Me and my mother found a bag of old cards, among them being credit cards from 1929, train cards from the santa fe railroads, western union telegraph company, credit cards from the shell oil company, standard oil company credit cards.....all dating from the 1920s to 1940. They are all made out to one man, but we would like to know what these would be worth. Any suggestions? Or experts that would know something about this? Perhaps some historical information?

I am recently engaged, and me and my fiancé are wanting to know if there are any venues/hotels/rental places we could have for our ceremony that overlooks the skyline. We want to have individual candles hanging from the ceiling, to give the starry, romantic look. Does anyone know of such a place in Chicago? Or if you know of a venue with many flowers, gardens, etc.<—still in the Northwest Indiana-Chicago area?

Our 5 year anniversary was the 14th of this month. The things I have already gotten him previous years are as follows: made him a pillow and a blanket, got a guitar,soccer jerseys, clothes & colognes, scrapbooks, and other little things. BUTTTTTTTTTTTT I'm out of ideas. We have been talking about marriage A LOT lately, life in a few years. I thought about making him another scrapbook of what our life might be like in a few years, but thats a little cheesy and pushy i think. What do you think? I need ideas on what to get him!!! help!!!

my roommate and i are looking to hang a pattern of curtains across our dorm room and we need to figure out a way to hang them. the room is 15' 6" long. We cant find a curtain rod long enough for the room, if you know of any places that sell a rod this long please let me know. orrrrr, can you think of another way of making the curtains stay put? we cannot drill anything into the walls or anything of that nature. HELP PLEASEE!!! thanks!

I know this is long, but just please, read this.

So, my best friend and I have been two peas in a pod since second grade. We have only ever fought once, and it was over jump roping in the third grade. Lately, we've been kinda growing apart, and we both know it, we just don't want to mention it.

So like 6 months ago she started telling me about this guy, and what she liked about him and what she didnt like. The things she didn't like were things like he may transfer college, he knows a lot of girls, he has a past of a lot of girls, he smokes pot, he's in college.

So immediately, I really don't like the guy...i think it's a horrible idea to even associate with him. Then the first time I met him, I wanted to shoot myself because he was SOOOOO full of himself! I told my friend that I didn't really like him, and she says "Oh get to know him better!" So, I'm not going to let this guy come between me and my BEST friend, so I give him a try. And the next time we all hang out he's like, absolutely silent. And my friend said that he's normally never like that and he didn't want to act like himself because he felt like he was being judged. How am I suppose to like him if he never acts like himself around me? Needless to say, that was the last time I ever hung out with him.

I am trying my hardest to like him but for some reason it just is not happening! I have NEVER not liked a person for no reason, and I have a feeling that I may feel like this because something is going to happen to make what i predicted right!

So tonight I went to sleep and had a dream about my best friend and I. We were driving to the mall and she told me to take some different roads and wouldn't tell me where we were going, and I stopped the car, and she said I was gonna see if he could come. And I guess she could tell from the look on my face that I was PO'd. She told me she was starting to think what he does about me, That I am such a narrow minded person that I can't just be happy for her. I told her I am absolutely happy that she is happy, but it would be nice that she considers where I am coming from. She stopped me and said "If you can't accept him, then I guess we wont be talking. Actually I never want to talk to you again. You're just being a skank." And we were both telling eachother that we hated eACHOTHER.

I woke up sitting straight up and sweating so bad. And I just started to cry. Like bawling like a baby.

What should I do?!!! She knows I don't like him, but she's ALWAYS with him anymore, and there's really no time for us. I'm just so horribly terrified that I am going to lose the person that means the most to me in life.

Please please help me.

I have been wanting to start some side jobs in photography. I have been doing peoples senior pictures and also I have been doing some family photographs. Of course, they have been paying me to do them. Things are really starting to take off. I wanted to put up my own Facebook Page or a "business page" of some sort. Do I need to have some sort of license or something to do this job on the side?

So I am going to send a package of pictures to a client in Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh, and I am just unsure about how many stamps I need to send the package. It is a yellow Scotch Bubble Mailer and it's dimensions are as follows: 8.5 IN by 11 IN. I'm not sure if it depends on the weight of the package or what? Help please!! Oh yeah, I live in the suburbs of Chicago and that is also where I will be sending the package from. So Chicago to Pittsburgh.

I am taking my senior pics and i need a white dress that is not super short but is no longer than my knees. I am looking for something that can flow and is some what romantic and flirty. if it helps the locations where i am taking my photos are the beach, an apple orchard, and a wheat field! thanks!

okay. tommorow i am starting a diet. 2 of my friends tried it and it worked great. she lost nearly 20 pounds in a few months.

so tommorow this is what i will be doing.

breakfast=corn(just plain corn) and 2 cups of green tea.

lunch=bean soup and 3 cups of water.

snack=banana and a fourth cup of toasted peanuts 2 cups of water

dinner=chicken noodle soup with whole wheat crackers(hard to find around here but very healthy) and d2 cups of water.

does this seem healthy enough?

is there something that can be replaced or added to improve this? i plan to switch the snack everyday, one day fruits, next baby carrots, next yogurt and so forth.

okay. i have a problem with dead ends. no matter if i straighten it or not they keep coming back and get gradually worse. i get it trimmed often and use conditioners that are supposed to help the problem. however, the conditioner always dries my hair out and makes it very brittle. any suggestions on what type of conditioner or tips to make it stop?

For the past 3 days or so i have been shaking uncontrollably. it comes and it goes. people say its stress, but i feel that i am under no great pressure. i eat healthy meals 3 times a day. it seems everytime i get shaky and eat something it gets worse? any clue whats wrong with me.

In about a week, i will be student teaching for my high school student council. i was assigned for gym(7-8 grade). however i find that the only activities i know dodgeball, matball, volleyball and basketball, are the ones they do everyday. i want to give them an opprutunity to do something new!! i just cant think of anything. suggestions? thanks!
