I have had the implanon inserted for a year now, and I have experienced a lot or irregular bleeding.

I had my 'period' for 10 days. It then stopped for a few days and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he ejaculated into me. A few days later my stomach felt very tight. That night I started having some slight period blood. I then got cramps like I do with my period, but there was hardly any blood. It has continued for 5 or so days and has been both a very light red and a very dark red (which just looks like old blood to me). I think I am just being super paranoid, but any feedback would be appreciated.

I 18 years old, and had the implanon inserted just over a month ago. I got it because I experienced very bad period cramps and as a contraception.

I was fine for the first week, and then I started to experience bleeding. It started off very lightly, and hasn't stopped for the entire month.

The last week though, it has been a much brighter red, brighter than I have ever seen menstrual blood, is this a side effect from something?

I also had sex with my boyfriend for the first time, once the implanon had been in for a week, and we were sure that it was effective.

Is it common for their to be this much bleeding? And will it eventually stop?

Mi grandma asked me 2 find this song called "Paid in Full"

Ok one of mi Besties is going through this hard time... she was sexually assulted by this Basted and its hitting her really hard. Shes gone to the police and filled in a satement and everything, but i mean shes really upset and i have no idea what to say or to do... I am always der for mi friends, i listen and give advice but with this... i have no idea what to say i just keep saying that it will b ok, that shes done the rite thing, but i dont know if im saying the rite thing. I also have a bad thing that shes tempted to kill her self. She went through this thing last year, and i fear that shes gonna fall back into her self harming mood... She has a really cool BF whos always der for her... but i am still so confused about wat to do... ive never had 2 deal with something like this before... BTW she is going to c a councellour which i said was a gr8 idea.

Anyway wat should i b saying to her? Is der a rite or wrong thing to say?
