I was in an accident, and my car was a total loss. I was parked and outside the car. The guy didn't have insurance, but I had uninsured motorist and my insurance company is going to pay me for the car. They sent me a form (release in full of all claims and rights) Basically to not come after them for more expenses after I sign, but there are only two lines to sign... One says "witness" and the other "notary". There is not place for me to sign or am I supposed to sign where it says "witness"? The notary would not notarize it because of this. Very confusing.. Thanks

First off, the truck is a 1971 Toyota Landruiser fj40 with a chevy 350 v8 and holley 8050b carb. Edlebrock performer intake. The thing has been running kinda crappy for a while now, and after I did a tune up with new distributer and coils even. So I looked at the air filter and it looked like someone put oil on it to help collect dirt. Anyway, it was filthy! I put a brand new one on, and it ran quite a bit better and smoother, to the store. Restarted and went home.. no problems.

Now I go to start it a few hours later, and it started and ran fine for about 30 or more seconds then it stalled. The auto choke was on, and usually I have to kick down the choke. but after it stalled, when I started it back up the choke really wasn't working and keeps stalling. I just left it alone since it wouldn't start. I'm not sure if it's flooded, but it did sputter and pop a couple times. Could the mixture be off now? I'm baffled. Prior to this, I've replaced just about everything tune up wise. Thanks

Hi, I have a 93 Camry, and I started to notice the other night while driving that when I turn to high beams, all the dash lights went dim for a second and the radio picked up the "click". After a few times of experimenting going 60mph down the road, I tried it again and this time ALL electrical went out for a second and even the engine went off! All power steering and power brakes did too. I could feel it. WTH?? It was very scary! What could be causing this??

Note: the battery is new, and I burnt out my right lowbeam and replaced both bulbs a few months ago and now the right low beam bulb is burnt again.

Hi, I'm having trouble with a word problem. Suppose a slow train left Texas at 3:00pm and travels east toward florida. 4 hours later a fast train leaves florida headed towards Texas. The fast train is 4 times faster than the slow train. They meet 6 hours after after the fast train leaves Florida. Taking account for the time change, which train is farther from Florida?

A few years ago I was running on a treadmill at the gym and when I got home I felt a burning sensation near the bottom of my bladder on the right. It hurt for several days before going away. I also had some total numbness on that side for a while. I have scoliosis so I wrote it off as a pinced nerve. But sometimes I still feel a burning sensation there once in a while, mostly when I sit and do homework for a while. And when I get stressed I feel weak down there.. hard to explain. I do not feel any "lump" or anything, but when I lay down on my back in bed and have to cough, I can feel a very fast "bump." I'm afraid now to do anything because I don't want to aggrivate a hernia if that is what it is. Anybody else had these symptoms? I don't feel anything when I stand, only when I sit and stress out over math or a paper. Thanks.

My refridgerator's freezer works great, but the refridgerator part barely works. I've scrubbed it clean and there is no tray underneath. So why does this thing randomly smell like death? One day it's rotten smelling vegetables, and another day it's rotten meat. I'm getting sick of this smell!

The car is a camaro with chevy 350 mild cam, headers ect. And edelbrock performer intake and carb. When I stepped on it hard to show off to a friend, it went good, then spuddered like it was running out of gas. I'm 90% sure it's a gas shortage since I just ran out of gas last week, and it did the same thing. It's been running fine otherwise. Is there something I should adjust on the carb? Thanks.

So I shut my computer down earlier and it was working fine. Now I turn it on, and everything has a wierd purple or green tint to it. It wasn't banged or anything! For instance, when something is supposed to appear black, it appears green and pixlely instead with two whit lines going through it. My yahoo page looks kind of purplish. It's similar to when a video is scrambled. I've almost had it with this thing. I just paid $300 to have it professionally re-booted and cleaned and it was working fine for the last 3 months. I'm beginning to think that there is some kind of scam going on with computers so you will have to buy a new one every 2 years. It's really pissing me off!!

Ok, so I fell into hard times and my student loans went to a collection company. I retrieved the phone number from my credit report and called them. It was Windham Professionals who I contacted. They told me that I was not far behind and set me up on a payment plan. After I made an initial payment of $1114 on a balance of $9821 with 2.48% interest rate, I continued to make automatic payments of $110 per month for the last 8 months equaling another $880. So I've made a grand total of $1994 payments so far on my loans. Now that I have been current for 6 months straight, the loans came out of late status and they were handed back to a company called ACS. Now I'm supposed to make the same payments to them with the same interest rate, only my balance is now $9590. So it looks like I have only paid a total of $231 of my loans instead of $1994. What is going on here? Am I being ripped off seriously???
