Which current streaming devices are best in your opinion, and why. Also, if you purchase a device such as roku, or kindle fire, do you still have to pay monthly for any app. you watch, such as netflix, or hulu, or amazon? Thank you for any info.!

  • The first time I click on facebook every day........?

regardless of the link I use, or url, it takes about 45 seconds to go to Facebook. If I click anywhere during this time, the screen freezes, then reverts to my desktop. It has been doing this for months. All normal avenues have been tried....caches cleaned, registry cleaned, virus scans, firewalls and cookie settings OK. Facebook is the only site that it occurs. Is this a computer problem (settings), or an ISP problem?

  • Can a 20lb propane tank be used to supply gas logs safely?

I have indoor non-vented propane gas logs - dual btu rating. 18,000 and 36,000, if I remember correctly. I currently have them connected to a 100 lb (whatever) tank, with a regulator. Can I eliminate the 100 lb tank, and hook them up to 20 lb portable cylinders, like those used with a gas grill? Would I still have to have a regulator, and would the regulator fit the 20 lb cylinders?

Knowledgable replys appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • 1992 Honda Accord 4 cyl. auto. sometimes won`t start....?

It only happens rarely, maybe 6-7 times a year, in any weather. When it happens, the D (drive) light on the dash flashes off and on. It usually takes about twenty minutes of sporadic cranking to re-start. Sometimes, when it does re-start, the light continues to flash, but the car runs as if it were stuck in a higher gear ratio.(Maybe something to do with the overdrive). Is there a sensor on the transmission that will cause this? The car runs strong otherwise. Any help greatly appreciated.

  • My 1998 Lincoln Cont. 4.6 V8 auto. stalls only when idling!?

The check engine light is on. After the engine warms up, the engine dies when sitting at a red light, etc. If I keep my foot on the brake and give it a little more rpm`s, it don`t stall. I know it`s a sensor, but which one? Otherwise, the car runs great, although I have seen a slight drop in mpg. Any suggestions?

  • Check engine light came on in a 98 Lincoln Cont. 122K mi?

Small hand held meter reading fuel mixture too lean. (It sometimes starts rough idling after sitting at a long red light, but otherwise runs OK). I suspect O2 senser or maybe mapp senser. Whadda y`all think? Should I just go ahead and put it in the shop for diagnostics, or try the sensers?

  • How can I view JVC Mini DV tapes through an old VCR?

I know how to hook up to the TV and view them through the camcorder, but it really eats up battery time, and I am concerned it will wear out the battery pretty fast. I remember those adapter tapes others used, where you could place a small tape cassette inside it and view through your VCR, but I never had occasion to buy or use one myself. What were they called? Can you use them to view Mini DV tapes? Thanks in advance for serious answers.

  • Can I safely delete these Files? Will it affect any other important files?

I am using a Dell computer with factory installed Windows XP home edition. I have identified the following files as Dell support. If I delete them, will it stop Dell support reporting. I have blocked them from reporting (I think) with Zonealarm firewall. Will it mess up other files? Can I try it and get back OK using system restore. I want to delete Dell support without harming other files. Add/remove in control panel wont do it, it halts before finishing. Serious answers please. (I do pick best answers, not voters) The files are...

  • HEY everybody! We`re ALL special this year! Did you know this?

Is this worth a star or two?

Easter is early this year. Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Based on the above information, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) that is rare.

Here's the interesting information. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

    1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

    2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!
