I have looked but I am confused. I had a bill that came out for a surgery in May of 2k10, and I went and paid it today.

The principal was $425.74 and they charged me $860 that is over 2x for only 10 months......7 months outstanding??? That is friggin' ridiculous and SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE AN ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!

I offered them $720 and they said 'Absolutely NOT!!" I also said, 'can you at least put in as a 'PAID IN FULL' status and they said 'Sure, We can do that, IF you sign and pay' so I did, and what they did was give my a stupid paid in full letter to the people I owed the debt to.

Do I have ANY sort of way to vindicate myself at all?

I am not a deadbeat ....I was in an accident and I went to the hospital to ONE desk and signed ONE paper...why are 35 people asking for money? How is ANYONE supposed to even give $25 a month to 35(actually 27) different places?? I am paying over $400 a month alltogether right now for these bills but the ones who aren't getting money are calling me 3x a day.

If you went to a restaurant and got dinner they aren't gonna give me a bill from the waitress, host, cook, and dishwasher. How do hospitals get away with this...I mean there are $650 in "administration fees" and fees from each individual place too.....WTF??? Thanks for any new info.

I bought a brand new motorcycle in Sept 2009 with a sticker price of $10,999 @ 10% and with a $2000 down payment and $300 per month for the last 16 months and my new statement says I still owe $13,333 WTF? I am just stupid or does that seem incorrect?

Can some new vehicle purchasers tell me what the difference between ticket price and out the door owed experiences they have had?

A close member of my family has a child with a woman ( who had/has custody) but the mother has been put under watch by the courts for drug use and the children can't live with her now.

She is trying to give the children to the Father's brother, the father's brothers wife's sister, etc....anyone but the father.

Can she do this? I mean there was no abuse to the children by him, doesn't he have the RIGHT to his children? or can she now just choose where to send the kids?

This is in Washington state, and imho it's total bs. Apparently he has some sort of interview over the phone, but there is absolutely no history to have him be suspect in any way shape or form and I feel the only ethicalh thing would be to send the children to the father no questions asked whatsoever.

I have been googling and goooling but I can't seem to find what the rights of the non-custodial parent are after the custodial parent has had their custodial rights revoked.

It will overheat after only a few minutes of driving, but if you turn the heater and fan on all the way it goes down.

One other weird issue is if I stuff the accelerator and it goes into the passing gear the temp needle drops like a rock. Otherwise , neither RPM's or speed help at all. Even 70 on the freeway and it's still going up, but stuff the gas, it downshifts and then it goes down again? My thoughts are that it needs to be flushed out, What's your opinion? TIA

I was unaware that a Kodiak bear will kill another male, but I was totally dumbfounded when I learned that they will totally dismember and devour the other bear. Have you ever heard of this?

I have a series of pictures that my buddy took while being a whitewater rafting guide. He says that the bear aggressively guarded the meatpile for four straight days and then he took the head and the spinal cord and trotted of leaving what was left to other scavengers. I actually am in possession of the pictures and there is a very clear picture of the bear walking with the other bears head in his mouth and the remnants of it's spine dragging on the ground.

Is this picture valuable? It just seems to be a rare thing to me, but pfffft just to be honest..I have no idea what I am talking about when it comes to this...so hell maybe it happens all the time and I just was unaware.

I would appreciate any input you all may have on this though. I want to post the pics up on my blog, but I want to make sure that they aren't worth something before I post my friends pictures up. TIA

I want to install xp mode on my fresh installation of Windows 7 Ultimate. It is running on an Athlan 64 X2 4200+ and my motherboard is an Asus A8n32-sli. I did 'some' research on this and it seems that there are multiple different batches of 4200's...how do I tell the difference?

Is there a way I can tell which one I have? I also looked around in the bios, and I don't see anything that even remotely seems to be AMD-V. I have a feeling that it is the manchester and simply won't support hardware virtualizatio, but......whatever, I guess I can still run a vm without hardware support. I could also upgrade the proc to something newer that would support it.

I have the key, but when the dl's were available the one I got is corrupt. I can't find one ANYWHERE. I have been looking for 3 hours and even the torrents are all crap. I would really appreciate it if someone had a link. TIA

I made a deal with an isp...(I'm sure you know which one) and they said that with my 2 year service contract that they will give me a laptop. I agreed to this, but now I am sure they will send me some craptastic knockoff netbook.

IMHO a netbook is a netbook, but a laptop has a larger screen, large hdd, and an optical drive.

I am positive I will get a netbook, but I believe that it's NOT a laptop and therefore nullifies the contract.

What do you think? TIA
