so i am a junior at high school and for some reason my parents wanted my to talk Calculus at community college, even though i still haven't taken Pre-calculus yet. My teacher called me up and said I have a D in the class. I felt a little bad but not really because im in high school these classes are only for enrichment. Is a D in community college a failing grade? will i have to retake that class, or can I still go on to Calculus 2?

also does community college classes taken during high school matter? My high school does NOT recognize these classes, and my high school GPA will not be affected. Does all this get erased when I actually go to high school?
