Remembering an EpiPen does have costs associated with making them, it costs to research how to make them correctly and safely that need to be covered, along with years of testing, Mylan is a for-profit company with taxes and employees to pay, what would a fair, reasonable and profitable price be?

  • Objectively, does Amazon pay it's authors fairly?

I hear a lot of people say they don't, but honestly I know people will always say they don't get paid enough for what they do. I've tried to find evidence that says one way or the other whether or not they are paid fairly and all I can find is people saying they deserve more but not pointing to anything other than their own opinion as evidence. Can anyone point to any evidence that they deserve more, something along the lines of "company *** pays *** percent more than what Amazon does and they are still a profitable and healthy company"

  • If a law firm were to have 20 equity partners how many lawyer would you expect to work at the firm?

What is the typical ratio? I know it probably varies widely from firm to firm but what is the average?

  • What is the point of stock?

Why would someone be intested in buying stock? I recently read that a lot of stocks do not pay dividends and that they give no voting rights to the owner of said stock. So why would someone buy that stock? I understand that some people buy it so that they can sell it to someone else years from now for more money. So would this statement the following statement be accurate, and if not why?

"The only reason to buy a stock that pays no dividends and also gives you no voiting rights is so that in the future you can con some other bonehead into paying more money for it than you did?"

If that statement is true, why buy a stock?

  • What would happen if the Westboro Baptist Church was designated a hate group?

What would happen if the Westboro Baptist Church was designated a hate group?????

I mean seriously, they don't exactly have a stellar reputation. Would there be a change to their tax situation (currently they are taxed like all other churches)? It makes no since to me. I could join the American Nazi Party right now, if I wanted to, and I would be breaking no laws, they even have a website... http://www.americannaziparty.com/faq.php

Just to be clear, I do not support the Westboro Baptist Church, I just don't see what the government designating them as a hate group would do, the Southern Poverty Law Center and most other organizations already designate them as that. Would something else happen if the Feds declared them a hate group? Would it change their tax status? Would it give law enforcement more leeway in their investigations? Would it change anything, other than giving them an arbitrary status they would probably ignore anyways?

  • Best afternoon game tomorrow?

    Tampa Bay vs Denver

    Pittsburgh vs Baltimore

    Cleveland vs Oakland

    Cincinnati vs San Diego

These are your only options, what game do you think will be the closest scoring wise, I don't care about the 1:00 p.m. games or the 8:20 or 8:30 games... Speaking purely about the games listed what one game would you like to see?

  • What are some different variations about Vampires?

I get it... They drink blood to live, die from a stake through the heart, sunlight hurts them (usually), I understand the basics... Every story has a few changes to it though:

Vampire Diaries: to become a Vampire you have to die with vampire blood in you...

Twilight: They sparkle, some vampires have different ability/traits (reading minds, seeing future)...

What are some other one? Anyone know of any variations from stories from not-so-recent vampire TV Shows, movies, books or legends?
