  • Date went good but he wont hold a conversation?

I went on a date with a guy Friday night to the movies and then we went back to his house and watched another movie. The movie at the theater was a little awkward but once we got to the house thigs went better. NOTHING happened not even a kiss he gave me a hug when i finally left his house at 12:30 (we got there at about 9:30.) The next morning when we talked he said he thought it went well i said i didnt think the movies went that great but we should try again doing somethig different. Now he wont hold a conversation whereas before we talked constantly. Did i say somethig wrong? I really like this guy so anything helps. We are both in highschool, drive, have jobs, and are mature youbg adults so this isnt another junior high post. Thanks!

  • Horses not getting along!?

I have a twenty year old gelding and recently got a 10 year old mare. The first two days they got along fine. They began to have problems the first day we had rain. I have two stalls and some livestock pens opposite to them. Usually in bad weather my gelding would stand in the alley way of the barn. Now when it rains the mare stands in the alley way and won't let my gelding get out of the rain. Right now it's not a big deal because I am home all day, and I'm able to put them in their stalls when it starts to rain. Next week I have to go back to school though and so for 7 hours everyday no one will be here to put them in and out of their stalls.

The day to day routine is pretty simple. In the mornings they get fed at about 6:30 to 7 and are let a out around 9. They are in the pasture all day (with the alley way of the barn being their shelter from the weather) and come in at 4:30 to eat, be worked, groomed, etc. and stay in all night other than when they're turned back out while I muck stalls.

How should I make sure that everyone can escape the rain in harmony?

Oh and I cannot leave the stalls open sense they have a tendency to go into one at the same time and start kicking at each other.

    Thank you,

    God Bless

  • Mr. Darcy, Late Mr. Darcy, and Mr. Wickham?

As I was reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen I began to wonder about the frinedship between the late Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham. If Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickhan are about the same age how is it that the Late Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham were such good friends? Was it that Mr. Wickham saw the Late Mr. Darcy as a mentor? It is interisting that he speaks as if he was friends with the Late Mr. Darcy before Mr. Darcy's birth/early childhood. If someone could please explain the realationships between these three characters it would be greatly appreciated.

  • How to transition where my horse is staying?

I have a 4 1/2 acre horse pasture in my back yard, unfortunately they are putting a pipeline through the middle of it. They are paying to have my horse boarded down the street at a stable while there is construction. What is the best way to move him without causing him stress?

  • Is there a horse chosen as 'super horse'?

I just got a 3 year old paint filly that I'm going to get this afternoon. I was told by the seller that her grandfather on her mother's side was a 'super horse'. Sadly, I forgot the grandfather's name. He used it in the context as something like an award. Have you ever heard of this before? If so where can I look it up?

  • confusing ex-boyfriend!?

I was with this guy for 2 months and we had a nice relationship, and we were each others first kiss. I was treating him worse than most guys deserved to be treated, especially him, and of course he broke broke up with me. A few days later we started talking again. Then we were at a mutual friend's house and got into a fight. Later the next week we started talking again and confessed that we still both liked each other. The very next day he told me he just wanted to be friends, but in the past few days he has told me and acted like he wanted more than a friendship! I'm extremely confused and think I want him back. I'm confused enough that I'm not even sure of m own emotions! What should I tell this guy?

  • My horse jerks his head up when I take off his bridle...?

My horse suddenly has this problem of jerking his head up when I take off his bridle! I thought he might have had a sore mouth the first time he did it but it persisted even after i gave his mouth time to heal. We have had an equine dentist out and she says everything looks fine. The vet has looked at him several times sense this starting occurring. This wasn't that big of an issue until one day he threw up his head and I was thrown against a fence. I had severe bruises on my back, I couldn't bend over, and I couldn't pick up anything heavy for a couple of weeks. Now I'm almost scared to take off his bridle.... Please help.

  • Feeling threatened by his friend....?

I've known this guy for a couple years and we started going out a couple weeks ago I thought we had no secrets and were really comfortable... We're both friends with this girl and we talk to her and he sits with her in a couple classes but she's asked him out and been rejected a few times so I thought I had nothing to worry about. Last weekend I got into a fight with her (texting) because she kept talking about him and saying how much she likes him, but he never talks about her unless I bring her up. I was absent for a couple of days and he kept talking to her but I didn't think much of it because I'm pretty sure he doesn't like her. Today she wanted me to ask him if he was going to her band concert to watch her play oboe and he said no not unless you want to go and I told him I didn't. Should I feel threatened by this "friend"? Should I confront her about it? Should I confront him about it? Should I overlook this girl? Thanks in Advance!

I have no rubber matting, a 8x12 stall, my horse will be stabled all but 4-6 hours out of the day, I have sand at the bottom, he's 20 years old and he's about 15.2 hh. I went to the feed store today and I bought these things called Pine Pellets, you put them in your stall, wet them down a little and leave them, I didn't buy near enough to do my whole stall but I want to try them out if I like them would it be he same for these little pellet as regular wood shavings????

  • One big dog question please help!?

I've always wanted one of those dogs that will follow you to the end of the earth, that will do every thing with you, a dog I can brag about, I want LOYALTY. I have two dogs right now, that's more than enough for me. I have a one year old Louisianna Catahoula Leapord Dog. We found her on a busy road on Christmas Eve, she had obviously been abused even though she was so young her eyes weren't even open. I stayed up for the next six week and bottle fed her and slept on the bathroom floor with her. Holly likes to try to heard me around the yard until she remembers she can get through the front gates. Then I have to chase her around, and when I finally get her back I have to either put her in her pen(wich is very big with a smaller pen inside of it wich both have clean water, food, and shade) or on her 50 foot lead wich has clean water, food, and shade. I also have a two year old Parson Russel Terrier named Max. Max has one leg that is shorter than the other because his hip had to be removed, and has no voice because a pitbull ripped out his trakea and he had to go into emergency surgery. He also like to run away when Holly runs away so he gets put back in the pen when I catch him. They are fed in the morning in the large pen and in the afternoons when I get home from school Holly gets put on her lead and max is left to run in the yard. Neither of thedogs know any commands except to come to their names wich they only do when they feel like it. I have a horse and I would like for them to get along well but that does not happen. What should I do?! I want to train them to both be dream dogs. What are some websites I could go to? What books could I read? Another question I have are what are some good, tasty, nutritional dog foods that aren't very expensive? Is it o.k. to bathe dogs once a week? Holly has a skin allergy she scratches herself hairless in some spots what is sometihing I could do about that? Should I change my schedule with the dogs? I hope I didn't overwhelm yall! Thank you sooooooo much!

  • what to do about my over weight cat?

My cat is pretty overweight and I know that this is a health risk. She has an issue with her urinary tract so we feed her Purina ONE urinary tract health formula. She is an indoor cat and usually only plays for about an hour at night. We keep food and water out for her at all times. How much should I feed her? When should I feed her? What should I feed her (that would still help with her urinary tract health)? Could I mix whatever new food i need to feed her with what I am feeding her now and it still help her with her urinary tract? Sorry that there are so many questions but i need to know some answers so thank you!

  • Please answer a few boy friend questions.?

Question 1. I want to go to homecoming with this guy, he wont ask me out even though he flirts with me a lot. My friend said she was just going to talk to him and ended up asking him out for me and he just stood there looking at her like an idiot, which he's not, and then yesterday he started like acting like we were dating! Today he totally ignores me then all of a sudden decides he wants to keep looking at me so I asked him out and this time he said I don't know! It's so confusing I don't even know weather or not I have a boyfriend! What should I do?!

Question 2. I've heard that in relationships that you basically have 'levels' such as just hanging out-kissing (for my age) about how long bee tween each step?

    Thanks in advanced!

When of course there is always the Option of relocation our very smart president, who ordered this, didn't think of that! Did they actually start today? Please tell me that this whole round up was canceled!

  • Any suggestions for a "horse" schedule?

I am bored and thought it would help to get some ideas. I want to know three schedules, one for right now, two for when our horses have to move out for "remodeling", and three when they get to move back in. right now we have a two stall open sided barn with a square pen right outside of it. The stalls can be separated or closed. the pen is connected to the big 4 1/2 acre pasture by a big gate. We have a round pen that will get bigger and filled with sand during the remodeling. right now our pasture doesn't have much grass but we have a big load of hay showing up today. The remodeling starts around April and the will no longer have Access to the pasture.they will be able to go in my yard occasionally when the ground is dry and the weather is good. When they come back we may have a closed in four stall barn that will still be connected to the pasture and we will have grass. I show them about every two to three months with the 4h and I may start showing more often with a new horse I might buy. I know this is long and kind of pointless but its an easy two to twelve points.

    Thanks! :D

p.s. i am at school from 7 am. to either 2 30, 4 30, or 8pm because of Volley ball.
