This question is directed towards religious people who believe in God.

I'm not religious at all, so the reason for why athletes thank God for their success might be obvious to those active in a religious community.

Right after I workout it seems like I'm seeing results (as in bigger muscles). But from my understanding, it takes time to increase muscle size (rips in muscle tissue recovers and that is what increases the muscle size). So, is there actual increase in muscle size right after a workout or is it a placebo effect?

I have a digital camera, web cam, and a cell phone that all have the capability to take pictures.

Not willing to go to a professional.

Could possibly be using these for Social Networks, Online Dating, or even Y!A as my avatar.

I introduced myself to a girl that I've recently developed a crush on.

Here is how it happened. Every semester I hang out at the tennis courts with the classes that take place there every morning. I'm already a very decent and competent tennis player and the coach knows me very well so she allows me to just hang out there and hit some balls with her students and help her with some demonstrations. During this particular day the class was doing a Round Robbin type of practice. After couple rounds I got paired against a girl that I developed a crush on recently. When she saw that she was playing against me she commented "how did I get paired against someone good like you?" (this makes me think that she has noticed me and my playing ability). I reply with a playful "oh, I'm sorry" (I couldn't think up of anything better at the moment) So, we get into the match, I go easy but still end up winning. When it is time to go on to the next round we exchange "good game" pleasantries. I then ask her: I've seen you from somewhere before, haven't I? (I actually already knew the answer to this, I just needed something to break the ice) She replies that she was in the Beginning tennis class last semester (that's the answer that I was expecting). I ask her what her name is and she replies by telling me her name. I tell her my name. She says "nice to meet you". I reply the same way. We shake hands and at this point we need to move on to our next match.

It was a brief introduction, but I feel that it was nice, simple, and did the job what it was supposed to do. So, what is my next step?

Around the beginning for summer, my friend stopped answering and returning my calls. I don't know what to think of this. I have thought up of possibilities ranging from my friend just being on a long vacation and not wanting to be bothered, to something terrible has happened and physically preventing my friend from contacting me, to my friend being mad at me for some reason that I can't possibly think of, to just being ignored. I really don't like losing friends, especially after knowing them for quite a while. Even though I haven't been calling on a consistent basis (around 5 or 6 times in the past 3-ish months), I'm assuming that at least one of these calls would have prompted my friend to call back. We are both adults (early 20s) and if my friend does not want to talk to me, I'm fine with that, but I would like to know the reason why. Is it me or is it something personal? Obviously there is no way for me to re-establish contact (not answering the phone), so it is not like we can talk it out (at least until I get a call back), so I don't know what to do. Should I continue leaving voice mails? Perhaps leave a guilt inducing voice mail ("I haven't heard from you in a while and you are making me worry")? Maybe try email? I'm not at the point where I'm ready to just drop this and stop trying. So, any suggestions would be great.

If they know me well enough couldn't they be good matchmakers?

Geektool looks like a really nice way to customize your desktop (clock, calendar, etc.), but I don't have a Mac and I use Windows 7. Most of the gadgets that Windows 7 allows you to have on the desktop makes it look so cluttered even when you set the opacity really low, while Geektool allows everything to blend into the desktop very nicely. So, I was wondering if there was any program like Geektool for Windows 7?

I started at 20 push-ups without rest and every week after that I added 5. (1st week 20, 2nd week 25, 3rd week 30, etc). I'm at 75 right now. If I continue to add 5 every week (80 the next week, 85 the week after that, etc), will I continue to see positive results or will diminishing returns start to happen? I'm satisfied with even the slightest positive results, I'm not looking for any drastic change.
