  • Just found myself wondering...?

Ok, for argument's sake let's say that such a character as Jesus existed. And that he claimed to be in possession of certain knowledge or claimed to be the Messiah.

Do you think that maybe he'd have been viewed in the same way that people like L.Ron Hubbard are viewed today? A select few got pulled in while the rest of the world thought he was crazy. Not a threat, but full blown barmy.

Could he have actually been pulling the same kind of stunt, for the same sort of reasons?

I don't believe any of the stories. Just been pondering how religions got started lately.

    What does everyone else reckon?

  • A question about unforgivable sin?

I have heard Alot of Christians state that the only unforgivable sin is to not believe in Jesus as the Saviour.

My question is; what good will starting to believe in Jesus actually do? Since the sin which I am apparently guilty of is unforgivable, even by God's standards.

Just curious on how that one is worked out. Not out to offend anyone.

  • Where was Noah supposed to have built his ark?

How do Christians explain his ability to gather polar bears, camels and penguins all at one time for example?

Not meaning to be rude, or attack beliefs. I'm just curious about how people explain it.

  • A question to christians?

I have noticed that there are some christians out there who view other religions, such as buddhism, as satanic. Just wondering why that is, what arguments you have for it and what proof you have. No offence to the christian faith intended by this question. I'm just curious about what fuels such beliefs.
