How much would the total price out the door be for a vehicle with a sticker price of $10,999?
I bought a brand new motorcycle in Sept 2009 with a sticker price of $10,999 @ 10% and with a $2000 down payment and $300 per month for the last 16 months and my new statement says I still owe $13,333 WTF? I am just stupid or does that seem incorrect?
Can some new vehicle purchasers tell me what the difference between ticket price and out the door owed experiences they have had?
I live in Washington state.
Thanks for the depressing answer. How the heck can that be legal? I mean an $11k loan costs me double almost PLUS the interest??? Wow that's rough!!!!
Wait You said 10%=1,999 X 4years = 7999 but wouldn't it be 10%= 1099 x (5year loan) 5495
5495 +10999 16496 -2000 14,496?

the additional cost of 10% compound interest is very high for a borrower. go research it.
you are not the only one who has failed to realize the TRUE cost of such an agreement.
notwhtstanding that, check the statement and make sure all your payments were credited.

to get the out the door price you take the sticker price then add interest then subtract your down payment add tax title license fee and that should get you the total price so i can add this up for you'
sticker price 10,999
interest 10%= 1,999 x how many years lets say 4= 7,996
new price= 18,995 + tax and title 1,000 (guess)
price = 19,995 - 2,000
price 17,995
300 a month times 16 months = 4,800
17,995 - 4,800 = 13,195
still owed 13,195 so yes i would think that is how much you still owe sorry :(

It on what state you live in, it sounds like rule of 78, some state still allow it but most don't.
