  • Dark night rises broken mask Blu-Ray?

I got the Dark knight rises Blu-ray with the broken mask... I found out that it is a LIMITED EDITION!! It is supposed to have a silver sticker on the front. Mine doesn't have one though. Is there any way to find out what number it is without that sticker?

  • How do I deal with a child with Aspergers and a whole slew of other stuff?

Okay bear with me this is going to be long.

I am step parent to a seven year old boy who at 2 was diagnosed with mild Aspergers, OCD, and ADHD. I have always been a part of his life. I was at the hospital when he was born even. His momma is either a tad unstable or just truly, truly knows her limits and wants the best for him... At age 6 months she gave him to his father and I because she was living in filth and didn't want him there in it. He was with us until our daughter was born 2 months premature and she also 7 months pregnant took him back to her home full time (clean home) Since we were back and forth to the NICU several times a day everyday. She had him for about 3 months before we started exchanging every 2 weeks. Then she decided to move 6 hours away and we got him on holidays and summer break. Well, she was there just over a year before she had a breakdown and gave him back to us where he has remained since. She did move back to the area and has been having him on weekends until recently when he ran away from home.

So that is his basic living history. I only added it because i feel it may have a barring on why he behaves the way he does.

Around age 3 we all noticed he was behind his peers and had some odd behaviors. We took him to a doctor who after several visits and tests diagnosed him with PDD, (a mild form of Aspegers) OCD, ADHD, I think there was something else but i cannot remember for sure. So, we knew there was a reason for his behavior but got ZERO help with how to deal with him. He did do into something called Parents As Teachers (basically like preschool but has programs that are made to fit each individual child's needs) He did really well in that... While he was living far away he started kindergarten at age 5 and didn't do too well. I think he may have just been a bit immature to go yet. Just from experience I think it's better if you are closer to 6 rather that barley 5. Okay, so he came to live with us before he was through with that school year. He seemed to be okay through the remainder of the year and the summer. Just before first grade we took him to just a regular Ped. and she gave him some meds to calm him down. (he literally never stopped moving, flapping arms/hands, spinning, and humming...constantly). They helped TREMENDOUSLY!!! He still did these things just not so much.

He is now in second grade age 7 and has been back talking for awhile now but it has gotten out of hand. He is mean and says mean nasty things. He argues with everything even if it doesn't matter.. if he is getting what he wants he argues. The arm flapping and such is also happening more frequently again. He just recently got re-evaluated to see if he has a different form of Autsim/Aspegers... Still haven't saw the actual doctor yet though.

This is where the "discipline" comes into play. At his mothers home his siblings hit and bite him and each other. They basically run wild..... We recently found out that they are locked in their room all day so they wont be a bother to anyone or wake their new baby sister. So, I am "guessing" that it is basically a brawl in there a lot of the time. Which played a pert in why he BROKE A WINDOW and escaped to a neighbors house crying for them to call the police to take them to his Dad's house.

He now seems to think it is okay to do this to his sister. She in turn is starting to hit/bite/backtalk. They are constantly tattling on each other for hitting each other. Aside from the physical violence, I am getting fed up with the backtalk and arguing. It is very disrespectful and I don't know how to make him stop or even tame it down. I don't know if this is part of his "condition" (i hate saying that) or if he is just angry and doesn't know how to express himself. He is VERY SMART!!! He gets A's.. he needs to constantly be refocused but when he does he is a wiz!! Is he just trying to push my buttons?(it's working)

I just really need to know anything that may be able to help him. I ask him if he likes acting this way and he will tell me no, he just doesn't know how to stop. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANYTHING TO HELP!!! Also please be nice... I don't want to hear people who have nothing but negative things to say. I am a stay at home Disabled mommy who is doing the best I can!!

  • Would a pill addict flush pills?

Okay this is kinda a long story....

I have a friend who we all thought "had" a drug problem. Turns out he always has and never stopped. He is also a habitual liar. He lies so much i don't think he knows when he is telling the truth.

Anyways, this past weekend a friend was visiting and he was here. She had a brand new bottle of Xanax. Qty 90. When she was on the way back to the airport she had 38. She was only here for 3 days. She takes 4 a day..... she did take more while here due to drinking ( i know bad idea) and she threw a lot up. NOT like 40 though. Well we had a friend go check on him due to the face that he said he was going to die and we all freaked out. He turned out to be "okay". When we got home from airport 3 hrs away, we went to wake him make sure he was alive. He went straight for his bag and took it to the bathroom to "pee" ....weird... Well he "found a pill on the counter which had already been checked. The water in the toilet looked "bubbly" never has before. After 3 days we finally got him to admit he "planted" the pill to make it look like she just dropped them everywhere.

So, I was wondering if he "a pill addict" would have flushed a possible 30+pills or would he hide them? He has stole Hydros from me and now i found out he stole Fioricet form me too. I find it hard to believe that a TRUE junkie would just flush pills, but I am not addict and if he was afraid of getting caught I just don't know......

Please any advice, we are all afraid he may still have them and if so what he may do with them since he has been talking suicidal thoughts.

  • What is wrong with my child?

My daughter (4 year old) has been complaining about ear pain for several months... I have taken her to the doctor twice for this. She is free of ear inflection they said she has some fluid in her ears probably caused by allergies. The doctor said to give her Clariton however this does NOT help at all. It in fact seems to be getting worse. Every time I wash her hair she SCREAMS saying her ears hurt, she is only sleeping a few hours a night waking up screaming about her ears.

Does this sound like allergies or something else... just concerned that the doctor could have missed something since it has been going on for so long.

  • Can I use Smart Ones to learn portion control and lose weight?

I am wondering if eating Smart Ones can help me get the ball rolling on losing weight? I can cook completely healthy. My problem is portion control. (to much of a good thing can be a bad thing) I LOVE food and I go for second and thirds. Just because I like the flavor. I am just wanting to use these for a couple weeks to get portion size under control. Will these help boost my weight loss in the meantime? I know they have tons of sodium so I drink about a gallon of ice water a day. Any advice?

  • Is this cyber bullying?

okay so this is kinda a long story.... my friends and i had a party we are all 25 and over. However one of us invited our niece age 17 and she brought some friends. Well 17 year old steals a bunch of stuff from aunt and uncle and her friends decide they can too. We confronted all of them. 17 year old confessed to part of it but thinks we should just let it go. so does a lot of the family. She has a habit of stealing though and some of us feel she should learn a lesson so the police are now involved. Since multiple people were stolen from then charges will be pressed by non family members. well since this has happened she has went all "WOE TO ME" on Facebook and texting between her and family she stole from. well she got stood up to for the first time in her life and yeah some things may have been better unsaid but nothing out of line.....except....one of the friends who got $300 worth of stuff stolen and part of their livelihood taken did send a text that was blunt and truthful but he called her a VERY NOTTY WORD at the end. Which he should not have done.

Now her mom is saying all of your grown friends are being mean to my daughter and that's cyber bullying bla bla bla...... well does that mean that standing up for yourself and trying to get the truth out of your niece even if it takes 100 messages is cyber bullying? I just was under the impression cyber bullying was when someone was threatening you or making fun of you or things like that....not multiple attempts to get your things back. if you steal from 5 people you will get several people trying to get their stuff back. I am not too concerned I haven't done anything but i am kinda concerned about my friends. i just don't know exactly what cyber bullying is i guess.....

most of this was between aunt and 17 year old niece except the one from the guy whose wife had over 300 worth of stuff taken. plus a few Facebook comments from the others they didn't have her name nor is she friends with these people.... so i dunno how she would even see these comments. still none of which were really harsh just asking for their stuff back IS THIS CYBER BULLYING

  • Should my leg still be hurting?

I got into an accident a little over 2 months ago and bruised my leg just above my knee BADLY!!

Anyways the bruise can still very faintly be seen in the right light. I have been having SEVERE pain in that area and it keeps spreading further and further. Now it hurts to walk and sometimes just sitting i have stabbing pains.

I never went to the doctor for it...It was just a bruise, right!! Well now I am concerned that it may have been more.

Could i have just like bruised the bone and it is still healing or should i just suck it up and go see a doctor? I will just feel like an idiot if it is still just a bruise.

  • 4 year old girl wont stop masturbating!!!?

My daughter masturbates all day long it seems. I try to tell her to keep it in private but it does not always work. Well I have roommates who make me feel like a horrible about it. Act like she a BAD little girl and if there kid ever did it it will be the last time EVER!!! I just don't know what to do... I am at the point i just want to cry. I don't want to tell her she is a bad little girl or make her feel bad and that we don't love her. Should we take her to a counselor or just let her go at it?

If even one person even suggests that i do not love my child I will report you!!! I am not in the mood!!!!

  • what is my body trying to tell me?!!?!!?

Okay so for about a week now I haven't had an appetite and have lost 10+ pounds. However my stomach feels bloated and is actually bigger. Every time I eat i feel sick. I eat and drink as much as i can. I have been really really tired as well. I actually plan ahead on when I can take naps during the day. I just feel weak and shaky all the way around and tonight I started feeling really drunk and kinda numb. I found a "lump" i guess you'd call it on my lower back by my spine the other day too.

I have a condition known as Neurofibromatosis which causes tumors to grow on nerve endings. So may be related or it may just be a cyst.

I am not pregnant..I took a test and i have an iud which makes it even moor unlikely plus i had a period last month and is not really time for another yet.

I just want to be able to eat and not feel tired all the time.

I know go to the doctor. I am making an apt tomorrow but just want some piece of mind in the meantime. It will be awhile before I can get in unless i go to the er. Especially since my town got leveled by an F-5 and a lot of the doc offices are no longer.

  • what can I do for outdoor play activities?

I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and I need to come up with some outdoor things to do at my house to let them get rid of some of their pent up energy. I rent a home and do have a decent size yard but no fence and it's right next to a very busy road. I need something that is easy to manage. I can't have anything like a swing set, pool, or trampoline. ( it kills the grass that is already dead) I don't know about sprinkler. Will try it till they say no. LOL!! I was wondering about some sort of small scale bounce house or something I can slide onto the patio. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks bunches!!!

  • Why is my cat burying stuff?

We have a 4 year old cat and recently adopted another who is 6. A girl and a boy. (both adopted) Since we got him she has started going around sniffing random things and pawing at it like she is burying it. It is super funny and cute but do you think it may have something to do with the new cat? She doesn't like him. Is she burying his scent? He's not peeing on anything so it can't be that. Just curious if this is normal behavior.

  • How many people in a room on Amtrak?

Okay so I am thinking about traveling from Raton NM to Kansas City MO and I am going to be taking a 6 year old and a 3 year old with me. Needless to say it's a fairly long trip and want to get a room car mostly for the sake of the other travelers. LOL!! They are kinda crazy kiddos. Well the question is can I get a room with 2 beds since they are small children or will I have to get the huge room with 4 beds? I can't afford to get the expensive room but don't want to have to deal with keeping them busy and quiet in the seats for 13+ hrs.

  • What is that show and where can I find it?

Several years ago there was a show on late at night or very early in the morning however you want to look at it. It was about a female Zorro type TV series. She wore a mask and had a hidden identity. I think she was Hispanic also. I think it was called queen of hearts or diamonds or something like that. I would really love to know what it is called and if I can find I can find it anywhere.

  • Why does my 3 year old wake up all night screaming?

    !!!!!!!!WARNING A LITTLE LONG!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so this has been an on and off thing for the past 2 years. She will wake up on and off all night. Well it has been progressively getting worse. It got so bad we went 2 weeks with next to no sleep and were fed up so we made a doc apt. (This was just a little over a month ago). Well of course she slept the night before the apt and we did too, so we maybe didn't seem as desperate as before. Ne ways she said it's just a faze and all she could do is give her some sleeping pills. I said absolutely not. I'm not here to drug my kid... I think there must be something wrong. Doc still said just a faze. Said if it kept up for another month or till we could no longer stand it to bring her back in. Well she got wayyyyy better, even sleeping through the night in her own bed. Here's where it gets tricky..... So she had her 3 year check up 6 days ago and she had been doing great on the sleeping and she got an A+ for health. The very next day we went to get her bro (lives with his mom a LONG ways away) so she doesn't get to see him very often. She only slept through "MOST" of THE 3RD night, and only an hour or two each other night. She seriously wakes in a full blown tantrum:kicking, screaming, crying, throwing herself every which way. (it's like she is completely crazy) She does have night terrors but this is different. She does not take a nap during the day either. She is so tired all the time I feel she is making herself sick. I know she is making me sick. I already have severe headaches almost every day all day and hearing a child scream for 20 hrs a day doesn't help matters at all. Luckily she hasn't woken her brother yet. I am afraid she is going to hurt herself. She already has to a degree. She has bruised herself quite a bit. I am afraid when we have to take back her brother she is going to be even worse. I just feel silly calling the doc when it hasn't even been a week, But we are going crazy!!! I think a lot of it has something to do with her brother and fear of losing him again. i just don't know how to help her understand to have fun while he's here and that he will be back before you know it. I know this has been long winded and out of order a bit but Like I said I am tired and have a terrible headache so I can't focus on very well. PLEASE if anyone has any advice that does not involve taking her back to the doc let me know. If we take him back and she is even worse we will have to but I just need some advice for now!!!

  • Should I be worried about this rash on my 3 year old?

My almost 3 year old daughter has a red sort of streaked rash on her thigh. It's maybe 4in long and 2 in wide. I noticed it this morning and didn't think much about it. Well its still there hours later it doesn't really look worse just still there. It kinda looks like slapped skin but after very close examination I noticed the streaking. So it's very faint. It seems to get worse with heavy play. She doesn't act sick or like it is bothersome, but it is hot to the touch. It will turn white if pressed on. She did seem to have some mild discomfort when I did that. Should I be concerned or can this be a big deal.

  • 5 year old memorizes movies?

Does anybody else have children that have movies memorized? I only let them have 2 hours during the day and he has to have a movie at night to fall asleep to. Well his latest craze is The Emperors New Groove. There is a line in it that says there's no kusko there's no kuskotopia solves my problem...Well neways today I tell him to stop jumping on my bed and he gets a nasty attitude and says "Fine there's no April there's there's no April Moore solves my problem." and proceeds to slam the door in my face. Well as mad as I was it was kinda funny too. Just a bit. He got sent to bed for an hour and no TV for night time. Plus no more of that movie for a long long time. Has anyone else had a child act out movies like this?

no that's not my real name, and no I did not let him see me laugh
