Got a call from a collection agency attempting to get money on an old phone bill going back to 2006. I don't even recall the debt! We just got a mortgage on a home 2 years ago and it wasn't on the credit report then. Now it has suddenly appeared and they are threatening a judgement against me. Any help would be appreciated :)

My son (16) is dating a girl (15) who decided to go bowling with another guy from school (according to her "just friends"). My son was upset about this and I feel he is right to be. I'm just curious how others out there view this. Is he over reacting or is this unacceptable behavior...your thoughts please!

You are getting ready to go run some errands and you know that you won't have time to stop. You ask the child to "try" to go to the bathroom. The child starts to have a tantrum because he says he doesn't have to go. You KNOW he hasn't gone in a long time. Do you give up and go run your errands or do you sit while the child continues to have a tantrum for another TWENTY minutes still claiming he does not have to go???? Would you think it appropriate to make him stay in the bathroom for those twenty minutes?

A child is offered a meal consisting of pizza, a veggie and a fruit. You hold off giving them the fruit (since this is their favorite) until they eat some of the pizza and veggie. If they eat then they can have the fruit. If they don't eat then they don't get the fruit (which then means they have eaten nothing). Would you agree or disagree with this strategy???

If your child absolutely refuses to eat vegetables, would you cut them off from food (other than vegetables) altogether until the child finally gives in and eats them out of sheer hunger? What if the child was so headstrong that he never gave in and it's going on day 5??? Would you hold your ground and wait it out to win the battle? Would you consider this abusive or extreme behavior as a caregiver?

....SOOOOO many dead ends....we are extremely frustrated!!! Are there people you can hire that can do all the leg work and know all the tricks to get the job done? We have completely exhausted all leads and are so tired of all the letdowns. Thanks!

Finally got up the nerve to buy an LCD television. I get it home and set it up and BLAM...huge light spot in the middle. I have adjusted the settings, including the brightness which has helped, but it is still there just as clear as a bell. I am so bummed! I plan on bringing it back and exchanging it but I'm wondering...what causes this to happen????

I am thinking about purchasing an LCD television and I am to say the least....CONFUSED. My husband and I went and looked at them last night. We thought that the Vizio name brand had the clearest picture quality, but everyone we talk to says that Vizio is the worst! To look at them, I think the opposite!!! What are your thoughts...I need some good advice before I go spending a ton of money. Thanks in advance.

I'm confused and keep in mind, you'll have to keep this in simple terms for me! I am looking to purchase a resistor for my RCA projector tv. The model number is p52730ck. If I am looking at this correctly the resistor is an R135 26 K OHM 5%. Where in the heck can I purchase this part??? Ok. I asked this same question last night, however, I think I need to clarify it a bit. Is it appropriate for a married man with three children to go out every friday and not return home until approximately 1 or 2 in the morning? On many occasions he will go out early in the morning, return to maybe eat dinner and then go off with his friends in the evening again. In his defense (and I know a lot of you out there will think I'm oblivious) I do not believe that he is cheating. Let me know your opinions! Thanks!!! I have recently acquired a toy Yorkshire Terrier. She is absolutely adorable but I never imagined that anything so small could stink so much! Even after I give her a bath she begins to smell like doggie very quickly. I'd like to keep her but I can't deal with the dog smell. Suggestions? Any dog groomers out there with some helpful hints?

Is it common knowledge that all men will cheat at some point, whether it be frequently throughout their life or just once. My husband and I are debating and can not agree on this topic. One feels that there are still nice guys out there that would never cheat. The other believes that all men cheat eventually. We need HONEST answers only and as much feedback as possible. Where does this style originate from? I have heard that it was the way that men let other men in jail know that they were homosexual and it somehow became a cool fad on the outside. If that's true then I feel bad for people that do it today. It's like they are inviting homosexuality without even realizing it. JUST WONDERING.....

We're going to the beach for a week. We rented a timeshare in a town called Corrolla, North Carolina. Its in the Outer Banks near Kitty Hawk. Just wanted to know if there were any interesting sights to see( I know its not far from where the first flight took place) or fun things to do besides the beach. Any shopping, ect.? My hair is SO DRY and full of split ends. I get my hair cut regularly ( every 4 to 6 weeks). I use conditioner. I'm at my wits end. Any miracle cures out there? Nothing too expensive (somewhere in the $10-$20 range).
