Do you think Indias pitches would be so batsmen freindly if they had world class fast bowlers like Pakistan?
Does the fact that India has not had a decent fast bowler since Kapil Dev have any bearing on the pitches being so batsman friendly. We know its not geographical, Pakistan have proved that in the past with their pitches.
9 AnswersCricket8 years agoIf you want a theological argument based on Christianity should you read the bible first?
It makes sense to me, just don't try and decipher every verse - that's already been done and for every time its deciphered another 10 different meaning seem to pop up.
If your Atheist, try not to believe any of it, it will just confuse you.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDo you think other nations are jealous of the ashes?
The continual comments in here putting them down even when they know it may not be a battle of the best, or a battle for world supremacy, and silly suggestions such as it should be a three way competition make it seem likely that there is some jealousy.
Its not a jealousy of the elitism or ranking. Its a jealousy of how much importance the two oldest teams in test cricket place on them and what they mean to both the countries and players over and above any other trophy or competitor.
9 AnswersCricket8 years agoWhat do you think of having a international ground keeper panel ?
To avoid pitches and surfaces that could be construed as favorable to a home team would it be beneficial to fairness to make the head groundskeeper from a neutral country along the same grounds as the umpires and keep the ground staff for local knowledge?.
Most countries in the ICC seem to play in very favorable conditions when they have control of the playing surface and several countries have a huge disparity between home and away tests that cannot be explained by travel in the days of air transport.
I feel this might go some way towards leveling out home ground advantages from the extent they seem to dictate results.

Then she can jump on a refugee boat to Christmas Island in the knowledge that Indonesia will not want her back as that will set a precedent for refugees being returned to their port of departure.
She can then be taken to Port Morseby and jump on a flight to Brisbane as an Australian Citizen in the full knowledge that the Australian Government has paid for 90% of the trip and all her expenses including a RAN convoy from Indonesian waters.

5 AnswersCricket8 years agoWhen did god create dinosaur fossils? Was it deleted from Genesis Ch1?
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven, and dinosaur fossils so that man may argue senselessly over creation.
To all Darwinists and Atheists, I'm aware of your belief that god did not create the earth or all creatures have evolved to survive and don't really need to hear that here. Its a question for scholars in old testament theory.

6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAFL Ladder no Bombers in 8?
Heres a thought, Knock Essendons points off and give number 5 a bye for an elimination game in the second round
Carlton & WCE are unlikely to make the 8 if Essendon stay and 2 points seperate 7 from 4. Wouldnt that heat up the fight for 5 if you miss out on the top 4
feedback anyone?
2 AnswersAustralian Rules8 years agoWhat is the worse piece of umpiring you have ever seen at test level?
For me Vikram Rajus LBW decision to tie the test in Chennai ín 86, India should have won that game and I believe the decision was partly due to the tied test possibility.
10 AnswersCricket8 years agoWhy does the umpire panel have no Indians in it ?
This is the ICC Elite Umpire panel as it currently stands
Richard Illingworth - England
Bruce Oxenford - Australia
Aleem Dar - Pakistan
Steve Davis - Australia
Ian Gould - England
Tony Hill - New Zealand
Marais Erasmus - South Africa
Rod Tucker - Australia
Kumar Dharmasena - Sri Lanka
Richard Kettleborough - England
Nigel Llong - England
Paul Reiffel - Australia
As you can see it has Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, 4 each of Aussies and Englishmen but no Indians, is there a reason for this?

6 AnswersCricket9 years agoHow many test matches India has won in Australia and how many Australia has won in India since 1969 ?
I have seen "How many test matches India has won in Australia and how many Australia has won in India since 1970?" several times
If you look at 1969 then both countries have played 30 tests in each others country which is an even number and a fair comparison, so what are the winning tests and series in that time for India in Australia and Australia in India?
