Have any epic, moving "soundtrack"-type songs for me?
Peter Jackson's Hobbit films have amazing credit songs-- Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire," Billy Boyd's "The Last Goodbye," and Neil Finn's "Song of the Lonely Mountain." I'd LOVE some more songs like these: rich and thoughtful, low and gentle, almost brooding.

I finished my book, and now I'm looking at titles. Out of these options, which title would most likely lead you to pull the book off the shelf?
Soldier
Tomorrow We Die
The Renegade's Triumph
A Tale of Dying Heroes
Grey Country
As a side note, this book is part of a trilogy. Which sounds most like a series title?
2 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoThe most meaningful ending?
My series is told from the POV of the hero's friends. The hero's job is to end a curse was given to his friends as punishment for their lust for a certain kind of power. The hero has this power. In the last book, he makes his friends think he's the "bad guy", because he knows (and they don't) that in order to reverse the curse, they must reject the power he has by killing him. He knows they won't kill him unless they think he's a "villain"; hence the deception.
QUESTION: Should I make it a happy ending and have the being that gave the hero the power bring him back to life, or should I make it tragic and let him stay dead, causing his friends to be very sad when they realize what he'd done?
Which would you rather read? (Of course I will make the decision myself in the end, so don't give me "the lecture". I would just like some input from those who like to read.)
5 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoNew nickname for college (not a baby name, but close enough...)?
I'm putting this here cuz this is where I'll get answers...
My first name is "Elizabeth" but I really don't go by that. All my life, my friends have called me Lizzy/Lizzie-- but the thing is, I hate that nickname (long story). I'm starting college and have a chance to give myself a new nickname. What are some nicknames based on my real name that aren't too weird?
All I can think of is "Lissa"...
12 AnswersBaby Names8 years agoHow long to carve wood?
How long does it take a skilled worker to hand-carve a set of (4) chair/table legs? (Like, sheraton style or something)
What about a simple wooden toy without too much detail?
An ornate picture frame?
I don't need it too accurate, just a general idea. 14 hours? 36? 2?

1 AnswerWords & Wordplay9 years agoPLEASE help! How to not laugh when others laugh?
I am acting in a play as a rather funny character, and I've practiced it so much it's not funny, but as soon as the audience starts laughing during rehearsals I can't help breaking character and laughing or smiling too. My play is in TWO days!! PLEASE give some recommendations for not laughing at others' laughter! :(
6 AnswersTheater & Acting9 years agoShould I write my story as book or a manga-ish thing?
I've got a story which contains "magic"ish elements and a plot that would work well with manga, but I love writing and I hate to pass up the chance of making a real film out of it possibly (not that it would...but if it were that good, ya know?). :p What do you think? Which should I do it as?
