Ok so i have a pit mixed dog. he is the cutest and friendliest dog. always jumping and playing. he is still a puppy going on 9 months. He has a habit of opening his mouth around my hand and holding it for a few seconds and then does it again to my fingers and arms. he does not bite or nibble on people just his toys. But he always does this to me and my friends. not to my husband. He also is obedient to my husband but not so much to me. Could this be a control thing. where he is trying to tell me he is in charge, or cause hes teething? i dont know why he does it. this is my first dog. so i need to understand what is he thinking, and why is he doing this.

Ok so i feel like i have tried everything to potty train my dog. Is he slow or do all dogs eventually get it at there own rate, or is he doing this intentionally. I have given him treats when he goes outside and does his business and praised him a whole lot. i take him out every hour or every 2. My dog is 6 months and i've had him for 2 months. He wont scratch the door or use the bell thing we put on the door. i was told to grab his paw and try to show him how to scratch it every time we go out. But what i notice he does is he goes next the the door signaling he needs to go and only waits 2 seconds, and if no one is there looking at him at that moment he will go and pee or poop some where in the house. i dont want to have to watch him everyday of my life. i also try and stop him from going in his crate i take him out before we go to bed, in the middle of the night and in the morning. And every day it does not fail he poops in the crate.i even put a divider. I will leave him outside for a good half hour and he will come inside the house and pee within the first 10 min. I dont understand. i also have tried other methods like just saying no and picking it up and placing in the grass so he can see. people told me to put his nose close to it and say no, i was also told to spank him when he pooped in the house. i dont really like that method but i feel like i ran out of options. i tried all of these and still he poops in the house and in the crate. anyone have any more ideas? is there someone i can hire that will get it through to him.

i got a postive on a pregnancy test, i used first response which is supposed to be one of the better tests to get. Well i was reading reviews and it said people got false positives, how can that be. have u tried first response?

If u look closely there are two lines one is very dark and the other is really really light, does this mean im pregnant? or theres not enough of that hormone in my body yet so i found out im in the early stages of pregnancy? or did i just pee on the stick too long. I did what the instructions said. pee for 5 seconds then wait one min. Is it possible for a test to give false positives? heres a picture of my test

I really dont know, every one tells me the tag on the inside. but what about the tag?? is there any way else u can tell??

This is my first dog!!! I am new to learning how to train my dog. I was not trying to be cruel in spanking or putting my dogs nose in his poop when he has accidents in the house. I thought it was mean, but I WAS TOLD TO TEACH THE DOG THIS WAY!!!! By my husband who had a beagle, and his mother, and a friend. That was 3 people who told me.They explained to me that when i was a child i got spanked for being bad, and that dogs need to be treated the same. Now i understand that there are other methods on teaching my dog, and i will try them. But dont judge me so harshly, i was just trying to do my best.

My dog is really smart at learning tricks, but he never ever barks. I taught him sit in 20 min, and lie down in 30 min. He catches on quickly. But i dont know how to teach him bark if he never ever speaks. He is still a puppy. He doesnt bark at people, or other dogs even when the dogs bark at him!

the only reason i say its been so hard is because he only does it when i cant watch, like when i go to the bathroom, or put clothes in the dryer, takes to seconds and hes already gone in the house.

I have two cats and a puppy, One of my cats is very antisocial, and she does not like the dog yet. but My other cat on the other hand walks around the house and the dog chases him and pins him down and will hold him with his mouth, i dont know if this is playing or serious. Sometimes my cat will punch the dog in the face. but the cat doesnt run like hes scared, and he doesnt hiss at the dog anymore.
