  • IP Camera Wifi not working?

I purchased a sricam Ip camera and need to use it for outdoor security at my house. I set up the wifi on the camera with a fixed IP address and then set up IP hosting on noip.com and then set port forwarding on my router. It worked for a few months and then for some reason the noip website deactivated my account. I reactivated the account and am able to get wifi signal inside my house but when I try to view the set website for my camera at a offsite location it wont connect. Any ideas why this is not working. I m thinking of just resetting the camera and starting over. All settings look to be correct....very confused.

  • Would my YouTube video be fair use?

So I'm in a concert band and last year I made a Star Wars video to play behind the band playing a medley of Star Wars songs. It's just a bunch of clips from the movies while the band plays. I uploaded this to YouTube and of course it got bounced for copyrighted material. I disputed this under fair use and I am not profiting from it I just wanted to let the band members watch it. Do you think this is a legit use of fair use?

  • Ford Ranger starts and immediately stalls?

This is semi complicated...yesterday I started my truck and noticed a misfire. I turned it off and back on and it started fine...was driving for about 5 min and got to a intersection. As soon as I stepped on the brake the car stalled. Had it towed home and it cannot stay on unless I am ramming the gas pedal down. I know this has something to do with it not getting enough fuel. I am getting too lean codes. But I have already replaced the IAC valve, the fuel pump, the fuel filter, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the throttle body sensor and cleaned the MAF. Would a oxygen sensor cause this? I also read to check the EGR valve but I don't think my truck actually has one. Any advice would really be appreciated. Oh also the dealership did a smoke test and said there were no vacuum leaks that they could see.

  • Cat Bites Hand Hard?

So I rescued a cat living outside a couple weeks ago. Since then he has been staying in a spare bedroom. He was neutered last Monday and tested positive for FIV. I was hoping to be able to introduce him to my non FIV cats and possibly integrate but while he is domesticated he is much more aggressive than I have seen in any other cat. I think he has WAY more testosterone than most cats but if one of my female cats runs in the room he is literally on top of her biting her neck. Then he has this habit of biting my hand hard out of no where. Not a play bite... every time it has broken skin. Usually when I am petting him. Should I be worried that these behaviors will stick or do you think it will go away when the hormones start to fade in a few weeks. I will have to find him a only cat home if it doesn't stop because I can't risk him infecting my cats. Advice is welcome.

  • Tough Question- Bad spay causing internal bleeding in my 5 year old cat?

This is more of a law question. I just found out last night through a xray at the vets that my previous vet did a absolutely crappy spay on my cat using a freaking ton of staples inside her rather than just tying them off like most sane vets to. So there are about 4 staples on the uterine stump when there should be just one and now you can see one staple cutting into her bladder and causing her to pee blood. My vet said he had never seen anything like it and had to consult a older vet because it was so crazy looking. My question is would you report this vet to the veterinary board and do you think there is any way I can get them to pay for the new surgery to go in and get rid of the staples. I'm so pissed.

  • HELP! My female macaw that I raised from a baby is attacking me and thinks she is mated to our other female!?

I will take any advice at this point. I know all about cat behavior but not much about psychotic bird mating behavior. I have a 14 year old female macaw that I raised from a baby. She was bought to keep our older female company. The older female is about 33 years old. About two months ago she started acting like a hormonal teenager by attacking me if I came too close to the top of her cage. The older female is definitely instigating this. They sit together all day and if I get close she raises her wings and tries to bite me. This was a bird that would cuddle with me and play and talk. All I have now is a wild bird basically. I have to throw a towel over her to safely put her in her cage to calm down. Should I separate them? I don't see any other option at this point. Advice please!!

  • Italian wedding tradition?

A few years ago I watched a wedding show on TLC. On it the reception venue had cut up pieces of parmesean cheese and dipped them in olive oil as a good luck symbol. I have never heard of this being done before but if someone has heard of this or should share a link with the background of the tradition I would appreciate it.

  • New LG tv won't merge channels together. Help?!?

I feel like a goof for having to ask this but I have no idea what to do with this tv. I just got a LG 26LH20 from a pawn shop and it works great but I have no idea how to get the channels to merge together. There is CADTV channels and TV channels and CATV channels and DTV channels. I cant just go from 3-0 to 3-1. Its either all -0 or -1 and I have to switch between CATV and TV and CADTV. This is absolutely stupid. Anyone know how to fix this. I just want to be able to scroll up through the channels in order without switching signals every time.

  • 9 year old golfish at bottom of tank?

So I have a nine year old goldfish that has been very lethargic lately. Moved him to a 55 gal tank a couple weeks ago but hes not really swimming around. He seems to just sit at the bottom of the tank in the corner. The tank has a fluval canister filter, ammonia level indicator, double bubbler and has stress coat and aquarium salt in it. I also did a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment when I switched tanks. He has no visible signs of illness but it just sitting at the bottom. I'm stumped.

  • Cats at Boarding Facility?

This is a bit complicated. I am fostering some kittens and the transport brought a few more than I could take care of in my house (20) so I took some advice and put 6 of the kittens in a boarding facility. Four of the six have been adopted but my issue is that the place is a dump. All the cats in the facility are waiting for homes through another cat rescue. I had brought a big box of wet cat food to feed my kittens and I came to check on them a couple days later and the box had not been opened. There are also kittens that are like 4-5 weeks old and she is only feeding them dry. I have to feed all the cats in the stupid boarding facility now because this lady is so horrible. I emailed the lady that is boarding the other cats there and not-suprsingly she has not responded to my concerns. I would have no problem reporting her but I am afraid the humane society would euthanize the cats that are sick. I really can't trust anyone at this point and I am going to take my remaining kittens home but I don't want to leave the other kittens stuck in that place where they are never let out of the cage and only eat dry food. Any rescuers out there that could give me some advice would be really helpful. I just don't want to see any cats hurt because of this.

  • How to secure box in pickup truck bed?

I just bought a large box to put in the back of my pickup truck. I am able to lock it but it came with nothing to secure it in the truck bed. There is really nothing to keep someone from pulling it out of the truck if they wanted. Is there anyway to secure the box in the bed of the truck??

  • Kitten is a toe biter?

Ok..we rescued a kitten last month from the freezing cold and she was stick thin. When she is hungry in the morning her method of making herself known is to scream at me and bite my toes...she will even go after my slipper if I have them on. Shes quite happy after I feed her but I have never seen this behavior in cats before. Wondering if anyone else has had a cat that did this?

  • What to do about a Vindictive Cat?

My kitten who is now 2 years old was harrassed and attacked alot by my other cat when she was little. I can't understand why my other cat picked on her and not her brother or sister but thats in the past. Now that the kitten is a bit bigger she hates my other cat with a passion. She screams when she sees her and goes after her like bobcat. Feel like I need a pet psychic for this one but I am getting tired of the drama. Besides pulling out a squirt bottle any ideas on how to restore peace?

  • Mom's hair dresser flat irons hair right after perm, is this a dumb thing to do?

The lady that does my moms hair straightens her hair with a flat iron (to smooth it out is her reasoning) RIGHT AFTER pulling out the curlers from a perm. Please prove me right when I tell my mom that she is nuts and she basically destroys the perm by applying heat to it directly after setting the perm. I think she basically is throwing over fifty dollars out the window. Her hair looks crappy now and she just had it done a week ago. I am not a hair stylist but even I know that heat breaks newly formed bonds. Any advice is appreciated.

  • Inside of mouth is raw?

About two days ago I noticed the upper palate and gums in my mouth were basically raw. I have absolutely no clue what could cause this. I am guessing acid reflux but any other opinions would be good. I don't have dental issues and its not really in a spot for dental problems anyway. No sores or anything like that...just feels like the skin is gone.
