll get all defensive and yelly.

this is like, the only time we've EVER argued. i'm shocked.

There's this kid at school who follows me around non-stop. And i never see it coming, either. I'll be getting a drink and look up and BAM, he's right there staring at me.

or i'll be walking around a corner in the hall, and BAM, he's right there in front of me, staring at me like i'm something to eat.

and it's like this, at least 5 times a day.

My family found out a few months ago that one of my dad's long ago girlfriends got pregnant with him right before they broke up and moved on. this woman had the nerve to call and inform us 13 years later. we're all shocked, because we've always had this wonderful family-mom, dad, son, and daughter. this extra daughter we just found out about (who lives far away and isn't going to be a part of our life) almost makes me feel angry- or jealous. i guess i was just always my daddy's only daughter and i felt special. and now she's here. i feel sort of betrayed, but it doesn't make sense.

is this a normal reaction? What can i do?

Okay, so my hair has always parted right down the center. I've had bangs a long time ago, but instead of going straight down like bangs should, they part and go off to either side of my face. i really really want to get bangs again (the kind that go straight across) but i don't want them to part like that! Is there anything i can do with my hair a few weeks before hand to help my bangs when i get them cut?- any hair stylists out there???
